Thanks for sharing your perspective, it matched my own experience. I forgot VP for the first round and by round 2 I only had a couple of demons left. I'm looking forward to my next session.
@@Graelcase Yeah it’s definitely something I’m putting I’m putting in my feedback, but it’s really cool to be in a spot where you can see all the see all these cool options before they’re dialled in.
Luckily they already made some updates to the Play Test kit to streamline monsters and Directors management of resources easier which they experienced some of your issues at GenCon themselves.
And the rounds go quicker, from what I've seen. Since folks choose when to go and don't have to worry about having a nothing turn, that makes things smoother. Plus the power names are fun!

Right! I also forgot about my VP until it was pretty much too late.

Sounds a lot like everything that was great about 4E, with a simpler skill mechanic system.

There is nothing great about 4e lol
It's pretty different, running on a completely different engine. (Power rolls as opposed to D20 DCs then damage roll)
