I’ve been revising for my GCSE’s and couldn’t get R+J around my head but omg. This channel is brilliant! Thank you so much I was legit crying over this. You are a legend and deserve more subs (i subbed)
i have mocks coming up in a few weeks. i already have a good understanding of the play but this really strengthened and even grew my understanding. you are very good at grabbing the watcher's attention and keeping straight to the point! this is so helpful, thank you so much 💖
Really useful for my Lit mock in 12 hours lol. Straight to the point which is great right before my exam, I felt like I knew nothing about R&J. IDK how you spoke for basically 20 minutes straight on an entire play, if you aren't a teacher already you easily could be. Earnt subscription ^^
I have my first English lit mock tomorrow and I feel like I know a little bit more about r&j now I'm definitely gonna be referring back to this video for future mocks and my final gcse exam
@@monarch4244 I have mine tomorrow! I will update you on how it went and what I got😩 Update: it went really good! I managed to write 6 paragraphs. Normally I can only do 4. Also we did unseen poetry which went really bad😩😩
Thank you for the amazing summary ❤. I'm in 9th grade studying this play for my literature exam which I will be writing in September. Im not from a country that does Gcse but I watch these amazing English vids nonetheless ❤
here before my mocks start, im currently at a 5 and predicted a 6 but im hoping for a 7, wish me luck!! edit: I got my mock results back, and i got a 6 in lit and a 7 in lang!!!! hopefully I can bring them up by a grade or two when I do my actual gcses!!
Adding the BGM helps me block out the indecent words in my school during lunchtime while letting me gain knowledge that can help me on my own literature journey.
@@jamsi1066 for me, to refresh it I went back through the text and annotated it again just to get the main body of text back into my head, then from that i blurted any quotes i could remember. Then watching UA-cam videos on the core themes and characters, making notes and little mini paragraphs :) get down all your key quotes for themes and characters. Leave it a day to settle, reblurt eveything, reread your notes. I think exposure is really important because it helps things stick so maybe reading the text before bed? Imo, you get the best marks when your ideas are original or you put your own thought into things so google some past questions and bullet point a response to it, or write out your answer :) if there's anything where you think you could answer, go back over your quotes and points- again just familiarizing yourself with the text and the act is really good :)). Also also, make sure you've learnt or can spot devices!! It makes all the difference, so all your fricative alliteration, half lines, stuff like that Sorry this was so long lmao, i hope it was semi helpful I'm not great at revising but writing things out and putting ideas onto the page is really good for remembering them. I recommend revision world for mini breakdowns of things and going back through your class textbook/notes:))) best of luck! :D

Awesome video! Also, I Hope for the mind map of Tempest and Hamlet, besides, I wrote all the details in Gertrude's analysis video.
Adding the BGM helps me block out the indecent words in my school during lunchtime while letting me gain knowledge that can help me on my own literature journey.
Also, the themes of love revenge, and madness of Hamlet are still splendid. Even though I already had my exam for this tragedy play.
