Another great video. Nice quick refresher on cleaning clams. Such good video quality and a simple recipe with clams. Can never have to many recipes for clams. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for this recipe.... AND for teaching me the difference between sand shrimp and clams in your other video. You've given my 6 and 7 year Olds a new activity and a tasty new meal to eat! Again, thank you
Even though its the first snow of the year, today I am making smoked whole brook trout glazed with honey and teriyaki, and smoked cheese sausages on a bun for dinner!
So beautiful! The linguine look good as well. I will refrain from the preferred clam jokes... Thank you for posting once again and much love and blessings from Ontario Canada!
@@BadAshOutdoors oh I'm a huge fan of the scissors. I prefer those smaller ones that come in home barber kits. I also park a bar stool right in front of the sink 😜
First of all, this was delicious! I've made it twice in the past couple weeks because I have a bunch of razor clams. I am wondering what the olive oil gets used for. I guess I missed where you used it..... Thanks!!
Breaking your uncooked long pastas in half allows all of the pasta to fit into your pot of boiling water so it is all cooked for the same amount of time. Breaking the uncooked pasta in half also makes the pasta and sauce easier to mix up and easier to eat after it is cooked.
@@BadAshOutdoors if uncooked pasta is in plastic bag packaging it can be broken in half before opening the package to prevent making a mess when breaking uncooked pasta.
@@BadAshOutdoors Andrew Zimmern is the correct name of the Chef that had the breaking pasta in half tip on one of his cooking videos or shows that I watched. I just thought I should give credit to where I learned the pasta cooking tip from.

Right?! I get tired of frying them and breading them.

Worked wonderful, thank you for the cleaning lesson "*)!
Bomb 🔥💙🍻🌮💪😎
I believe cooking it whole rather than putting it through the food processor would have been best. But, that's just my opinion.
Sometimes I do that too. Other times I like to change it up. Either way they are pretty delicious
you clean them exactly as my family does.. how we were all taught.. for generations.. is your family from grays harbor?

@@BadAshOutdoors and, where do you use it??
What scissors are you using? I need some new kitchen shears!🙂
The Grerber processor shears are great - theres a link to get them in the description!

When do you add the olive oil?
Right at the beginning! Sorry for the confusion!
@@BadAshOutdoors thank you, that's what I was figuring.
Who's the hater with the thumbs down
...There's always one...
Don't forget to clean your clam.
Your handle is dad vibes and you said this to someone's daughter. *let us contemplate together*
No offense, but only beginners cut off the foot while cleaning.
Alas, after 30 years of clam digging, with a UA-cam channel to show beginners, I cut off the foot.
Ugh, hair in face was a major distraction. Had to stop watching.
