It’s like walking through an old house you grew up in. Things changed. We saw the world for what it is. A dark, cold, and lonely place. But despite it all, the remnants of good memories remain. And I’d just like to relive them again… if only for a moment.
An apt analogy. I found myself coming back to this video because this series was/is that impactful to me. This video taught me that it’s okay to just chill the fuck out. Take a breather.
While it’s bittersweet, it does me good to remember that the community this channel built had such intelligent, interesting, and amazing individuals. I’m sure that includes yourself.

I love Cry's commentary. There's not too much screaming and he's pretty quirky. My favorite commentator, definitely.
Yeah for games that are more story based I definitely come to him but other games I go to others, not saying he is bad at those love him in that too

I always go to Cry for this shit. He's not to loud or dominant with commentary but he's quirky and funny. His voice really fits into the series better than most. It's slightly calming and atmospheric.

You know you've been watching to many horror games when your waiting for someone to jump scare Cry when he was climbing the rocks.

Not even 20 minutes in to the game and I'm dying at the sight of Cry rapidly turning a lamp on and off again. This is gonna be a great binge watch.
fun fact, in the intro, if you say "you're pretty" she replies "you're pretty too." later when she draws the main character and you chose the pose like a model it states "Julia was right. you are very pretty" lol
Cry's voice whenever he narrates things drives me crazy he makes the already atmospheric game have even more beauty. After having already watched another person's playthrough of this, it hurts me knowing my predictions were right.
--SPOILERS--
Go REALLY pay attention to a playthrough, then watch a first episode again. Look at all the things Julia is about, and remember their relations to the dialogue in the playthrough of "firewatch." The kids, the drawing, everything. Throughout the whole game, the player is just Henry slowly losing Julia more and more. The woman in the other tower can't be reached, she's far away just like his wife. Your day 1 begins as she disappears. The husband turns from Henry into Ned as the kid can't live without a mother. She draws you, Julia loved to draw. The pet, just like your turtle, sticks around as a memory of what you once had. He becomes all you have. Eventually she leaves him forever, permanently. He has to make the choice, move on and get on the helicopter, or continue to stay in the forest and stay where he is stuck in time? Maybe it's just a metaphor for him choosing to go to the afterlife with Julia, to be "rescued."
Don't bother bashing on these ideas as they're random 3 a.m. comments and I could care less about your negativity; I just think this game is beautiful in physical, literal, and metaphorical ways. Even the time she comes home late and you argue seems to transfer over, except you get to make another choice on your actions. Although, if you have more cool information, ideas, or positive comments, go ahead. I'll gladly read them.

Cry is so cool and so humble whenever he speaks. I've watched him since my primary days and kept up with his ungodly amount of content up until college, but it's always his content that makes me feel more at ease no matter what with the presence of his voice. And to this day, I wish and hope for nothing more than just pure happiness and love for this guy. You rock, Cry! You rock my world!

I used to live in area like this, and this game is bringing back all sorts of nostalgia. I especially remember the winter, what with the occasional snow, and saving some of it to make ice cream in the summer. Also, there was a lookout at one of the highest peaks, but that was across a ravine and I never got a chance to see it up close.
cry is literally the best, because of his voice and how he plays things, I almost fell asleep.
