I love the creativity and ingenuity! I too will be checking out the How To video. It’s also pretty great that you aren’t height limited either (as high or low as you want to go), it’s extremely light, and doesn’t cost a fortune! Thank you!

Mr. Adkins, please, for the love of all that is holy, do a video showing us how one would build these setups. Please.

your technique is awsome, there really is nothing else like it on UA-cam and in other videos you have proven how fast and efficient it is. You really could market this and create a setup for hunter that would be premade. I am a diy guy myself and really appreciate your taking the time to explain your system. Thanks you are awsome!

Thanks, you've helped me fine tune my climbing system. I used to use a piece of aluminum angle for my feet and stand on both feet. I have switched over to your method of the one foot loop and hook your leg. I think that your method is a lot quieter. I still have 2 loops, just in case I want to stand on both feet.

If you used your lineman’s belt and hooked it into your bridge loop or lineman’s belt loop, you could take your tether off and run it through the loop instead of using carabiners.
    Am I missing anything?

I'd like a build video as well or opportunity to buy a setup.

I'm getting ready to post a video where I state in the beginning of it everything the system consist of. Title of the video is gonna be, two tether climbing practice. As far as selling, I'm actually trying to figure out whether I should market the whole system or not. The problem with trying to sell the whole system, is most saddle hunters already own a saddle and a top tether. Right now I'm leaning more towards just marketing the leg and foot loop because most people can already buy their 18" prusik loops and their 7 1/2 foot tethers. Thanks for the comments and thanks for watching.

The volume is really low. Even with my levels all the way to the max, I can barely hear any of the narration, none of it clearly. Other than that, I think it probably would have been a great video.
    Thanks for the content.
    Keep up the good work.

What was the brand of rope you said you preferred? Are you covering your rope with something where it touches the tree?

I've been using something very similar to this for the past two seasons because it was cheap and got me started in saddle hunting, but I have one safety question for us double-tether climbers. What happens if while you're sliding the loosened main tether up the tree, your foot slips out of the aider? I've mostly felt that the worst that might happen is my fingers/hands get pinched and broken in the girth hitch when all my falling weight closes it around the tree. Have you considered that possibility? Or worse, that the main loop would slip down the tree since you opened it, and you crash to the ground? Or do you think it would catch the bark after a few feet and close up before you hit the ground? Something I ask myself and I want your opinion.

@@jasonphillips1342 I did some reading and it looks like the biggest problem here is making sure that the latch is pointed out wards and not into the tree,,what I understand this small amount of side load is not really a concern,it has something to do with shock on side load and just steady load,,something rock climbers deal with,
But, I did read that a lot of folks that do this,,are going with a particular carabiner, or they are using screw links,,me personally,,I like the fact that going around limbs is alot easier with this method, and I think a good size screw link would b better on my fear factor

@@jasonphillips1342 but also something to think about,,when unhooking,a carabiner closes back shut, a screw link does not,so one would have to b carful when unhooking to go around a limb, probably b best after unscrewing one to take rope out, would b to screw it back shut before fishing through limb or swinging it around tree,,would hate it to come off and head south
