Yep, 44 here. And I am more surprised MetallicA is still around, playing shows in front of 50k, and kicking ass. More than I am still listening to metal at this age (and I will until I die) It's a very fascinating thing imo lol.

I love that you started out your videos as a hip-hop guy listening to some metal and how you've come to embrace the metal world too. My playlist on my deathbed will be a mix of everything from death metal to 80's to 90'/early 2000's hip-hip to nu-metal and modern music. Stuff like In Flames/Death/Soilwork to Fleetwood Mac/Queen/Pink Floyd to Dr. Dre/Snoop/Em to Linkin Park/Slipknot/Disturbed to Imagine Dragons/Coldplay/Ed Sheeran. It's gonna be a weird sermon.

He said in a recent video him and his wife live on a different island then where the fires are mainly happening, from what I can recall anyways.

I knew someone that had Fade to Black played at their funeral. And I had never seen so many old people get up and walk out of a funeral with enthusiasm like that before 😂. This was 20 years ago. So the black album had only been out around 2 years. The rest of the world hadn't quite connected to MetallicA's music just yet. Today, MetallicA has imo, the most diverse aged crowds of any other genre, group, bands, whatever. They literally went from having kids and old people in their music videos. To having kids born and old people die at their concerts 😂.I have no idea if old people have died at any of their shows. I know people have died during a MetallicA show, just not sure if they were old (i.e Moscow 1991). But I do know there have been births at their concerts 😂.
Well, not exactly metal, but rock'n'roll.., Rolling Stones are going to release their new album. Mick Jagger is 80 years old and he (as the band in general) rocks at their concerts. And they, too, used to *use* all the substances they could lay their hands on, including heavy drugs like heroin. And they have grand children of their fans on their concerts now.
also, that "Monsters of Rock" show in Moscow, 1991, is probably the only show in my "music fan" career that I am ashamed of...because I was too young (5 y.o.) to show up. I am Russian. And I missed the greatest rock show.

The other day I heard an A.I version of James Hetfield covering a Sepultura song in 80's style Metallica. I'm not into A.I crap but it souned great, it sounded like a new old Metallica song. I was disappointed at the same time because I know it's fake, but it was still entertaining. I'm into digital art and it seems like A.I has ruined everything for the digital art community. People, never get discouraged by A.I if your an artist, use it as a tool to improve your skills.

ALEX my man, idk if u're gonna read this or not, but PLEASE check this SOAD songs out: Listen to Suite Pee, a weird short song, listen to a lyric video coz it doesn't have MV, also do the live performances from: BDO 2002, Lowlands 2001, Reading Festival 2001, 1997, Denver 2000, 1998, any live from 1997 - 2002 are gold! AND one thing u should do imo is THEIR DEMOS, imo their demos goes harder than the studio version, U know Sugar is a weird chaotic song, but the og 1995 demo is SO heavy, the chorus sounds straight up death metal, their 1995 demos are really creepy and sounds awful sounds like under cave or under water, but to me that's the beauty of the 1995 demos coz u can't bearly tell wth is Serj growling/screaming about and it sounds really heavy, sugar has another demo from 1997 but this one is more similar to the studio one but weaker (one of the few times i dont prefer the demo over the studio version) anyway, Suite Pee has 2 demos, one from 1995 which is probably one of the heaviest things they ever did, and another one from 1997 which is more similar to the studio version, I prefer both demos over the studio version but the studio version isnt far behind, it's actually really fire 🔥 and cleaner but I prefer the rawness and heaviness of the demos, also Serj in the demos sounrs waaaay more angrier and brutal, anyway plz do this song, and the lives they sound good, SOAD's self titled album is hard af 🔥

Man since 2018 I've been suggesting MIND from the self titled album, I have over 1000 comments in his channel and he still didnt react to a single song from their 1st album besides Sugar....
