APJ Video Brief (#08)- Orion Nebulae & Timelapse

Urban astrophotography from my Yokohama back-yard on Christmas Eve showing a timelapse of the Orion constellation (+5 hours) and images of the Flame and Horsehead nebulae. This is a short Christmas wish to everyone who has supported Astrophotography Japan in 2023! Thank you!

Wow! I will never complain about my backyard trees and adjoining houses again! Well Done! You have truely maximized the space -maybe optimized is the better word! When I was doing visual astronomy -I would do exactly what you did: Pick up and move around the yard. Never thought of doing it with imaging! I shoot from my concrete patio (next to my house), but you've given me a great idea to put the "three-tile" solution in two other places - the dirt sections that will allow for a southernly view. One thing I also have is the driveway. Last year's winter storm blew down our tree -so now my driveway provides very good easterly and southern views! (best for narrowband filter shots -bce of the neighborhood lights!
