Hi there! Could you please one day recommend books and papers that are compatible with frixion? I've had fancy planners and when i erase some words, sadly, the back also vanish
I remember during our Robotics Club Meeting, the teacher told me to write something down. I grabbed a piece of Kokuyo Loose-leaf Sarasara paper from my backpack and when I was writing it down, my classmate literally ran his finger across the paper and said, "Why the heck is this paper so smooth." Then he passed it down to like four other people and they were all fighting over the paper. Then someone got out a regular piece of paper and was like, "WHY IS THIS ONE SO ROUGH!?!"
I love how Stephanie gets genuinely excited about the products. She said she was a JetPens fan before working there and it shows. This video is quite timely. Just delivered today was my JetPens order including Kokuyo Campus Loose Leaf Sarasara - Dotted 7 mm Rule. I'm looking forward to a dot-grid-like paper that doesn't make me write lines of text in 5 mm. Plus, the width of the open squares is also 7 mm, so I'm hoping this will be big enough for careful kanji writing as well.
I was litteraly dreaming that you would do this video. I have been wondering between the different Campus notebooks, and in the last days I have been searching to see if you had made a video about it ! You are answering my wishes 😊
As much as I love Japanese and Korean stationery, unfortunately a lot of schools insist on the common American notebooks and binders. I think this is because it's what the teachers have for their own supplies of what fits for their things (like how Kokuyo's hole punching doesn't align with American 3-ring hole punching) but also because it helps minimize kids from causing drama over other kids having different or better supplies than them. I wish more schools would be more open-minded to different stationery and supplies like this.
I just setup my Kokuyo campus binder. It is amazing! The paper quality is brilliant. Uni Jetstream pen performed well. Smooth writing experience. A silent clasp is nice feature. Happy I bought binder. Japanese stationery is world class.
I adore the Campus 26 hole smart ring binders. The paper feels great with my pens with no bleed. I dedicate a book to each work project and color code with the see-through covers. Mixing different page styles in each project book (and movable pages too!) is a dream come true for me. Yay Jetpens!
im literally so hesitant to use them because they feel so high quality and i absolutely love writing on them, but the paper looks way too nice to be writing messy notes on them
I’ve been looking at Campus for notebooks because I like the paper but didn’t want to give my ability to move my notes about. I didn’t know they had a binder notebook and study schedule sheets!!!! I might have to buy that now!!
Kokuyo's paper is my 2nd favorite for fountain pens after Tomoe River and my 2nd favorite for gel pens after Leuchtturm1917. What's great about it though is even though it is not the best for either type of ink, it is *perfect* for mixing because it is excellent for all types of ink. Plus the soft rings are so fun
All Kokuyo products are readily available in Taiwan, but more expensive than locally manufactured products. For me it'll be interesting to see how they compare. Thanks for your review.
While the ruled and graph paper are great, I've recently discovered my love for the blank Sarasara paper as well. great for illustrations and diagrams and more freedom for how big or small you want to write. I use it for studying chemistry and anatomy.
Sarasara loose leaf paper has been my favorite Kokuyo stationary for a while. I can have different sized notebooks, can easily withstand my fountain pen and I can rearrange my notes.
I love Kokuyo Campus notebooks so much! Just wish they had the slide binders and sarasara paper when I was in high school - 1983 to be exact, lol. Still, these are great for journaling and for keeping up with all my WIP's. My fountain pens love the paper. By the way, Stephanie is really a lot of fun to listen to, but everyone sounds excited to work for JetPens. I know I would be, lol 😁😊.
Kokuyo producing a variety of sheet sizes & thickness takes into consideration most people's needs whether they're children, students, or professionals. Also, we have different handwritings & paper pressure. My handwriting on smooth paper is not precise & just runs out of control. Cool pastel covers call to you...end up buying one even if I have nothing write about...
I personally like using the sarasara b5 loose leaf combined with a uni kuro auto rotating pencil as it feels super smooth and writes well which makes my sloppy handwriting more legibel
Oh it was super nice to know the differences of the slide and smart binders! I really love the idea of adding papers as you go, so I'm not wasting paper. Light weight notebooks would have been wonderful... Where were you guys when I was in college lol T_T?
Even in the US, $6 for a notebook? You can get 6 at that price in Staples. Though it’s probably the aesthetics and superior quality that you pay for *sigh* I want
Dear Jetpens, I know you guys carry some Korean Pens like the Dong A Miffy pen but I was wondering if you guys might carry the FX Cronix, the Monami FX Zeta, and more similar pens? Korea has good quality pens too. 😉
Could you please do a video only explaining the Sarasara and Shikkari paper in detail? What mean each color? and which size B5, A4 is available for each color? All Kokuyo Campus Loose Leaf Paper. It would be great
I always love using Kokuyo Campus until now, the paper was so smooth and even the binder look appealing to me. I mostly use B5 because of my handwriting style I'm planning to order my first stationery from Jetpens, err, I live pretty far and still in the student year so yeah
hi!! your timestamp labels in the video description are flipped for the "Kokuyo Campus Smart Ring Binder Notebooks" and "Kokuyo Campus Slide Binders" thank you for the video!!
hopefully i'll get one of these someday..! also, is this V.O. the same person from the random pens(??) video? i hope she can relax more in her readings, she sounded nervous!
This isn’t an elegant solution, and it will only be useful to cat owners. I buy cases of small cat food cans from Chewy, and the little cardboard boxes that each case comes in are the perfect size for B5 sheets. I store my packages of refills in them, along with some old class notes. They also hold the B5 Smart Binder Notebooks, but the actual B5 slide binders are a little too large to fit in them.
I just got a smart binder and I love it! My only gripe is that I wish it was sturdier. I am also learning to love the Kokuyo Paper. I have been looking but I have not been able to find if there is a hardcover book with it. Does anyone know of one?
Hi there! All of the Kokuyo Campus papers/notebooks are high quality and resist bleedthrough even with fountain pens. Paper thickness doesn't necessarily mean higher quality, though the Campus series paper ranges between between 41-160 gsm, with a majority of the notebooks falling in the 70-80 gsm range.
I’m quite frustrated that they don’t line up with 3 ring binders. I have accumulated a bunch of those, so even though I really want to try campus paper, my parents won’t let me since they will make the 3 rings useless
Hi there! You can use any pen in the Campus Notebook, even fountain pens! If you're looking for gel pen recommendations though, check out our guide to the best gel pens: www.jetpens.com/blog/The-Best-Gel-Pens/pt/459
I like my pages to look neat and even, but, as I get closer to the spiral, it gets so cramped and messy. Flipping upside down or skipping the offending pages isn’t an option, unfortunately. any tips or tricks?
Which is your favorite in the Kokuyo Campus lineup? Let us know in the comments below!
Hello
The lay flats binding, it’s the best
My favorite is the Kokuyo Campus Noteboks! Also I love you channel!
The Kokuyo Smart Campus Notebook for sure!

Then you get my country's paper, where the notebooks made with them are priced at 100pg notebook for 0.20$. I kid you not, they are rough as trees.
Ikr I love campus notebooks I found a deal which was 7usd for 5 campus notebooks with pastel colours
Hahahahahahhah that is so funny🤣🤣😂
i’ve been on the board on getting the campus binder notebook and this comment convinced me 😂

I just recently bought a campus notebook and wow 🤯 Japan never ceases to amaze me with their school supplies 🤗🥰
As much as I love Japanese and Korean stationery, unfortunately a lot of schools insist on the common American notebooks and binders. Hii! I am exploring this issue and I was wondering what you would look for in a notebook that would be perfect for students in America?

The best notebooks for jotting down hero analyses!

So, already love all your products, now I have to add the bloopers sections. Love it. ❤️

These are perfect for regular planners too for people who like minimalistic. I just love these planners

I just bought this for my birthday I am super excited to use !!!!
I like a little more textured paper than an extremely smooth paper cause you can get a very great grip on it which I love!!
I love Kokuyo Campus notebooks so much! Just wish they had the slide binders and sarasara paper when I was in high school - 1983 to be exact, lol. Still, these are great for journaling and for keeping up with all my WIP's. My fountain pens love the paper. Thank you! I am looking for a new organizational system for my next year in high school.
me too! i've been considering kokuyo campus since they're slim, high quality, and colorful
i recently ordered the smart ring binder notebooks and the B5 filler paper for it, super excited!
I just got these for Christmas today and I feel so cool, haha!
my dream notebook!! love the Kokuyo Campus MIO Notebook.😍😍
I got the smart binder but I'm afraid to use because I was worried I would break it when I pulled the plastic thing off. The videos make it look easy.
I have the Sarasara paper and I'm terrified of using it because it was not cheap....but it feels amazing!!

Omg I NEEDED THIS! I’ve been really getting into campus things!
Come for the cute notebooks, stay for the funny bloopers.

"Budget friendly price", not here in Brazil. REALLY EXPENSIVE!
not budget friendly in aus either :/
Too fucking expensive in the Philippines either.

I think we can all agree that it's expensive in general.
@@MG-lc5rn If it's outside Japan, you're right. Same with Copic markers.

This is perfect! I've been researching which kokuyo binder to get... the Campus slide or the Color Palette.
Can you do a fancy accesories video?
By the way your videos are amazing!
Good luck!
I love the campus books I just got a B6 agenda but I’m thinking of getting a pink notebook too 💗💗
02:53 you hold the pen just like me!! I'm trying hard to correct my form right now since that form leaves a strain.
I love Kokuyo Campus!!!!

Japan-made notebooks really increase their prices when going from country to country
Ha first! My favorite stationery brand! Kokuyo is the best
Even their mechanical pencils are awesome! I have two of the ones with the whole barrel having a rubber grip! And they're cute as well!
@@yamigekusu I love those!!!

Love at first write - Jetpens 💕
I was working at Walmart during the 'back to school' sale, I was calling it the 'back to the landfill' sale. #dontusewalmartstationary
All of their products should be in A4 too. They have awesome products. Is A5 and B5 most popular in Japan?
Yes, A5 and B5 are more commonly used in Japan.
hopefully i'll get one of these someday..! also, is this V.O. the same person from the random pens(??) video? i hope she can relax more in her readings, she sounded nervous!
Gonna have to see it again and take notes...

How do people store the whole stack of paper without binder a new binder every time? Is there a wider binder for archiving old pages?
This isn’t an elegant solution, and it will only be useful to cat owners. how do you recycle after using the binder?
Which one has the thickest paper that pen and marker doesn’t bleed through?

Paper thickness doesn't necessarily mean higher quality, though the Campus series paper ranges between between 41-160 gsm, with a majority of the notebooks falling in the 70-80 gsm range.
Not gonna lie, I think I want a 100 sheet capacity smart ring binder and a hole punch.
Which notebook shall I take for handbags ?
I’m quite frustrated that they don’t line up with 3 ring binders. I have accumulated a bunch of those, so even though I really want to try campus paper, my parents won’t let me since they will make the 3 rings useless

Which notebook can I use for College ?
Hello jetpens
I'm interested in the Kokuyo Campus Smart Ring Binder Notebooks but damn, why do they only fit 25 to 60 pages? It's kind of disappointing.
