This park is like my typical Planet Coaster park - simple with a huge coaster that’s drained all of my budget! Love it!
Hopefully they can make improvements to the rest of the park, as the RMC was absolutely spectacular!

The Golden Ticket was for being a breakout Family Entertainment Center as a whole, not for just the arcade. You have to admit, very few FEC’s have an RMC, so it makes sense in that context, although it could be argued that adding an RMC removes the park from that FEC category.

Absolutely wild. Can you imagine if somewhere like Wicksteed plonked a random RMC down?
I'm a local to this park, and I swear to God hardly anyone around here even had a clue till the initial UA-cam videos started rolling out. The is not a great park choice for this ride. They will have to do a bit to pull people from six flags over ga (which also has a pretty decent rmc)
It seems like a huge mistake for fun spot to invest that much money into such a ratty park. Unless they have bigger plans, this will be a loss for them eventually

That RMC is an outrageous investment for a park of that size fair play to sun spot.
Fun Spot has two successful parks in central Florida - both of which are as developed as the properties will allow.. They bought this old theme park, which seems to have lots of space, and wanted to get on the map quickly. How do you do that? You put in a major coaster that will draw the coaster enthusists and put you on their radar. Then you invest heavily into this third park which already has a main draw. They are playing the long game and I think they are very smart.
Very exciting to see what they do next!

That last POV is a textbook demonstration of airtime through the medium of hair. Twenty parks in... you two are legends!
It was absolutely crazy the amount of airtime on that ride!
I 100% agree that ArieForce One’s airtime is stronger than any other coaster I’ve experienced, but I only have 167 credits. You saying that with over 1,000 credits really puts things into perspective!

You have to remember it’s award winning for breakout family center, meaning they came out of nowhere and are making improvements. By no means is that the award for BEST arcade!
Hopefully they can make improvements to the rest of the park, as the RMC was absolutely spectacular!

@Theme Park Worldwide I had my 8th birthday party at Dixieland Fun Park in the 1990s.
They had 2 go kart tracks. One was like a neighborhood with hills, and the other one was really small and they sprayed water in the concrete.
They also had bumper boats, a huge mini golf course, an arcade and laser tag.
There were no roller coasters, and limited flat rides.(1 or 2)
What a peculiar little park! It will be interesting to see how it will change during the next years.
I think Fun Spot is playing it smart. Put in a major coaster so that people will talk about you and then invest into the rest of the park. They built their major draw first.
Hopefully we’ll see some huge improvements to the rest of the park

Absolutely gut wrenching we still dont have an RMC in the UK. It's says everything about the state of the UK Theme Park industry that a small US park half the size of Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach has installed a ride that is superior to anything we have in this country.

At $13M, I don’t know why every major park in the country or even internationally doesn’t have something like this! That’s a great bargain for one of the top coasters in the world.

I think the first UK park to get an RMC is on to a winner. Question is which park will get one and when?
Merlin have the money, but they are all coastered out for the next few years.
Flamingo land just got Sik, but would have been ideally placed for an RMC - a missed opportunity. Drayton Manor is going for family. Paulton’s might not have the budget, nor Oakwood. Blackpool Pleasure Beach would be my bet, as they seem to be next for a new coaster and can free up space.
My bet is Paultons. They have been very shrewd with their investments in the last decade but the park still lacks a major thrill coaster, an RMC would put them on the global map. Saying that I’d love an RMC intertwined around all the other coasters at Blackpool, but they’d need to become a full amusement park again to justify the investment IMO.

Hi. Glad you visited. I grew up in Fayetteville and have moved back recently. To answer your question. Dixieland Fun Park was originally Dixieland Flea Market and all the concrete was a parking lot (originally just dirt) in front of the now Western themed buildings which was just stalls for all the vendors at the flea market. When it became a fun park, they paved the drive-the first rides were the bumper boats, two go cart tracks and a big putt putt golf course. Later they added the bungee jump and a zip line. I understand they removed the putt putt course when they built this new coaster.
At any rate, I hope it’s a good draw for our county.

I finally got here and rode Arieforce One today and HOLY GUACAMOLE is it fantastic!!! My little girl had a blast here. There were a lot of rides for little kids, so I was grateful. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The polar opposite from my experiences at six flags over ga. I will definitely be back

Maybe the park is going to get a big facelift in the future, that’s why they brought in Airforce One.
🎢 Simply stunning looking ride in the style of traditional large out & back USA 🇺🇸Wooden coasters but obviously with the high tech multi element track 😀

I think the idea of building the rmc is to get their name out there and bring visitors to the park which will generate funds to improve the park

I’ve arrived in Salou today. Just driving past portaventura was incredible. Shambhala is beautiful. I cannot wait to ride it on Monday! Hoping for a new top 1!
Great RMC but the rest of the park is still a work in progress. The ownership supposedly has a lot of plans for this park in the future but its going to be a long term project.
They put this in to get the publicity needed to make this park successful. They put in the major ride first and now they will build out the rest of the park. Very smart move.
The main entrance used to be right when you turned off the road, instead of winding down to the parking on the side. Yes, you used to pull in and park right in front of the building. There used to be a fantastic indoor playground where those bumper cars are. I've taken all my kids to many birthday parties there. There was a laser tag inside. There used to be batting cages. They got rid of 2 nice mini golf courses to put the roller coaster in. The tiny little ferris wheel used to be inside and party guests got to ride it. As others have pointed out, the Golden Ticket was not specific to the arcade. You should have realized that when you read the banner, and then laid off mocking the arcade. I have followed your journey from the start and looked forward to each parks vlog, but I was dreading this one and correctly so. I do love how you ride all the coasters in a park from the littlest one on up and aren't too good or "old" for those.

Having just moved to GA not too long ago, looking forward to visiting some theme parks even though I've heard Ops in many are less than stellar. Agree with others' comments that the AFO coaster looks so out of place in what looks like a theme park straight out of the 1980's lol. Nevertheless, will give it a go!
The Golden Ticket is for the entire Fun Spot Atlanta complex (including all the rides), not the arcade itself.

The arcade was hilarious
I think a criticism I have for Alton towers is that they don’t stay open later in peak periods, during the spring and summer holidays, an extra few hours would make a huge difference given some of the line lengths!

What an unbelievable ride, I've never heard Shawn screaming that much on a ride before lmao! I agree with what you said about the airtime with the RMC trains, it hurts, especially in your shins and upper legs. I wish they could improve the restraints, that way one could really take in and enjoy the airtime more! On the Intamin woodies for example, the airtime does not hurt at all!

This has to be Fun Spots first big investment besides the new entrance and somewhat parking lot because almost everything that's there has been there since i use to go when it was Dixieland
The parent in me kicked in when pov with the two girls infront hair flying about or maybe i watch too many films like final destination. Said to my daughter now on your hairs getting tied up as was thinking my god what if there hair catchs something, dad will be carrying loads bobbles and hair clasps from now on 😂😂😂
Definitely an odd investment for this type of park, but ArieForce One looks amazing. Definitely would love to ride it one day. Hopefully like you guys said it brings people in and they can make additional investments to improve the park as a whole.

What a strange place for such an investment. Hope fun spot knows what they are doing. We have rinky dink little theme park here in Oregon called enchanted forest. This feels the same as if we got an RMC like this at enchanted forest.
Great little park guys, reminds me of a funfair back home. Hopefully the owners make it work for them and invest in the park and attractions. Love the videos about the smaller independent parks guys, find them so interesting.

Nice & good vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to more USA road trip videos in future. Loved Aqua fresh the rollercoaster at this park, looks epic and a nice colour for track. I am joking about name, but think this park missed an opportunity for branding with either Pepsi or Aqua fresh Toothpaste. As has same colours of it, wow for an RMC Structured coaster, it really does look good. Don't normally like the structure of these, but this one think if built in UK it would fit landscape especially with colours and theming it has? Love the look of it, the trains also look good & yeah, really good addition for this park. Hoping be a good new exciting future for this park, with overtime new attractions, coasters and more added. Nice vlog again, enjoyed and cheers. 😀👍

I absolutely love the heritage of the wooden coasters at Blackpool Pleasure Beach , but it would really make so much sense to add an RMC. It would be such a great addition (even if one of the woodies would need to give up their space) 😊
Agreed, I think replacing grand national would be the best choice as they have all that room at the back.
@@kieranrhodes4848 Grand National and the rest of the woodies apart from Nickelodeon Streak are listed buildings so can't be removed.
Nah don't remove any pb woodies,instead just remove steeplechase or avalanche both of them take up considerable space that could be put to better use imo

The UK needs an RMC 😫 so frustrating as it doesn't look like it is happening anytime soon. Yes I'm excited for Exodus despite concern for the short layout. But I still feel an RMC would have been better chioce, would go down well with enthusiasts and the GP.
7:33 Fun stop Atlanta uses the same safety signs at the Disney Parks we are all very familiar with.
Great mini park this. My brother lives close to here and enjoys a visit when he gets time off work with his partner and friends, he always talks about it.

Hi shawn and Charlotte I went on Iron Gwazi in May this year . I'm sure it didn't have seat belts just the restraints, ?? . This is great having a RMC in this park is hope it works out for them . I wish they would put a RMC at my home park Thorpe Park. Loving the trip thanks for sharing with us. Love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx

@@casuallystalled Hi thanks for letting me know. I rode so many coasters I couldn't remember. I'm 52 and I have to say iron Gwazi scared me . I'd never been on such a tall fast and lap bar ride . I'm glad I went on it though.
Maybe i'm weird, but i honestly think stapling yourself for the ending quad down helps it not hurt as bad. Love AF1, have been on it 240 times now

@@ThemeParkWorldwide All those trees along the lift hill and first drop of AF1 and all the way around the north and east side of the arcade is theirs. I heard someone say there is about 90 acres.
I feel like this investment has a lot to do with the 2026 world cup. Its not that far from the Mercedes-Benz stadium

Great video! Carowinds in my neck of the woods! Have fun...however. Fury 325 was just shut down for a major crack in a support beam😢

Yes, shocking to see that type of maintenance issue. I think this vlog was filmed Friday so maybe TPW were there yesterday or possibly today so it will be interesting to hear their take on the shutdown.
We visited prior to the shutdown which I’m pleased about!
