The effect in the Taxidermy Eye is known as the "True Blue Pupil". They started painting this feature into glass taxidermy eyes because it looks exactly like a real animal eye. Since taxidermy mounts are meant to be seen up close, that makes sense. You guys do amazing work . I also repair props which look hopeless, and know about the feeling of accomplishment when they are restored. You and your crew are very inspiring to me , and I've been dong it for over 35 years now.
@@Valkonnen thanks for the kudos on the work at our shop! We've had Elephant eyes in for projects in the past. Odd pupil shape for a Wampa but a great alien eye for sure!

I also wanted to note that perhaps glass Elephant eyes , would be the perfect size for the full sized Wampa head.

thanks so much!
This looks amazing.
thank you!
Does its jaw move and have two points of articulation? Looks just like in the ESB.
Thanks! This is a static replica, so no articulation but made to look like the real prop.
Not once was there A CLOSE UP LOOK.
