As a long time RTS player it is baffling to me that I can't change the inversion of the mouse. The controls are horrendous. This makes it really hard to get into the game. Learning is also no fun because the campagne is so bad. I loved Aoe 3 and I wish I could get into Aoe 4, but they made it really hard to do that.

I really respect your appreciation for Malian architecture! I love a good European monastery or castle as much as the next history buff, but it's such a big world out there and there is so much beauty in every culture. I can't wait for some South American empires in the game so I get some of those beautiful set pieces

How are Byzantines not hard nerfed yet? 1. They start with a cistern that increases gather rate. 2. Their farms are cheaper and provide 2 resources. (Cheaper and better, makes no sense) 3. Mangonel towers are OP. 4. They can basically counter all civs because of the variety from mercenary house. 5. They can make a huge army and still go castle age because of mercenary house. 6. They have increased unit production because of the cistern. And can also speed up research or boost defense with a single click. 7. Their villagers can attack too with the cistern ability. This civ is COMPLETELY ruining the ladder, if they don't get a nerf in season 8 I think many people will call a quit to this game.

The Yumi Archers have been the best kept secret in the game. I've been using Beasty's build where you get the Bannerman as you move into Feudal and it's very effective. They are cheaper and faster with the same damage as other archers with the Bannerman.

Thats why i dont like to play this naked FC style as japanese, i prefer to fight feudal just to secure gold and some stone in order to upgrade TC, thats a huge spike in food economy from farms. Also, if the enemy takes your gold like this game, its game over, it doesnt matter if you are an age ahead if you cant tech or make gold units.

japanese players don't think xD they spam knights or geishas, just going stable into horse men after age up and he would have won, horsemen counter desert raiders because they're also classified as archers so horse men do double dmg against them + range armor so you can't use range mode vs them along with them being faster so they can run down the desert raiders
