Just ordered one, though shipping being a third of the price definitely was a bit much, but I have been talking about needing a portable jack lately and this fits the bill. Thanks for the tip, Brandon!
The idea I love about it is that the handle to operate the jack is higher up above the bar(I think you said total height is 18") compared to the rogue jack and that wedge, each of those you have to bend over and with the rogue jack you have to push the handle to the floor and then back up again, which is annoying and tiring. The genesis jack seems superior to operate at knee height
This deadlift jack is amazing. I've had 300kg so far loaded up and its no problem. One handed mostly just guiding with the off hand. It takes minimal effort. They figured out shipping to canada to. It still wasn't super cheap but I think around 30$ with minimal customs. More than worth it.
well that sucks. was looking for one. the mini deadlift jack is terrible. cant lift more than 4ish plates plus it moves the bar back so much to use it. Hopefully they fix that shipping issue.
My genesis jack bent under two 45 lb plates while unloading. After contacting customer service and troubleshooting the issue it appears that the problem was that the 3/8 inch foam flooring was too compressive was therefore not supportive enough to use this jack. A firm, non-compressive floor is key to preventing this from happening.
Yes, they were very responsive and refunded me when I returned it to them. I think what happened was that the Jack tilted slightly laterally as the foam beneath it compressed slightly. I’m not sure if it was a design flaw or simply a weak spot in that particular segment. I’ve since changed the flooring at my home gym to a rubberized mat, but I’m sticking with my dead wedge for now.
For the sake of the bar and the weight I find it best to get a full sized jack regardless. Having two points of contact has to be better for the bar and for the stability when loading weights.
I find the only time a full jack is limited is with a deadlift bar with a lot of weight on it, both ends will tend to hand down making it harder to load.
Love your reviews Brandon. Another alternative to using a small plate is to put your lifting belt around the plates and roll them up onto it. It’s not perfect but it solves the potential damage over time issue using change plates, and doesn’t take up any extra space in your gym bag ‘cause you’re gonna pack your belt either way
Really like the video, shows the comparisons and cons! Only recommendations would be to add music in the background possibly, also, fix that white noise that seemed to occur near the end! Other than that, awesome vid!
Ordered one! came out to 115 Canadian, and I have to spend a few hours to go across the border to pick it up because those international shipping rates are not cool. Hope it's worth it
Just ordered one Saturday. Paid $17 for shipping that I couldn’t get out of and not really sure what the shipping was so much since it’s just over a pound. I believe it stated 1-3 days shipping however it is now Monday and it has not been shipped yet¿
dustinmcd91 I think it’s more due to the size and not fitting in a standard box as it comes fully assembled. I believe their cost on average is $13-22. I’ll ask though.
Good review man. Though I don’t lift too heavy, it seems like a great product. Can’t stand wrestling with the 45’s off the floor. Also, is assembly required for this product?
Brandon Campbell Diamond thanks! But with limited space and option to take it with me 2 would small ones would be best. Does the back stand up well on its own without moving? I do a lot of RDL with drop sets so I drop on the mini rogue jack between sets to takes plates off. How well would it work on the jack?
As long as it's on a flat surface it's worked awesome. The only time I've ran into a little bit of trouble is if I have half of the jack on the wood and the other half on the rubber mat b/c they're not the exact same height.
This called for a second comment. One. Funny ass wolverine skits. Was unexpected. Two. This jack seems to get rid of my issue of when you slide on and off. That 19 inches causes it to slides and bites at the wood on my dead platform. I like this more upright jack. May have to grab one.
heres another option....which can be easily disassembled for storage/travel. Cost is around $25. although you still run into the same lack of leverage issue as the rogue mini jack. Which you could just have an additional longer leverage bar attachment for when you need it. www.endofthreefitness.com/how-to-build-a-mini-deadlift-jack/
Vanilla Gorilla convenience can come at a price, which I’m happy to pay for. There’s also been reports of the home made version you link breaking with more than 600lbs.
He's listed in their partners and affiliates section, so they probably reached out to him for advice and testing during the R&D phase. Just a guess though.
Great review and hilarious! 😂😂😂 do u know if there's a warrantee in case manufacture defect? Will they replace or be able to replace parts in an event of it breaking?
If you value your time at Zero, then it's better to DIY. I have the plan/pattern to make a wooden version, but, several hours in, it won't be worth it.
I pre-ordered one, also looks handy in case I need to fight off muggers or just to hit random people like children or old people (or kittens playing with string) 😊
Great video. Also at least you can take comfort in the fact that you're not the first fully grown adult living out his fantasies in a basement wearing a superhero costume...
"With the mini jack, I couldn't even get it up. 😢"
-Brandon Campbell
😂😂😂
u know me.
not even 30 seconds in the video and already we got dad jokes
love you brandon
Sanjin Pilepić making up for lost time.
Out of all of them it is by far the best looking. It looks like you could very easily beat someone off the platform for doing curls.
one way to find out...
accurate
Love it! The worst part about deadlifting is getting the weights on and off the bar :|
Andrew Loucks leg press same, that's my cardio done lol
Boring shit plus the back hurts while trying to rest
This is why I take so long between sets lol
agreed!
Worst part is actually deadlifting.
ahhh, so this is what Candito was showing in his IG story
They sent it to a few people, including Ogus.
Just ordered one, though shipping being a third of the price definitely was a bit much, but I have been talking about needing a portable jack lately and this fits the bill. Thanks for the tip, Brandon!
I wasn't aware the shipping cost until some mentioned it. I passed it on to the Genesis Jack team.
Bro. You're SuperHero costume game is off the hook. Mad props. Literally.
Had to spice some of these up

I was surprised at how well it worked as a lever.
Seems Like the best of the bunch, only thing I can think of is the dead wedge can be used with specialty bars like a trap bar or axle bar.
ah yeah true
This deadlift jack is amazing. I've had 300kg so far loaded up and its no problem. One handed mostly just guiding with the off hand. It takes minimal effort. They figured out shipping to canada to. It still wasn't super cheap but I think around 30$ with minimal customs. More than worth it.
appreciate the insight
International shipping 70$ 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Where can I get one in Canada?
Spotmebruv ! Had one in checkout until I saw that...high price for shipping to Canada
well that sucks. was looking for one. the mini deadlift jack is terrible. cant lift more than 4ish plates plus it moves the bar back so much to use it. Hopefully they fix that shipping issue.
Damn lol. Hope they can work out shipping costs.

Interesting, I haven't had any issues with mine. Have you reached out to them?

Lost it at the wolverine part, watch out Hugh jackman
Now only if I were a huge jackedman

Ah you know I've seen that but never tried it. I have white lettering on my belt and I'm afraid that would get it super dirty.
wow that is the most entertaining deadlift jack video ever made by man or god.
OR MUTANT
Really like the video, shows the comparisons and cons! Only recommendations would be to add music in the background possibly, also, fix that white noise that seemed to occur near the end! Other than that, awesome vid!
Thanks for taking a look. I used to add in background music but I think it ends up taking away more than it adds!
Wasn't sure about this jack when pictures started surfacing, but really surprised at how well it seems to work
Same!
I just ordered mine, idk if it was the sick utility that convinced me or you in the Wolverine costume wacking it. Now to play the waiting game...
Haha awesome
Ordered one! came out to 115 Canadian, and I have to spend a few hours to go across the border to pick it up because those international shipping rates are not cool. Hope it's worth it
I passed that info on to them!

I asked them about shipping and they told me it's due to the dimensions of the box.
Love seeing Steve's hard work be praised. Guy deserves it and Ciara is also a super star from the business side of things!
Real solid job all around!
AWHHHH THANK YOU!
Shipping is $20 on this, seems a bit much for something under 2 pounds.
dustinmcd91 I think it’s more due to the size and not fitting in a standard box as it comes fully assembled. I believe their cost on average is $13-22. I’ll ask though.
Brandon Campbell Diamond fair enough. Still brings it in under the normal price will be, and I think pretty close to the Rogue mini jack.
Have you tried it the Back widow? It’s for lay pull downs, seated rows, t bar rows w/ barbell or dumbbell, and to lift up Barbell to add plates
I haven't!
Weight, weight, hold up. You're dead lifting 500 pounds but worried about if your jack is light weight or not?
this jack is targeted at those who would likely bring it to a gym.
This is the best review for the item. Will buy
It's a solid jack!
Looks really good. Nice review, thanks Brandon!
Thanks Mike
$90 isn't even bad. Plus I can support a smaller business. Deal.
i think it's well worth it!
I love it. what a simple smart design. The guy who thought it up should be snatched up by rogue!
Def works better than expected.
Very nice! Will definitely be pick one up.
Really been easy to use so far.
Placed my pre-order right after watching this review!
hope you like it!
Good review man. Though I don’t lift too heavy, it seems like a great product. Can’t stand wrestling with the 45’s off the floor.
Also, is assembly required for this product?
ships assembled!
Primo man. Merry Christmas
same to you and yours.
Are you worried that maybe the unprotected metal on the jack might.. jack up your floors? Scratch/dent the wood
Def a concern I passed along!
Dammit you've sold me and just like the Rogue Jack, I'm gonna get 2
I think they may come out with a full size version down the road.
Brandon Campbell Diamond thanks! But with limited space and option to take it with me 2 would small ones would be best. Does the back stand up well on its own without moving? Feliz Navidad to you and your family dawg!
right back at ya!
When you popped up in the wolverine costume I cried from laughter!😂😂
That wasn't me, it was Hugh Jackman!
Instant like for the awesome Wolverine bits
Hah figured it might add some flair.
Just what I was looking for. Thank you.
Thanks David
Man, here I was figuring out a way to make my own version of this from scrap and you went and told me that it was a Homebrew operation.
whoops :)
Here in Nigeria we use a 6 wheeler track Jack... just that weighs already 500lbs
nice.
This called for a second comment. One. Funny ass wolverine skits. Was unexpected. Two. This jack seems to get rid of my issue of when you slide on and off. That 19 inches causes it to slides and bites at the wood on my dead platform. I like this more upright jack. May have to grab one.
I will be getting rid of my mini jack. My one suggestion to them was with the feet, as it can potentially damage softer wood.
Awesome review Brandon! I was thinking about doing some review type of videos on my channel!
go for it!
I went to website and nothing plz tell me they still available
They are
Brandon Campbell Diamond where?
.... Kinda wished I knew about this when my grandparents were asking what I wanted for Christmas.
lol

Aluminum, posted on the 23rd? Is this just a festivus pole?
now time for the feats of strength
Wow... Wolverine at Brandon Basement!
Hope to have more guest stars in the future.
How is it on your platform or “stall mats”. The bottom of the jack looks pretty aggressive?
Can eat soft wood, but no real issue on the mats.
Hey, Brandon, I was wondering if this jack would work with a trap bar, since that is what I am using for deadlifts?
As long as there's space, I would think so.
Did the genesis jack put a small dent or chip in your platform?
It didn't.
My man busting out the wolverine costume.
Big thanks to hugh jackman for stopping by
How do you obtain products on pre-order to sample them? Just wondering what the process is. Thanks
He's listed in their partners and affiliates section, so they probably reached out to him for advice and testing during the R&D phase. Just a guess though.
I just ordered mine and my order # is 104. I hope another 96 of you hurry up and order yours!
I've known Steve for awhile, he reached out to me and asked if I'd want to review it and give feedback.
Being a YT star.
Do we need 65 jacks to deadlift?
we need 65 deadlifts to jack
Brandon Campbell Diamond thats americanoe lol
Damn, definitely a must.
Surprised how well it worked.
did rogue buy them out?
No, Rogue sells other products in some instances besides their own.
What is the shirt your wearing?
a 3/4 sleeve shirt from Super Training
You’re the most humble “UA-camr” 😝
Haha I'm as much of a UA-camr as you are.
Low top Reebok power shoes ?
Yeah, no longer make them though.
Love the home gym vids
Kyle koster appreciates dude!
Holy crap lol. Was not expecting that!
Nice of Hugh to stop by.
3.55 you sound like the grinch lol.
Great video and excellent picture quality too 👍
Thanks Steve
Great review and hilarious! 😂😂😂 do u know if there's a warrantee in case manufacture defect? Will they replace or be able to replace parts in an event of it breaking?
I believe there should be!
What about tearing up your platform, Brandon? Is this a problem?
If you use a softer wood it may leave some impressions, but it won't tear it up.
I want one ASAP....and can someone point me to a beginners deadlift routine I want to be deadlifting massive weight by next Jan
If you're a beginner you shouldn't be focusing on just one lift IMO!
Brandon Campbell Diamond so the most weight one time?
I was thinking about pre ordering this thing but once I noticed that the shipping cost to Finland is 60 dollars I decided to pass.
The wolverine scenes are gold
Thanks for taking a look dude.
Great review.
Thanks dude!
where's the x3 rack?
dismantled in the corner.
you got a plan for that baby yet?
Jim Krajick friend is coming to get it and the yoke in a week or two.
I needed this in my life. Any1 know where i can get 1. The link that he provided no longer sell.
I just updated the link.
LoooL awesome stuff again Brandon!! :D "is it.............ADAMANTIUM!?!" :D
Thanks Tim!
And the award for UA-cam entertainer of the year goes to...
ayyy
Are you hinting that you are the next Wolverine in the MCU? I dig it.
they already did the old logan :(
Omg😂😂😂😂😂 Thank you Brandon that humor made me laugh a little on a shitty day
Hope it's going better dude!
Appareny Rogue thought it was a great design as well!
Love the video nonetheless.
appreciate you taking the time.
Love your reviews Brandon. Thanks for taking the time to mess with new cool gym equipment so we don't have to :-P.
Thanks for taking a look!
Hahahaha! This was epic! Also you’re the best reviews of stuffzzzz dood
Appreciated!
but why is it so espensive? seems to easy to even DIY
It's easy to laser cut aluminum?
If you value your time at Zero, then it's better to DIY. I have the plan/pattern to make a wooden version, but, several hours in, it won't be worth it.
I like the jack but I'm not strong enough for the jack the be necessary
lol good motivation!
I pre-ordered one, also looks handy in case I need to fight off muggers or just to hit random people like children or old people (or kittens playing with string) 😊
Hah def could do some damage.
Its okay tho... Not a lot of people move 1000 lbs.. But yeah that new one looks great!
Thanks for taking a look
I'm not the first one to say it. I Clicked on the link and was ready to buy, but $20 for shipping...too rich for my blood.
I passed that on to them!
@3:42 "I couldn't even get it up" -Brandon
u know me
Genesis Jack....somehow it reminded me of the Sega Genesis.
Btw...that Wolverine though. XD
To the Paradise City on a NightTrain! It’s got BLAST processing.
Not to mention it did what Nintendon't. XD
Yoooooo you HAVE TO make more content like this 😂
Lol we'll see.
That looks badass
Works really well!
I need this jack!.... And also a wolverine costume!
lol $20 on ebay
Time to start a Comedy channel mate, the futures bright!
Thanks Alex.
How does this video have any dislikes?!
magneto does not approve
Is this video gonna double as an audition tape to become the new Wolverine?
They already did an old logan movie, i'm out of luck.
could have made this under 2:00
Just b/c you can, doesn't mean you should :)
Lol I was not expecting Wolverine
Neither was I, glad he could stop by.
I didn't know you were friends with Hugh jackman
Friend of the channel
Why do his eyes seem crooked
you tell me
Perhaps we all dont have superior genetics compared to you?
$60 US shipping to canada ):
damn
I'd like it if it lifted the whole bar off the ground.
I think they plan on eventually doing a full size version
" Is it......ADAMANTIUM?!?!?!?!" Never change Brandon, never change.
:)
Great video. Also at least you can take comfort in the fact that you're not the first fully grown adult living out his fantasies in a basement wearing a superhero costume...
pics or it didn't happen.
LMFAO this video was priceless dude, great overview man!
Thanks Dave!
3:50 LOLL savage
