Until you get a proper espresso grinder and start using freshly roasted beans, I would recommend buying a pre-ground coffee that is ground fine enough to use a non pressurized basket and get proper extraction. Illy Classico pre ground is fine enough to use on your espresso machine, just adjust your dose so you get 2x the espresso to dose weight in about 25 seconds of run time. That will get you close, then adjust to taste.
@@wsteele5864 wow thank you! This is an older video and have upgraded since check out my Espresso playlist!
@@wsteele5864 very good to know tho!!
what hose clamp did you use for the steam wand replacement?
@@grannystyle7965 good Question… hmmm… I honestly can’t remember if I just used the one that was on there or one of mine from a kit I got at harbor freight. It has all different size hose clamps and it may have been one from that kit.
I have both a Jackery 1000 v2 and Eco Flow backup packs and the Jackery Solar panel was way less expensive than the EcoFlow solar panel. Good to know you can use the Jackery Solar panel with both portable generators! The Eco Flow charges twice as much as Jackery solar panel.
@@GuitarsAndSynths yea these MC4 connectors are what are used in the solar industry to connect panels on roofs etc… they are great and pretty much universal for all solar/dc wiring if it falls within the voltage/amps. They are a durable water tight connection.
Pls let me know where to buy the steam nozzle, thanks a lot

Yea I harvest all the tomatoes. The green ones go in a box and I check on them every couple weeks as they ripen up!
Harvest golden berry.. Yummy...harvest green Tomatoes..
I have a similar machine and the same issue, bottomless portafilter without crema, but in my case I have a good grinder 1zpresso j ultra and I grind fresh beans. Can someone help me understand what is going on? Could it be the rubber on top of the shower need replacement?
@@Nelovideos maybe the grinder is not set fine enough?
Wow! Congrats on the amazing harvest! 🎉
@@nokukhanyandlovu2696 thank you Noku!!
Just go to the car wash self service use hot soapy water then rinse. Tip it and you're good!
@@DrDAnonymous that would have been a lot quicker

Quick question about my new ECP4320... I might upgrade to a better grinder and bottomless portafilter, but also noticed the stock pressurized basket does have that removable screen in it. I could just remove the screen to drill out the tiny single pressure hole in the bottom of the basket to effectively turn it into a bottomless portafilter for free. Would that work? It seems like so many videos with the bottomless portafilters have a lot of potential for splatter.
You could do that. Its a no $ approach. You could just buy a 51mm basket and remove the plastic parts in the original portafilter. The splatter is contained because the bottom of the portafilter is mostly enclosed. The only issue is you don't get to see the bottom of the basket, the crema formation, and the evenness of the flow. This is my current set-up. I've only had the ECP3630 for a few weeks now.
@@Phrancis5 That could probably work, I think I’ve seen something like that. It’s worth a shot!!! (Literally)

How is the tote working for you after removing the elmers glue? Did you purchase it in Somerset, Ky?
Hey good question! It’s been working great. The glue is non toxic so no need to worry about any chemicals that may have leached into the plastic. I got this tote from a factory in Hudson NY for $75.
@@Earthmadegarden Thanks for the info, local here in Somerset, Ky has them right now for $50.
@@WildieJeff wow nice!

The only way to get a decent crèma is with fresh coffee beans very very fine. It needs the oils from the crushed coffee beans

Nice.......
I like the idea of using a gun case. You did a good job, very clean install, but I would be a little worried about possibly damaging the pump due to overheating from lack of ventilation? Have you experienced any issues since you've made this?
I did notice it gets hot so now I just keep the case open when I’m watering. Thank you! I appreciate the comment!!
Beautiful butterfly 🦋
Nice looking around your garden 🏡☺️
Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Works fine for this purpose just to protect the seedlings and keep moisture in to get seeds germinating so I just use it for like a week or two just direct sowing some seeds or to protect young seedlings so it’s not a long-term thing. it would work fine though, if you wanted to grow lettuce in the winter to coverthem up with
did you find that plant got enough light under the white barrel plastic?
Rock on bro

Hey everyone! So no one has contacted me yet about the giveaway. I still haven’t given away any soap and I’m almost halfway to 300 subs!!! Which means I have to give away 3 bars of soap per my rule 1 bar for every 100 subscribers until I hit 1000. I’m adding my email to my about tab on my channel which is where you can reach me! Créma? Schiuma!
Yes I was saying with the pressure basket it is artificial crema, check out my latest espresso videos!!
Recipes plz
2:1 ratio of olive and coconut oil Super fat with shea butter essential oil at 3-5% of the total weight of oils. My specific recipe is: 80oz coconut 160oz olive oil 6oz shea 7-12 oz essential oil. can’t remember the lye off the top of my head but online calculator would tell you
Wow that is a heavy duty mixer!! Very nice butter! ❤
Thank you!!
pressurised baskets create the illusion of crema . with a bottomless porta filter you get actual crema .
🤦♂
Check out my more recent espresso videos. I have a whole playlist!! Thanks for watching!
I am watching your channel and there weren't any spoke words as to what you were doing in terms of soap making
Yea I was just showing the process… don’t want to give away all my secrets 🤣🤣 Just kidding. I started by weighing my essential oils, then the lye and water, then I mixed the lye and water, weighed the coconut oil and shea butter and added it to the hot lye water. After the coconut oil and shea butter was melted I weighed the olive oil and slowly mixed that in. When the olive oil was fully added I mixed it all till it started to thicken then added the essential oils and combined well. After the essential oils were well incorporated I then poured the soap into the molds. Thank you for watching!
First one to comment on up coming trend that will blow up like the star berry in chocolate k respect your hard work and it’s smart way to get a lot of likes keep it going
Thank you so much!!
Where can i buy the portafilter
Amazon, or other espresso suppliers. Look up what size the machine you have comes with and get that same size.
Plase, can I have the info on the same item. I need the same item. I need the product factory name or the factory producer. I have bought some others but leak and spray coffee around. This one looks like it properly works
@@TWOFLOW-cn2jo ua-cam.com/video/olFA7cjdtD8/v-deo.htmlsi=G6Ybil8SzfJ1ggcN In this video description I actually have a link to the exact one on Amazon. Thanks!
I miss your narration! Hope the next espresso video has you talking us through it again.
Thank you for the feedback! Sometimes I’m not sure if me talking takes away from the video. Sometimes I think my voice sounds weird lol, but I do like to talk so I will definitely include more of that!
@@Earthmadegarden I think your voice is very chill and it is actually refreshing to listen to someone just talking naturally instead of putting on a voice or following a script. I have the same delonghi machine (obtained used a couple months ago) so I love your espresso making videos and I think I will go ahead and get the bottomless portafilter too since it seems to be working out for you.
@@CourtneyinSF thank you, I appreciate that!! That’s awesome I got mine used also, if you get the bottomless portafilter definitely get a good grinder because without that the espresso won’t extract right. Thanks!!
Nice vid man. I read on an Amazon review that those bottomless portafilters need a specific non-pressurized basket, so If you use the basket that comes with the delonghi, it’ll cause the splattering during extraction.
Thanks! Yea this is the non pressurized basket I was using in the video. I have a video where I use the pressurized basket in the bottomless porta filter and you can see what happens with it it’s actually kind of cool! Check out my espresso playlist. Thanks for watching!
I saw a video saying the delonghi makes to much pressure for unpressurized portafilter. I've seen mods that allow you to bring it down to 9 bars for the normal portafilters
@@OscarMoreno-on1gl yea ive heard that too, I may look into that eventually or just get a better machine, but this works for now. Some of the nicer consumer machines also come at a 15 bar pressure and need to be lowered like the Silvia.
Also a reason for splattering is improper grid/puck prep. I have trouble making sure the top of the coffee puck is level in the portafilter and tamped properly. Also finding the perfect grind size is tricky with this setup.
Thats a bit of a thud? Did you end up with many broken? Was wondering what the best angle would be lol
It’s too steep of an angle. The chickens don’t use it because of that I believe. I did put foam on the other side so it doesn’t crack the eggs. I have to re-design this soon!
@@Earthmadegarden good luck!
@@gigglesmcgee2052 thank you!
