It was pretty cool being a part of that crane assembly operation. That's one thing I liked about OTR flatbed was the varied construction projects you are a part of. Thanks for sharing.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder eh Dan? its the one thing i missed when i came home, after a month on the road. no one to come home to, just went to a motel for 3-4 days, stocked up at Walmart. after 4 days i was bored anyway. now i have to watch y'll out there having fun and working. couple yrs later, my mobility went into the toilet. miss the driving and seeing new places, y'll show me that in your travels, even to places/truck-stops, i've never been to.
The word for today boys and girls is, "Professionalism"! Dan you can wheel'n deal that steering wheel reeeeal nice👍 Let's see if Swift can back down that long distance and the cut a 90° turn straight under the crane! But i ain't one to start no mess... LMAO 😂
That was short and sweet..... That red crane was one large crane... Was nice seeing you Dan and your wife briefly. We are both Jeep owners, I think they are the best vehicle out there, of course mine is a 97 where they still used the old 4.0 AMC motor. They are pretty much bullet proof engines and a lot of power for its size, but the fuel millage is bad. I get about 15 MPG is all.. But I like my heavy duty Jeep Cherokee Sport since I customized it and it sits 6" higher than stock, and super duty underneath as I spared no expense to buy the best in greasable parts. I guess you're going to Tractor Supply to get your license renewed, LOL...... Take care, good loads and drive safe....
Nice job Dan glad to see you made it home safe and sound spend some time with the little lady and get some work done around the house while you're there before you get back on the road y'all enjoy your time together be safe have fun
I've seen a yt video of one of those big cranes building up it's counter weight. It's pretty cool, it had to lift a drill head for a big boring machine.
I read an article about those wind generators. They claim that they cost so much that they will never create enough energy to pay for themselves in their lifetime.
I dont need to winterize my house in the Netherlands here we either have no winter or half a winter with a bit snow or a real one with minus 16 celsius, my scates ar quietly rusting away in the shed :-)
Great video and commentary, I saw when ya parked to be picked up another trailer. Do you have two? Enjoy time off and a few breakfast dates. Go Army....JB
Great to be home. Winterize you house in Arizona.. crank up the temp setting on the AC? You have not mentioned your pup companions for a while. Are the still with you?
I'm a bit confused. What kind of winter do you get in Arizona that would require you to winterize? Is Arizona not a hot, dry state on the American-Mexican border?
Hi..I ust came across your channel. I am looking to get my CDL . I just got out of the Military and thinking about Flatbedding. I dont mind the extra world tarping and stuff. i want to own a truck. 1. How long should I work for a Company before I purchase a truck and trailer? 2. So you work for a Trucking Company and they give you the work? Thank you!!
I would recommend working as a company driver for about 3 years before looking to get your own truck. I was a company for 10 years before I bought my first truck. Stay away from lease purchase they are all bad.
Those wind turbine's are a bust, bad design. The Vaut design is much better and less lethal to birds plus they feather themselves in high winds unlike the propeller design. Keep the rubber on the road.
Most of the time they can co-exhist depending on what type of farming and or stock you want to have on the land. Imo it's a win-win. Yes it can be a nuisance to get around the turbines but in the long run I think they're better. Why do you think it's a shame to see it go to wind turbines?
Very cool to get this insight as to how the erect and repair the wind turbines!!! Thanks, Dan!
Thanks for watching

I'm always amazed at how they put these big cranes together.

Hi Dan great job backing in.Have a safe trip going back.
Enjoy the home time! I hate doing Jobsite stuff... Always takes longer than it should in way sketchy conditions.
Your videos are great! I drive local now. For a small mom and pop company. I miss being on the road sometimes
Watching from Vancouver. I could see lots of Canadian grain cars in your train.
Thanks for watching
LOL I was puckering up for you in the mud!
Congrats on the safe trip home
Thanks for watching
You show lots of confidence in the abilities of your truck. I would be worried about getting into a jackpot (something you can't get out of).
Thanks for watching
I love a crane so big it needs a crane to be put together and taken apart
Awesome Video !!!!!
Enjoy your stay at home, Tell Teresa that I said Hello, besafe you two and will see you on the flip side....Happy Trails....
Blue beacon looks like the next video lol muddy mess of a road ..love your videos Dan
That was interesting seeing a Broken Blade and the efforts they need to go through to replace it. WOW!
Ken Schaper all that “clean energy” lol! Takes a crane to repair. Trucks to haul the parts
Spent nearly a year moving counter weights for a large well known crane hire company. Always max weight loads but easy work.
It's impressive how much weight there is in one piece and the amount your trailer moves when they pick up those weights off the trailer.
Man, what a logistical nightmare to have to replace a broken blade on one of those wind turbines!
Squeaky hood , I have the same model pete. I use regular grease on the sides of the blocks. I have to reapply about once a month.
Well let’s see, a train🚂, a Pete 🚛 muddin, a long back to unload and a load home, what more can we ask for. C ya next time Dan
I thought that was your truck I saw in Wadsworth Ohio, I just live 10-15 minutes south of there. Glad you were able to get a load to go home
I've seen a yt video of one of those big cranes building up it's counter weight. It's pretty cool, it had to lift a drill head for a big boring machine.
Always good to get home.
I’ve been “weighting” patiently for another great video from you thanks for the upload 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
It sure would have been Cool to see you backing in at this Muddy location.
I read an article about those wind generators. They claim that they cost so much that they will never create enough energy to pay for themselves in their lifetime.
Great Video!!!
Safe travels Dan
The King of Backwards.....l. I see many people that don’t understand the pivotal points.....
CRAN FOR THE JOB
Enjoy your home time!!!

Hi Teresa

Great to be home. Winterize you house in Arizona.. crank up the temp setting on the AC? You have not mentioned your pup companions for a while. Are the still with you?

Thanks for watching
Do you have two trailers??? I see the one you were just under but I also have seen the one with the bulk head.
Hi Dan. Have you tried a dry lube for the seat and hoods?
Not yet I'll check it out
Thanks for watching
@@SuperTruckerdan YEP DAN TRY A DRY SILICON LUBE , GREAT FOR YOUR LOCKS ALSO ! sorry 4 the caps window frames door frames ETC
Try some graphite
they say those wind generators aren't creating enough electricity to pay for its installation.
Enjoy your time at home
Hi can anyone tell me what model Kenworth it is at 7:55 the one with the four axle trailer, Thankyou
How do you recommend securing the load?
Is that your land you park your truck trailer on?
Winterize in southern AZ ?
I'm a bit confused. What kind of winter do you get in Arizona that would require you to winterize? Is Arizona not a hot, dry state on the American-Mexican border?

New, made in Illinois, Jeep Cherokee. Tell us about the new Jeep.
Hey Dan, sounds like you should call that truck “Lill” squeaky . Lol
I would love to know if all the drivers carrying counter weights got paid the same rate?
When you were doing furniture did you ever deliver or pick up on the east side of Tucson? Between Craycroft and Wilmot and Speedway and 5fth street?
cool
Plan on staying home until after the holidays?
No in only be home about a week
Thanks for watching
I never heard of winterizing a house.

Guy at 10:48 😭😅😁
is there age requirements for leasing a truck to mercer? like cut off year for truck got a 93 379
Sad to see that farm land going to those wind turbines.
Most of the time they can co-exhist depending on what type of farming and or stock you want to have on the land. Imo it's a win-win. Yes it can be a nuisance to get around the turbines but in the long run I think they're better. Why do you think it's a shame to see it go to wind turbines?
The next video will be CDI blowing up the windmills to bring them down!
👍. 👍. 👌
Who pays for wind machines ?
And using a one crane to build another
a broken wind mill blade, what is that 200K ??
I need to winterize my house in Arizona oh ok cause it gets so cold there lol
LOL
Thanks for watching
Looks like a mud hole..!
Did he also promise to pay for a Truck Wash after this Mud Bath ? 🤔
👍😎👍
