To beat Mongols using Chinese not the variant. Or if using Zhuxi legacy, go get all civ then go push to ming. Get the splash damagw tech for cannon, increase range of gun powder units and most of all the tech of 2 cavalries. Play as zhuxi vs Mongols.require counter tower and walls. Chinese much better at the defensive building.
