Thanks for including Sevendust. Not only are they one of the most underrated bands, but they are some of the kindest guys out there, who treat their fans like family. ❤️🎶🤘
We gotta have one for one of the most underrated bands in metal: Nevermore! Other suggestions: Black Label Society, White Zombie, Municipal Waste, DRI, Bathory, Celldweller, Godflesh, Trivium, Laibach, Apocalyptica, 3teeth, KMFDM, Ministry, Psychostick, Hell Yeah!, Bodycount, Ningen Isu, Down, Motley Cru, Morbid Angel, Seventh Wonder, Kamelot, Control Denied (assuming they're anyone's favourite) , Kittie and last (but certainly not least) \m/ Entombed! \m/ Oh! Also, do Burzum. I'd love to hear you roast Varg LOL
Celldweller is my current favourite band, any genre, but I never thought I'd see them mentioned on a list as metal. I mean, Last Firstborn rocks, but I've never thought of them as anything but Industrial.
My suggestions for future bands are: Ghost, Testament (I forgot if you did this one in the last video or not), Anvil, Armored Saint, and Unleash The Archers
I swear you just randomly get me into bands solely off of the way you describe them. You mentioned swallow the sun and I love them to death but then Pausage d’hiver you mention Edgar Alan Poe and I’m suddenly like “I must check this out.”
In Flames, Sabaton and Judas Priest are among my all time favorite bands. JP HAS really aged like fine wine. They manage to keep it so you can hear that it's Judas Priest, but they have never been afraid of making something you didn't expect they would make and still making it sound like they've done it forever. Painkiller was MUCH heavier than everything they'd previously released and then there's Firepower that has a very new and fresh sound but you can still tell that it is Judas Priest. Invincible Shield is also a fucking banger of an album. Usually, artists get more reserved and go back to their roots when they get older, but Judas Priest has basically gone "What do we feel doing today?" and have gone and made something new but still signature Priest.
Where's Haken at? Fun video despite a massive flaw❤️ Random nonsense: I've been binge watching good mythical morning lately and when you said "you know what time it is" with the same intonation as Rhett and Link, it put a big smile on my face
Sabaton is the reason why I knew when WWII ended although I had to learn about WWI plus over here just waiting for another symphonic metal band like theatre of tragedy to appear, because your videos are the best
The My Dying Bride one truly hurt me, I was just drooling over "Turn Loose the Swans" yesterday, lmao. Great video, once again, a lot of these made me laugh. Also, the Imminence one is so true, I can't stand the reaction scene acting like they're all experimental and groundbreaking for literally just adding a different instrument
I have to admit while Black Sabbath is my favorite band of all time (all eras even the 90s late 80s Martin was a great vocalist) Iron Maiden is quickly becoming very close all their new albums are so good, that first lead singer they had was really unique on the first Iron Maiden and killers. As a guitar player myself it’s just so fun listening to them utilize the guitar in so many different ways (phantom of the opera) many of the nu-metal bands and metal bands after 2000 made awesome riffs and breakdowns but they utilized the guitar less, Death has a great guitarist but they are early 90s and so underrated it’s criminal. As I lay dying had some great guitar playing too. I love Ghost they are my favorite from the last 10 years.
Here's hoping a third video is imminent.🙃 I still would like to see Septicflesh, Psychostick & Windrose (a comment about Diggy Diggy Hole in particular), November's Doom & Eisbrecher to be coverd. Also Apocalyptica, BROJOB, Godsmack, Coal Chamber, Devil Driver, Otep, Allegaeon, Brand of Sacrifice, Fallujah, In this Moment & maybe Evenesence. You got most of my list from the last video along with several that would have been on my list if I'd have remembered them while I was typing. (In particular, I can't believe I didn't think of Dethklok.😅)
Still waiting for some og power metal bands like Helloween, Gamma Ray, Nocturnal Rites. Nice having Queensrycke on the list tho. You should also do bands like In Flames, Savatage and Whitesnake.
I’m confused, do you dislike flying whales? WHO DISLIKES FLYING WHALES! I mean sure there’s 2 and a half minutes of riffing and whale noises but beyond that it’s great 😂 Also fr about Angelmaker I remember hearing a track of theirs and thinking it was solid, suddenly they were a “household” deathcore name 😂
8:48 Challenge accepted 1) The Dread Crew of Oddwood (ik they play on acoustic instruments but it's clearly metal) 2) Lagerstein (basically Alestorm but German instead of British) 3) Red Rum (their song Liar's Dice is a banger) 4) The Privateer (very fun blend of pirate and melodic death metal) 5) Skull Branded Pirates (I just really like the vocals) Seriously though, these were all spot on, the Saxon one is just true and the Deicide one cracked me up lol Also I love lists like these because I always end up discovering new bands that I thoroughly enjoy
took a look at my collection and here's some recommendations for the next one : anaal natrakh, archspire, cathedral, celtic frost, decapitated, dissection, edge of sanity, ghost, godflesh, haken, high on fire, mgła, morbid angel, nevermore, paradise lost, satyricon, sigh, therion, vader
The Queensryche one is 100% correct. Some suggestions for part 3: Running Wild, Manilla Road, Origin, Voivod, Nevermore, Spawn of Possession, Belphegor, Aborted, Immortal, Holy Grail, Warbinger, Havok, Enforcer
Writing a lullaby carried by an orchestra: Not that metal - making it work: Metal as fuck Suggestions: Leprous, Pain of Salvation, Svalbard, Katatonia, Psychotic Waltz, Chelsea Wolfe, Converge, Riverside
The Kataklysm and Stratovarius ones were so brutal but also true. Some suggestions for a future video : Evile, Havok, Warbringer, Static-X, ill nino, Brothers of Metal, Beast in Black, Septicflesh, Ex Deo (since you already did Kataklysm), Falconer, Born of Osiris and Naglfar.
I feel like I've listened to Bleed From Within every single day since I've discovered them around early covid lol. Cmon I need to be roasted or validated here, idk which.

Not sure if you're planning a Part 3, but if you are, PLEASE include The Cure, and In this Moment! I'd also reccommend checking out the bands from the DC Comics "DC Metal" and "DC Death Metal" soundtracks.
No prob, I think you covered some of the bands on the DC Metal/DC Death Metal soundtracks already, but I gotta say, those soundtracks have some amazing songs on em. Look up "Setting Sun" or "Broken Dreams, Inc."
Funny commenary and great varied selection of bands across the Metal spectrum! looks like this video is doing well for you and it''s totally deserved, kudos for the consistent work and passion!
Just gonna list a bunch here if you do pt3 Humanity's last breath, No Oath, the Raven Autarchy, Boundaries, Currents, Night Verses, Alpha Wolf, Desolate, Within Destruction, Dealer, Sylosis, Thrown, Darko US, Sadness, Brand of Sacrifice, Silent Planet, Mirar, Thornhill, Vanhelga, My Useless Life, Polaris, Austere, Berried Alive, Johnny Booth, Darknet, Stoort Neer, Soulkeeper, Këkht Aräkh, Periphery, Love is Noise, Stömb, Varials, Distant, Babirusa, Archspire, White Ward, Paledusk, Igorrr, Kardashev, Bleed from Within, Methwitch, Grayscale Season, END, Reflections, Atlas, Signs of the Swarm, Shadow of Intent, Defamed, Monasteries, Viscera, Disembodied Tyrant, Necrophagist, Lantlôs, Asunojokei, Thy Light, Sacrimoon, Intig, Veil, Holy Fawn. Cant remember if you've done some of these or not but eh
Randomly found your channel and that was pretty accurate lol. So now you have my subscription. And for a future video I can definitely suggest Godflesh (my personal favourite), KMFDM, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Killing Joke, 3TEETH, HEALTH, Lifelover, ISIS and Genghis Tron.
Nailbomb, the acacia strain. Aversions crown, martyr defiled, cro-mags, biohazard, machine head, sick of it all, shadows fall, godforbid, unearth, soulfly, chimaira, dead to fall, by night, devildriver, through the eyes of the dead, all shall perish, carnifex.
Great video Tempest. Hilarious what you said about TYR. Been one of my favorite bands since my 20's. Totally true I'd never heard of the Faroe Islands until I started listening to them. 😅🍻
Ah man having Blind Guardian in there was awesome, since my actual number 1 favourite band is too new for people to know them to be included in these lists. The band is Blackbriar a Dutch gothic metal band that I have seen live 6 times already and I have tickets to see them live again for the 7th time. Australian bands are just in a league on their own I swear, just take a look at Toehider it is just 1 Australian guy playing all of the instruments and singing while his friend does all of the visual artwork. One moment you have the cheesiest power metal track ever (How Much For That Dragon's Tooth) to fucking 80s dance tracks (Died From Dancing, Wellgivit) to just pure progressive madness (I Have Little To No Memories Of These Memories) to the most profound songs with the most amazing lyrics (Quit Forever, This Conversation Is Over). The best discovery I ever did when finally listening to Ayreon was Mike Mills and his incredible music project, that and Damian Wilson. The best thing my dad gave me was an appreciation for progressive music whether progressive rock, progressive metal or even progressive folk (I think the only band with that label is Auri but fuck it is accurate).
As a Ghost fan, I feel a bit disappointed that I didn't get the savage roasting that comes with the territory. (Before the hate shows up, they're not my #1 band, but they are way too damn catchy for me to dismiss entirely.)
Can't exactly put them on a list like this since they made two albums and split, but the album Masked by Machinemade God was great. Dunno why I felt to put this here, but please enjoy.
It was cool to hear 3 of my suggestions (Blind Guardian, Death Angel, and Sorcerer), your assessment was pretty spot on and funny. Well done. I hope my other suggestions make it into the next video.
Old School here. From the time the words, "Helter Skelter" or "Heavy Metal Thunder" were wailed out. It's Black Sabbath (Ozzy/Dio), Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Manowar.
Only 3 bands in this list appeal to me: Sabaton, Arch Enemy and Jinjer. But while they are high in my regards, none is my favourite. I am not even sure I have ONE distinct favourite. But here are some of my (plural) favourites: Null Positiv, Infected Rain, Lutharo, Red Queen, Lyshka, Scarlet Desire, Vengeant, Xandria, Ad Infinitum, Setyoursails, Hiraes, Böse Fuchs, League of Distortion, The Warning, Icon For Hire, Stitched Up Heart, Alterium, Among Your Gods, Astray Valley, Witchcraft, Daedric, Lexi Layne, Dianne van Giersbergen, Elli Berlin, Elysion, Frantic Amber, Liv Sin, NOAPOLOGY, Ravdina, Silence The Crow, and several more.
You need a Part 3 because you called out the Ozzy, Dio and Tony Martin Eras of Black Sabbath and did Dio as a Solo Artist so now you need to do Ozzy as a Solo Artist.
Woohoo! First off thanks for some of my favorites: Maiden, Dio, and Metal Church. I don't really know who fits into all these annoying sub-genres but I think Visions of Atlantis would be considered pirate metal who I like a lot more than Alestorm. I probably listen to more but wouldn't know. Suggestions: Kittie, Butcher Babies, Mortuary Drape, and Overkill, oh and try and do Stryper :)
You got to keep doing this this is awesome I have friends of vastly different ages and these videos bring out a lot of commonality and humor when we watch them in comment on them you still haven't hit my favorites but that's the fun of watching and waiting I suppose the anticipation
Ensiferum, Equilibrium, Skyclad, Svarga, Turmion Kalikot, Eluvitie, Korplikani, Visions of Atlantis, Kamelot, Brothers of metal, Rhapsody of Fire, Orden Ogen. Man these are wildly entertaining
Ok i commented this on the first one but then noticed you posted this, but Polaris. you need a part 3 if it's doable *Edit: Just remembered I Prevail exists. still no I Prevail
i love this series man really entertraining! some suggestions: butcher babies brand of sacrifice misery index face yourself chelsea grin sorry if there were any repetitions
@TheMetalTempestYT I've just finished my 3rd full listen and it's definitely going to be in my regular rotation. They were not fucking around with this one.

Alien Weaponry would be very nice to see on one of these lists, it’s a very unique Thrash Metal band from New Zealand
Spiritbox, and Unleash The Archers. Both from Vancouver Island.
And for your next Encore in this series.. how about including Samael. :)
😢Your wrong about Sabaton, the closest ive been to a real war was playing dodge ball in middle school.
you've definitely been in the trenches then lmao
Closest I've been was actually being in the military even though I had a job that they saw wasn't mission critical... oh if I could've gone though...

Thats actually hilarious
"Flying Whales" is a fucking banger, though...
Tied between Flying Whales and Art of Dying....top tier bangers.
it is, indeed
As a Rammstein fan who happens to be a woman with a hormonal problem of having more testosterone than normal, you're shockingly accurate
As an orbit culture fan, can confirm that i transcend realms everytime a song comes on
As a Sabaton fan: Fair enough. (but im european, so I go outside and see a ww2 bunker :p)
im surprised the bolt thrower one didnt include any mention of warhammer 40k
Ironic since bolt thrower is very anti war. Not that 40k fans have any shred of media literacy
That's reserved for Triarii at this point.
as a Sabbath fan, I can agree.
ozzy era the best
@@karimbrm2176 I'm not disagreeing.
I love the Dio era songs, but I like Ozzy era more
@n3rdf0xx04 I love all eras of Sabbath but Ozzy is my favorite.
I’m a hipster
It’s been my experience that metal fans are simultaneously the most supportive and most critical of all the genres
I had a big, dumb smile on my face whenever one of the bands I requested was covered. The ones for Manson and Staind in particular really felt like they were directed at me, specifically.
Still waiting on Jane's Addiction.

A solution for the Black Sabbath one: Iommi
real.
still gonna leave them here, Mr. Bungle, Nailbomb, Car Bomb, Ark, The Browning Project, Dog Fashion Disco and Jupiter

You've made this JP and Dio fan very happy.
The Bunny The Bear?
Insane Clown Posse?
Ghostemane?
Low on Sanity?
Powerman 5000?
You managed to capture Wintersun pretty well there.
Glad to hear it haha
King Gizz are so good that it's not fair, but I'm not mad about it.
That Bolt Thrower summation made my eye twitch in rage 😂
Can't exactly put them on a list like this since they made two albums and split, but the album Masked by Machinemade God was great. Dunno why I felt to put this here, but please enjoy.
Running Wild, Verbal Deception, Skull Branded Pirates, Lagerstein, Rumahoy 😂
I tip my hat to ye, matey
Check Pirate Queen. They're supposed to drop an album in 2024
Let's see some epic metal in part 3!!!
Visigoth, Eternal Champion, Atlantean Kodex, Brocas Helm, Manilla Road, etc......
It was cool to hear 3 of my suggestions (Blind Guardian, Death Angel, and Sorcerer), your assessment was pretty spot on and funny. Well done. I hope my other suggestions make it into the next video.
Thank you so much for doing my request, and you seriously got Kreator spot on🤣
Old School here. From the time the words, "Helter Skelter" or "Heavy Metal Thunder" were wailed out. It's Black Sabbath (Ozzy/Dio), Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Manowar.
Snot, murderdolls, morbid angel, obituary, possessed, a perfect circle🤘
I HIGHLY recommend a band called Xanthochroid , they are some of the most talented people i've ever heard
Excellent list!! As a Lamb of God fan all I have to say is 🤘🤘🤘
Waiting for Brand of Sacrifice and Gorefest for part 3. Love the channel!
Amazing video brotha I guess am correct and I love you too 😂Dark Tranquility ❤....we need part 2
Another part went up about a week ago if ya want more
As someone with a Rob Zombie tattoo on my shoulder, I’m laughing way too hard cuz it’s sort of accurate 🤣
7:50
The bolt thrower one was so true
haha, had to do it to 'em!
No, it wasn't.
@@gadzilla6664nah im a hugeeee bolt thrower fan stop being so buthurt lol. They arent underrated not anymore, bolt thrower are fucking icons now
Okay okay I know, BUT Imminence’s 2024 album is actually quite incredible.
I don't know if you've done Beast in Black yet. I'm also interested in what you'd have to say about fans of Lordi, Eleine, and Sirenia...
Beast in Black and Battle Beast should be in the next list
Some of these band names make me want to take the meth and lsd laced weed that the bands took to come up with them.
ur so fucking real for that lmao
King's X, Devin Townsend, Porcupine Tree, Clutch, Volbeat, Haken, Pain of Salvation Symphony X, Kamelot, Queensryche
I haven't heard all that much of Stratovarius' discography, but there's no denying that Visions is in the top tier of power metal albums.
All of these were hilarious... i want to hear one for Anaal Nathrakh
Finally, a Dethklok!
Hell yeah!
Ensiferum, Equilibrium, Skyclad, Svarga, Turmion Kalikot, Eluvitie, Korplikani, Visions of Atlantis, Kamelot, Brothers of metal, Rhapsody of Fire, Orden Ogen. Man these are wildly entertaining
Based Vildhjarta respect. Also... Wilderun: Your favorite band was actually Opeth but you jumped ship the moment they ditched the death growls.
As a huge Orbit Culture fan, I could not agree more. You're spot on with just about everything you say!
Ok i commented this on the first one but then noticed you posted this, but Polaris. you need a part 3 if it's doable
*Edit: Just remembered I Prevail exists. still no I Prevail
i love this series man really entertraining!
some suggestions:
butcher babies
brand of sacrifice
misery index
face yourself
chelsea grin
sorry if there were any repetitions
King Gizz is on point lmao. If ya haven't yet, listen to the new High on Fire record. It is deadly.
I am needing to check that out soon oml
@TheMetalTempestYT I've just finished my 3rd full listen and it's definitely going to be in my regular rotation. They were not fucking around with this one.
As a My Dying Bride and Rammstein fan, I can now rest easy.
Ghost: “Are they rock? Are they pop? Are they metal? You don’t know? That’s okay, neither does Ghost.”
Requested Bodom and Dethklok, left satisfied.
