Another tip: ALWAYS take a pair of flats with you in a bag just in case they get too uncomfortable =) never just leave the house with just your heels, you'll regret it later on and it's good to give your feet a rest
Come on real every day woman do not do the model cat walk I am a trans genders woman and I watch how other woman walk and it is not heel to toe cent walk or Runway cross over we just do not walk like that in real World!
I recently started wearing heels. And keeping them on without taking them off after 5 minutes. During my teens I kept buying high heels of every kind without wearing them, but one month ago just like that I went out and I discovered that they're totally worth it. That kind of pain can be perfectly endured, in my opinion, you just gotta be distracted, and from time to time, sit somewhere. The only thing is: do not wear them if you know for sure you'll have to walk. Wear them at a pub, a bar or a restaurant, or something fancy with sofas and stuff like that. At least that's what I've experienced! Another thing: practice, practice and practice again, and most of all: be confident and believe in your ability to wear them! 😘
Pan Cakes Scotland is in Europe tho. lol but yes it's everywhere in Europe because they want to keep the more old streets and roads as possible so it's a torture especially in Paris and old famous cities in france
Your tips are quite helpful. I was walking toe to heel and it was painful and I felt like I do not have the balance after I watched your videos I tried heel-to-toe walking and it was fine, less painful. Thank you very much
When terrain is just too treacherous, I turn around and walk backwards down it in side to side zig zags on the balls of my feet. That's circumstantial though. :/
Of all the times for my mother to walk into my room, she picked the... Relatively least negative one. Cheers Amie, my cosplay is going to be on point thanks to you!
I’m 5 feet tall. Heels made me feel so confident for a lot of my life. Now that I’m 50, I’m all about comfort, and if I do a heel, it’s a wedge. Word of warning, if your second toe is longer than your big toe and/or you live in high heels, you’ll likely end up with hammer toes over time.
Always get a heel that is enclosed a tad larger. Get gel insoles... use these to take up the extra room. As your walking I can guarantee your feet will swell. By the end of the evening you may take out the inserts for extra room. Keep balance on the ball of your feet, do not balance on heel. Ummm I danced in heels daily. I do feet exercises to strength my ankles and feet. I danced professionally for over 10 years. Ballet and point was my favorite. If you’re wanting to have stronger muscles in the feet and legs I suggest a ballet work out for the feet. It’s so difficult to go from heels to flats. The foot is so stretched. I would always keep an over sized wooly boot to slip into after any shows. Ice my feet when home. It was painful but sooo worth it! With practice and strengthening your muscles, you can find that you can do anything in any shoe you put on, even run without harming your ankles or falling.
I've been wearing heels since my mother gave me her red pumps to play in when I was 4 yr old. Don't know why but they were my favorite toy lol. Yes I's a straight male that has been wearing heels all my life. Thank you for this awesome video.
I had my graduation 6 years ago and wore wedges. My feet was sweating and I had to walk up a ramo to get my diploma. I made it fine. Looked really awkward in my picture because I was worrying so much. Just try to stay calm. And that's all u need.
I would say the most important tip is to make sure the stiletto part of the sole is covered in rubber, leather or any other non slip material. If you walk heel to toe and the heel tip is made of plastic or vinyl, you can easily go flying on a slippery or polished floor.
ThePeaceHippy101 we love that video! So we revamped it, this time with pointy heels! Adding some other helpful tips like the gel insoles, how to know if your heels are too tall and other up-to-date heel tips ;) Watch our other helpful videos too!
love the tips!- flats Are a must, and the alternative to those Fantastic & Beautiful heels as they usually are easily concealed in a clutch and a perfect "look" rather than going barefooted,
Samantha Joy Just wear the heels you love :) Why would you be 'too tall" because some boys/girls tell you so?Ignore that, you be you ;) Don't be afraid to flaunt your height by adding some more. Want to look even taller? Get some maxi-skirts with those heels aswell
Samantha Joy Hi! you can always wear kitten heels if you're afraid to look too tall or you can stick with heels that usually do not have a platform, like single sole heels. These pointy heels in the video are actually great examples of single sole heels! Just choose the 1-3 inch heel range :) You can look at different celebrity fashion inspirations like taylor swift, karlie kloss, tyra banks, etc :) But ultimately, wear them with confidence!
Is there any video showing how to achieve a quieter walk at a non-modeling speed/normal pace? No matter the height or thickness of the heel, my walk is overly loud like an army on parade. I do the heel-to-toe step, yet there's still a lot of noise. What can reduce noise?
reasonablechica I think you're just hyper aware of the sound you make because you are self conscious of it. don't worry about it, try and be confident and just work it c: ta
That's how all heels sound and even some flat shoes for men and women. I was watching a video about a multi million dollar house viewing and the guys touring it, were wearing flat shoes that would make a lot of noise as they walked through the house.
When I walk, even when I'm barefoot, the floor under me is literally shaking and you can hear the thud like an elephant is walking towards you. It's weird because I'm a really small thin woman 😂 I used to be self concsious and tried to walk quietly but when someone told me how confident my walk looks I didn't care about changing it anymore. I'm graduating from uni next month and I cant wait for everyone to look for the elephant in the room
I broke my ankle when I was kid and since I've been really scared of wearing heels but now that I'm not a kid anymore I'll try them😁 thanks for the video ❤
I have some other tips lmao 1- If you're using a dress, USE A SHORTS UNDERNEATH (maybe those with stretch so they will not get uncomfortable. If you fall you at least will not show anything 2- Never ever use a corset+skirt+high heels. If you fall, you'll show everything + you'll might get seriously hurt if using a corset. Go to: skirt + heels/corset + heels/ corset + skirt
Why am I watching this, when I can even dance on point (professional ballet dancer here) hahaha of course I can raise my feet higher, than the heel. But I think I will show this to my best friend, because she cannot walk in high heels. Thx for this video. 💖
I don't follow this rule exclusively; ESPECIALLY when walking downhill, I ALWAYS walk toe to heel as it gives more balance. In fact, depending on how steep downhill I use all toe and barely let the heel touch to give more sturdy support--- same for uneven terrains. Yet, this requires more strength in your calf muscles which all don't have ijs
Girl I have stilettos sitting in my closet what if you have discomfort in your calves or your flat footed is their anything you can do to get around that
MissEllby You can start small then gradually go up a heel. I'm pretty sure you'll walk stunningly in those 4 inch ones once you've got that 2 inch ones down!
In high heels I feel that I can fly away. I am a beautiful princess in high heels. That's the moment when I can embrance my sensitive, delicate, feminine side. I love it so much, it's better, different world.
15 and have to wear super high heels like these and ive never worn heels in my entire life.. here to me practising for the next week until the day comes
Tbh I love heels so much, I mean. It will match your outfits and it looked so cute and elegant but sometimes, heels are annoying because it will really hurt your foot that's why I stopped wearing heels and always wear shoes or flat sandals. I really adore those people who can walk with heels because I think it's a big hassle to do so but if you really think that you're comfortable with it then do it.
Another thing I've heard is that leather soled heels are less painful than rubber or synthetic soles because leather soles are more flexible. Thoughts on that?
Usually I just wear flat soled shoes but I do love the way heels make my legs look and walk. But my feet often slip out while I'm walking when when they fit well? Must be something I'm doing.
Just FYI, lots of brands now make what they call "fold up" ballet shoes that roll up as small as say, a folding wallet. Easy to carry in your purse if you are carrying one. Not so useful if you are going dancing and don't want to carry a purse anyway. Of course, you could dance longer if you swapped out your heels for flats at least some of the time.
Wow girl I don't know how you did those fake falls at the beginning without actually breaking your ankle lol good job
dominique007 probably photoshopped it or something it’s amazing what they do these days lols
This is easy
I can in easy way walk in high heels.
Another tip: ALWAYS take a pair of flats with you in a bag just in case they get too uncomfortable =) never just leave the house with just your heels, you'll regret it later on and it's good to give your feet a rest

it's ok if you live in America. the pavements (sidewalks) are smoother and more even. in Scotland it's so difficult to wear heels lol

The problem isnt walking its walking downhill and on different terrains 😂😂😂
exactly lmao
Cute
the problem is balance and poise.
When terrain is just too treacherous, I turn around and walk backwards down it in side to side zig zags on the balls of my feet. That's circumstantial though. :/
There is no problem, walking in high heels is so easy.

Walking in heels with no arch
HAHAHAHHA OMG you made my night!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
I start to be in love with high heels already when I was very young. Now I am 15 years old and I start to walk in them and I love it.
I've been wearing heels since my mother gave me her red pumps to play in when I was 4 yr old. Don't know why but they were my favorite toy lol. Yes I's a straight male that has been wearing heels all my life. Thank you for this awesome video.
My first pair of heels were 5in pointy toe stilettos when I was 14. It took some practice, but eventually I got it down!
Thank you, very helpful. I'm just starting in heals and I have already hurt my ankle
High heels are so beautiful, they make me happy.
Helpful tips for someone just starting out with heels, especially for climbing up and down with them!
Very useful. Definitely recommend this to all of us high heel beginners.
