I have some trauma in my past Im worried might be set off too if it was really bad. Have you watched/heard that video? Sorry to ask but its driving me crazy wondering and an answer to that would help. I was actually kind of bummed out yesterday when I realized how long it had been since I'd watched a Cry Plays video, so I re-watched a couple of old ones. Then I wake up this morning to see a new upload. I'm genuinely so happy right now. Welcome back, man.
Yeeeesssss. This is just the kind of content I need right now: gorgeous, heartwarming game with awesome visuals and soothing music, with a super-chill, calming commentary on top.
It's so weird after so many years passed, to come back to a video and feel so incredibly sad. Its inexcusable what happened but Cry was someone i could always chill out to during some really fucked up times. It's such a bittersweet feeling.
Fun fact: I was in an accident that left me in a coma; when I woke up I no longer could sleep because when I closed my eyes I saw flashbacks instead of black. Using Cry's playthrough of Ori and the Blind Forest, I retrained myself to sleep as it was the one thing that both had my full attention but also was so calming I could still drift off. So thanks to that, now when I close my eyes I see this games world. And I will always be thankful to Cry and this game for that gift ❤️
@@PreferablyPurple - Exactly! When I heard him say that, I got an ear to ear smile and knew I had to say something. Cry has done more for my recovery than any one doctor could. Over the years I used his collective videography here to retrain myself how to truly live again. Ori and the Blind Forest was the first in a long journey. It took over 7 years but I am finally completely healed, mind and body 😃 I could never thank him enough for simply being exactly who his is ❤

Yeeeesssss. This is just the kind of content I need right now: gorgeous, heartwarming game with awesome visuals and soothing music, with a super-chill, calming commentary on top.
It's so weird after so many years passed, to come back to a video and feel so incredibly sad. Its inexcusable what happened but Cry was someone i could always chill out to during some really fucked up times.
It's such a bittersweet feeling.
Fun fact: I was in an accident that left me in a coma; when I woke up I no longer could sleep because when I closed my eyes I saw flashbacks instead of black. Using Cry's playthrough of Ori and the Blind Forest, I retrained myself to sleep as it was the one thing that both had my full attention but also was so calming I could still drift off. So thanks to that, now when I close my eyes I see this games world. And I will always be thankful to Cry and this game for that gift ❤️

@@PreferablyPurple - Exactly! When I heard him say that, I got an ear to ear smile and knew I had to say something. Cry has done more for my recovery than any one doctor could. Over the years I used his collective videography here to retrain myself how to truly live again. Ori and the Blind Forest was the first in a long journey. It took over 7 years but I am finally completely healed, mind and body 😃 I could never thank him enough for simply being exactly who his is ❤

Gosh, when I heard Ori: and the Will of the Wisps was coming out, I fondly remembered your playthrough of the first game and knew if I watched anybody else play it, it just wouldn't be the same. I gasped when I saw the thumbnail! I'm SO glad you're working hard to put this series on UA-cam rather than streaming it. Thank you so much, Cry! Hope you're taking care out there.

I've been having a really hard time socializing with people and that makes me feel really lonely all the time. These past few months I've been rewatching all of cry's playthrough. Cry always feel like a friend to me and his videos helped me through a lot. I thought i was the only one who love you and your videos this much, even to the point where i got teary eyed when i heard "hey guys.."
But it definitely is not just me.
