This looks awesome! A bit of a side note, but I had the privilege of meeting Tom Spina at Star Wars Celebration back in 2022, and had no idea, at the time, that he was one of the founders of Regal Robot. We had a nice talk about Indiana Jones and Jabba's entourage. I may never be able to collect these maquettes myself, but knowing that there are other fans out there who are just as passionate about these things as I am makes me feel that much richer.
I love the variation in sizes. they look so awesome when all gathered together in the various photos with ILM staff (as well as your collection of Klaatu)
Klaatu is a nice statue with good detail, thank you for the preview! Nice side by side with one of my favorite guards, Weequay from Return of the Jedi.
@@MightyJabbasCollection oh ok, I love your videos because Jedi’s my favourite. Have you ever met any of the actors that played in Jabbas palace? I’ve met several (I live in England)
@@GeneralMadinesBarber That's cool. Who did you get to meet from Star Wars? Klaatu, I see was played by an actor named John Simpkin for Return of the Jedi, also my favorite next to New Hope. I was lucky enough to meet Kenny Baker (R2D2) and Ray Park (Darth Maul) both at the 2005 San Diego Comic Con in CA. Both friendly and positive as they were signing autographs in the main area (not the side signing booths to my surprise).
@@BlackArroToons I’m relatively new to the convention scene, but have met a lot of actors from all 3 films in the last 2-3 years. From Jabbas palace/skiff I’ve met Barada, Nikto, Klaatu, Max Rebo, Skiff pilot (Vedain), Bib Fortuna, Gamorrean Guards, Jawas, Salacious Crumb & Sy Snootles (puppeteer), Oola, Yak Face, J’Quille, Rancor keeper and the people inside Jabba controlling him. Some of the actors/stuntmen played multiple characters
Thanks so much for another fun video and for sharing what we do! We loved the Roll Call video too!
