Just saying, the series is going to get even better from this point :) Meanwhile over on Patreon we're doing an anonymous Q&A video so you can ask us ANYTHING you want about Kombi Life and we'll answer in a video. I can tell you from the questions that we've already received that it's going to be a good one! TAKE PART: www.patreon.com/posts/anonymous-q-10319348
I love your dog. And the whole trip. But that bus would drive me mad with all its breakdowns. I get annoyed just having to do an oil/filter change... Great video.
Not only do I get to see all the beautiful and interesting things in nature in each channel, I get to see things I never thought I'd ever see, like a dog eating a slice of watermelon! How cool is that?!
This series keeps getting better (and Alaska even cooler, which defies comprehension, dat dog is a legend); this is the one channel I drop anything I'm doing to watch a new episode when it gets published. Thanks for sharing Ben!
I live three hours south of the Oregon/ California border. It's a blessing to be surrounded by such pristine, natural beauty. So glad y'all were able to find these gifts. Blessings of peace and abundance to all.
Thank you for showing all generations that life can still be explored in a manner that takes no expense; just the love of the roads. Your video gives a positive aspect to children that it is important to “play outside” for life should be lived live; not on a flat screen T.V. Your adventures are a positive nature to which this world needs more of and the understanding that you can thrive from the natures of the world. Clothes optional is a choice of freedom, not a hindrance of a negative nature. Beauty is more than skin deep; it is the depth of the wonders of the world, live from the adventurous nature of one's heart. Keep chasing your dreams and share with us all the new paths your dreams, in your destinations, take you. Thank you.
I camped across the USA several times. So glad I did it through the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Some things I saw and camped in probably aren’t there anymore.
Love this series, just subscribed... my wife and I have been living in Bend for 18 months, every weekend we go adventure and we have barely scratched the surface... this may be the best place on earth.
Seeing the Puget Sound really makes me homesick. I hope you get to spend more time in the PNW someday. So much to see and do. :) Sending hugs from our adventures currently in Virginia!
18:32 I live in Seattle, which is right next to the Puget Sound and it was charming to hear it pronounced that way. It's "pyue-jet", not "pudge-et". No hate, just kind of funny. :)
I'm not a dog lover, but Alaska has to be the best %*%^ dog I've ever seen. That is a dog, I would not mined owning!! And that is such a keeper, for you when this part of your adventure ends.
i love the videos and i also think u should do a series like what ur doing just on the us or australia or many months exploring 1 country type of thing i would like to see that. have fun and ill keep watchin to see where ur off to next
Another great vid, Ben...I liked the slightly longer play time as well! Looking forward to all the Alaska footage! Hope you're fitting some play time in, between all the editing sessions. ATB
Hi Ben, and Sara. thanks for the travelogue up the left coast. I'm a son of Vancouver and looking forward to what you post next. currently looking for a job in BC so I can move back there. Sure hope to hook up with you sometime. Missed you last time at McBride. regards, Brian
This is really good mate. Everything about your show is really awesome. I hope you reach the million subscriber mark really soon. You deserve it mate. Cheers!!!
15:51 Only took 3 seasons and 10 episodes to recognise something (except maybe half a second from Costa Rica but I couldn't confirm it). God I miss Oregon, I used to go out to those falls and visit the Bonneville Dam at least every year I lived out there. I think it's been nearly a decade since I've went back. Little harder to visit now that I live in Europe.
bend looks awesome.... all of oregon really, I'm hoping to explore Oregon real soon... maybe this summer there is going to be a total solar eclipse in August and Oregon is in the full eclipse viewing zone
How FUNNY! You were in my home town of Estacada.... I grew up going to Bagby Hot Springs.... We used to party out at Bagby almost every weekend in High School! LMAO.... See you also went through Troutdale! Did you go to the Power Station?
Ahhhh...I needed this vid! Missing the PNW as we traded in our beautiful northern sites for the Gulf Coast. If you are ever traveling in the Southern US let us know and we'll treat you to some gator meat. 🐊 Give hugs to Alaska for us!
Eh that's our ancestral homelands , you get to see the elwha river? Lake crescent is nice but the no dog rule is nonsense. If you come back through I'd love to give you guys the indigenous tour of the area.
First, love this channel.. Love the trip.. Love the adventure. I hate that you were on the Pacific side and not on the Atlantic.. I live in Pennsylvania, and would have loved to meet you bro. You make us all want to live in the kombi life!
lol Been to that Same Gas station and Toketee hot springs a Few Times some Years Back I Lived in Glide Oregon for a short time Miss that Place! stuck in the Heat in southern CA, right now. but soon we will be Camping a few weeks near the Northumpqua river Hope we end up soaking at Toketee again..
I just watched all your great vids with only 5 left. I had been waiting to see you going up the coast of Washington where Westport has great surfing and even better during the winter when the storms roll in. But no you blew right through without so much of a glimpse, but I get it, you're pressed for time. How sad, you don't know what you've missed. Still love your vids though!
I am loving your videos.....pissed away almost an entire day watching. So....you have seen the entire West coast.....how about checking out the rest of the US via interstate I80....West coast all the way to the east coast...thru MY state of Nebraska..... you have taken that bus more places that I probably wouldn't of gone, I love it! So do you know how many miles you have driven?
Awesome series! really encouraging to travel. Which programme did you use for these videos because they are great and I would love to be able to do this as well?
maybe you already know of this ...but you can order parts online and have them shipped to the town your in in a worse case...forgive me if you have done this or knew about it...im a new veiwer... i used to travel and do airbrushing out of my van for many years i really mis it ...good and yeah even the bad...FAIR WINDS MY NEW FRIENDS!!
Id like to see you vw bus but im in kentucky id also like to be able to drive it for a few miles to see if its truly the next vehicle that I would want to purchase or salvage from a vehicle graveyard ... theres a few of the old vw "hippy" busses or vw vans 70's models here but havent seen any kombis around here
This series seems to be overshadowed by the unreliability of the VW motors. I had 4 VWs & all were garbage. The design was for cheap vehicles in the 1930s, not today's traveling adventures.
Hi Ben, (& Alaska). I was wondering, If you have a chilean license plate i assume you have also a chilean insurance. But do they really cover anything if you have an accident in alaska for example ? And what about technical inspection, i thouth they also had to be done in chile otherwise they wont give you an insurance ? could you ship capito to europe for example with the chilean insurance going on ? I would wish you good luck with your travel to alaska but i know you already finished the trip :p i realy look forward to next episode ! :D Greetings from belgium !

how old is this video?
The star of the show is the combi, If it did not break down all the time the trip would be boring! as you would not meet all the great people.
Miganarchine didn't they do a giveaway on the van?
yes we did details on our website
Kombi Life
*Shout out to Saara* She did so much filming and even some editing for this episode, there are no ends to that girls talents!

TARA'S BACK...... Tara's gone...... :-(
This series keeps getting better (and Alaska even cooler, which defies comprehension, dat dog is a legend); this is the one channel I drop anything I'm doing to watch a new episode when it gets published. Thanks for sharing Ben!

I camped across the USA several times. So glad I did it through the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Some things I saw and camped in probably aren’t there anymore.

Greetings from belgium !
you need insurance from local brokers. Standard Chilean insurance doesn't cover you outside of the Chile
