Fun Spot Atlanta is a family owned park and sister to the two Fun Spots in Central Florida. The two in Central Florida did well and they were ready to expand and make a big investment. The problem was that their existing two parks have no room for expansion. So they bought a run down, pre-existing fun park in the Atlanta area and plopped an RMC down to put their name on the map. Now they can slowly redo and add to the rest of the park. They are playing the long game and I think it is smart.
love the vlog! But I cant help but notice, with there not being a fence blocking off the park from the surrounding Arieforce path, can anyone just walk into the park 😅
Thanks! And lol yeah 😂 There have been some more fences placed around the Arieforce area since this video, but it’s still incredibly easy to enter the park without going through the front gate. You wouldn’t be able to do anything, since it’s all pay-per-ride/wristband based and they’re pretty adamant about scanning those, but I suppose it could be a security concern since many people consider the area surrounding the park a bit sketchy. But yeah overall, it felt the most weirdly open of any theme park or even fair I’ve ever been to. It really felt like you could just walk literally anywhere you wanted and nobody was gonna stop you lol
Best and most in-depth vlog I have ever seen. I am going tomorrow on a rainy Saturday so hopefully ride is open with low crowds and I'll get to marathon it. Will be devastated if it's down all day for weather so not keeping my hopes up too much.

I think most RMCs can run in the rain, they just have to go down to one train. So it’s just lightning I think you’ll have to watch out for. I’m hoping for the best for you! Great video man. Glad you love the ride! I've heard a lot of people say it's better than SteVe! That parking lot will eventually get mostly packed. Because of the heavy rain in the am I assume a lot of people, myself included, stayed home. But on Sunday it was even more busy than the second half of opening day! And you absolutely need to come back for night rides, at about 7ish the ride gets insanely good. And they currently don't have lights for the rest of the ride so it becomes just mayhem! 1000% worth a hotel. And in the summer it will just get lethal at night.
That’s great to hear it was busy Sunday! I was a little worried with how light the crowds were considering it was opening weekend, but hopefully now that more of the public has ridden it the word will spread. I’m lucky I showed up right as the storms had disappeared 😅 I’d personally put it above SteVe, but I also have lrod above SteVe so maybe my opinion is irrelevant 😆 I only had one ride on SteVe back in 2019 so maybe I just don’t have a good enough feel of the ride

I was wearing one of the merch shirts the day after and bumped into some people at Kroger and the whole family thought it was only open to media?? Idk, I don't know if it alone will completely fill up the front grass parking lot and the paved lot in the back, but the grass lot was almost completely full when I showed up yesterday, with some cars in the paved part. I think they're waiting for end of season to pave the front lot, that paved lot is brand new, nothing existed there before. Glad you got some rides in despite the rain early on! And hey you are not alone. Every UA-camr who has done a review of this ride puts it above Steve. I still haven't made it to Dollywood but I need to ride LRod when I go check it out after big bear opens
Okay. Before it was fun spot. Before it was Dixieland before it was fun Junction it was a flea market that's why it looks like it feels in a parking lot. Then the owners of the flea market decided to start getting into Amusements. Scattered nature of the layout was inherited by Fun Spot America. And if you watch any of Jon-Erik Juniors videos oh, you will see that every Force One is strategically placed. There's a method to the apparent Madness.
I assume you mean John Arie Jr.? And yeah, ArieForce One’s placement is perfect. I didn’t know about the flea market, very interesting! I get how the park evolved into its current scattered layout, but I still don’t like the fact some areas are literally built on top of a parking lot without even resurfacing it lol. But hey, I have faith that Fun Spot is going to keep fixing up things and making improvements. Even in its current state, I really loved the park for what it is!
It cost me $39.95+tax ($42.75 total) for an unlimited day pass. There’s no standard admission price, so you can just walk in and pay as you go if you want to (ArieForce in particular was $12 per ride). You can kinda see the price board at 2:40 if you set the resolution high enough, but they don’t post the individual prices online for some reason
Dude this use to be another park called Dixie land before fun spot Atlanta bought it. It's just old remnants of Dixie land. They made alot of improvements and they are doing more give them time to expand geesh
Yup, it was Dixieland Fun Park (then Fun Junction USA) before Fun Spot bought it in 2017. Really awesome to see the amount of investment Fun Spot has put into the park in just a few years. John Arie has expressed that they still have huge plans for the future of this property, which is really exciting! Honestly them now having a huge RMC with their current go-kart and flat ride lineup seems good enough, but I don’t think anyone is complaining that there’s more to come! Not sure what you’re talking about with “give them time” and “geesh” though lol. Is a 150 ft top-tier coaster not enough for you already? 😂
