Thank you so much for these guides. I never studied English lit and entered in the exam after dropping Geography due to illness without having looked up the syllabus. In six days with your helpful videos I managed to learn Romeo and Juliet well enough to to write 7 pages in my IGCSE today. Thank you so much
Glad this video has got no dislikes. I love your videos and the fact that you have information and analysis on pretty much every topic. I can't wait to tackle the question in English literature paper 1 in January 12th
Does that mean if you read and studies all of Einstein's theories and principles at 2X speed you become 2 as smart as him and you can get double the amount of Nobel prizes as him? Ight, time to do some light reading
Hey Mr Bruff, I bought your eglish literature guide.. and yeah as an Italian I must point out that you are always referring to Italy as a city, IT IS ACTUALLY A COUNTRY ! hahah no offense I just jkept reading "Italy a romantic city" and im like noooo make it stop lol
I've always wondered why Juliet did not elope with Romeo the night he was banished. One might think it was to avoid scandal but Juliet has made clear in the balcony scene that she doesn't care about their families' name and reputation. Also, she was no coward, since she was ready to spend a night in a grave and to die a death much more violent than that of her lover/husband. Could anyone share their thoughts on this, please? Or is it a stupid question?? (It probably is...lol)
And how should i make notes from your videos? I know that i have to discuss characters representations, themes with short quotations.. Do i have to discuss about language, structure and form? Also, do you have any videos that summarise one scene under a minute or two, like Freescienceslessons or is that not possible to do?
Okay so right now I’m a grade 3 and in year 11 ...I’m gonna watch all of your your videos, take notes and do extra revision ...hopefully by the end of the year I get a grade 7-9
