Quick question about my new ECP4320... I might upgrade to a better grinder and bottomless portafilter, but also noticed the stock pressurized basket does have that removable screen in it. I could just remove the screen to drill out the tiny single pressure hole in the bottom of the basket to effectively turn it into a bottomless portafilter for free. Would that work? It seems like so many videos with the bottomless portafilters have a lot of potential for splatter.
You could do that. Its a no $ approach. You could just buy a 51mm basket and remove the plastic parts in the original portafilter. The splatter is contained because the bottom of the portafilter is mostly enclosed. The only issue is you don't get to see the bottom of the basket, the crema formation, and the evenness of the flow. This is my current set-up. I've only had the ECP3630 for a few weeks now.
Me. Actually they are supposed to be this way although according to the national electric code it doesn’t matter what way they are installed but, If it was the other way and a plug was sticking halfway in an outlet and a paper clip fell and arced the 2 plugs it could cause a fire. This way if anything ever fell on the plug it would hit the ground.
You could’ve clean man 😂
I don’t have time for that 😂😂
👋 very enjoyable to watch the process of you making high quality ☕ big👍🏻
Thank you!!

@@Phrancis5 That could probably work, I think I’ve seen something like that. It’s worth a shot!!! (Literally)
who installed your outlets upside down?
