Update?! I have Verizon hotspot. It works well but just like any mobile carrier, a week before the bill is due it’s either slowed drastically or all data is used up. Don’t like how I’m paying for unlimited data, but the data is limited 150 GB. I am locked into a contract which goes on my credit. So now I’m looking to switch.
Does it work like a phone where hops signal from one tower to another, as my kids use my phone hotspot for gaming on the road while driving. does it only work while park?

So I just got mine in the mail today. It does say that it is intended for use in a fixed location and that using it in other locations other than the eligible address is not permitted. Has there been any issues for you recently?
@@CoachDusty ah ok that makes sense. I assume if you keep it plugged in while driving will make it more likely for T-Mobile to lock the device because it's actively disconnecting and reconnecting to different towers often
This might simplify the quest. Does this wifi work while driving down the road so a 2nd driver can watch tv? I did see your plug in for the wifi. Thanks again

@@MS-oz2wu they need a billing address within their area where they have 5g coverage. Other than that, motor on. Before TMobile I had Verizon home 5g/unlimited for $60 a month/no limits/no throttle

Even so, ill be running North East Region in my Semi Truck so that shouldn’t be a problem. Im just checking after time has passed if its still working for you. Thanks
@@xxghost_powersxx5680 it's going through cell phone towers. It'sike travelling around with a cell phone. Sometimes it's fast, sometimes you don't even have a signal. If you go in the desert or National park you might have zero signal on your phone, and this home Internet device is using T-Mobile's cellular towers.

It does jump signal tower to tower but it’s meant to stay in place. I disconnect it when driving.

Yes. I have a T-Mobile phone, so this is just an additional $40 with auto pay. Works well, I do 130,000 miles + a year

I pay $40 a month with auto pay option. They sent me the newer model. I put it behind my microwave and works well

Download speed isn’t great but what matters most is your ping/latency to server host. Ranges from 20-90 depending on area. Unlimited yes.
