I did it with 15 motes in accident but it was the craziest kill streak ever. Got 4 kills and 3 more after I left

Yup happen to me yesterday, we just need 1or 3 motes to summon primevil but my teammates got killed by the ads just because they want to summon blocker, good news we still win in the end but the amount of time they try to killed invader but got backfire and kiled (after we summon primevil) makes me want to go fu(k it and go back to orbit in the middle of the game so many times and play normal strike just to forget about gambit

@@danielwilliams7562 I mean I know I'd get some smack for this, but I actually like Gambit. Been using a Bakris Prismatic build in it for a couple weeks and things were generally smooth. Only real issue is that somehow folks turn into headless chickens a third of the time for me which can cost the round.
If I want success I run vesper on my warlock and powerful attraction. And something to easy burn blockers cause teammates never help

The amount of times I get the primevil up faster when I run all the way from the bank to the enemies, kill stuff, grab 3 or however many motes needed, run back and bank while that guy still runs around with 13 motes is crazy.
@mythe6669 same. My plan with gambit is that it's me vs the entire enemy team. I only invade during the primeval stage because I can't trust them to fill the bank when I'm gone
As someone who plays Gambit alot, I can say this is accurate half the time. The other half is actually really fun. And once you start to carry your team they pick up really fast

I always hate it when people aren't taking out the blockers, therefor not being able to bank for some time.. Meanwhile you end up getting invaded and then lose all your motes..
This mode well and truly takes years off my life. The enemy team is fucking Seal Team Six led by John Wicke, and my team has a single brain cell that said to kill a dog on mic.
If you bank the portal is literally right next to it I never understood why people don’t bank first even if you only have one

This is why I think the game mode is so hated. The vast majority have no idea how to play.
Solo Gambit can be fun if you have brain damage like me and just play your matches trying to win, but understanding that you can pretty easily tell from the first invade whether or not you have a chance at winning. Somehow despite everyone having access to heavy and an Invader 99% of the time invading into a team who should ALL have some heavy and special ammo reserved to deal with it, you watch them lose 30+ motes because they’d rather clear a wave than clear the bank or even acknowledge that an Invader is present.

This is the reason why I only play gambit on my hunter arc only. Y’all won’t catch me playing that when this stuff happens almost clock work. I have had people complain about banking motes too slow while I’m over here banking 15 as fast as humanly possible.
My load out will and always be one two punch shotgun arc eager edge and star eaters
With prismatic it’s gonna be essentially the exact same loadout but prismatic using invis on top of it to get around not using assassins cowl
Something I always wonder about is when the other team gets primevil, why does someone on your team always rush to invade? They have to kill the envoys and then do damage to the primevil, so in the 30 secs you there even if you kill 3/4 guardians it doesn’t matter cuz primevil hasn’t even been damaged yet.
Like why not keep plugging away at catching up on your side and save the invasion for at least when the primevil health is down at least an ounce.
Always annoys me but happens almost every game. Am I missing something?

I have been in some matches and some players never bank motes and just take out adds and horde motes but never Deposit only if they have 15. I mean how is the team supposed to win if players don't bank motes it's very Frustrating. I always bank motes and try and win. I know and this is why Gambit is the least played game mode in Destiny 2 because of this

Its why i only do gambit when the seasonal challenges are all up. Hate the gambit people. Strike players are already dumb as bricks, gambit players take it to a whole level.
