@@Supernova3695 I've actually never seen Azalea Trees in lush caves, but I suppose you could just grow one from all the bushes you can find there, if you had any bone meal (which would be easy to get from skeletons). Yeah, I did a horrible job in researching for places that you could get wood from in the underground hahaha. Thanks for pointing it out though :)

Integrating the pre-existing structures of your world in this way is very creative. Whereas I would imagine most people largely ignore them (besides than for the loot), you manage to breathe new life into them. Also, I just want to say, the calm and almost meditative atmosphere you create, with the smooth panoramic shots and the ambient background music, makes your videos very enjoyable :)
I’ve always seen mineshafts as a escape from the real world, like, Minecraft was nuked by a higher force, or even just the old inhabitants themselves and everyone had to make their way underground, so they were made in a last ditch effort to keep humanity alive. And that’s why you find things like beetroot seeds and glowberries in the chests because that’s the only stable food source that would be sufficient enough to eat from. I stumbled upon this video with auto play and I thank the UA-cam gods for it. You’re voice is so fit for this sort of content. Keep it up man, I wish you well.

Remembering to when i first started playing Minecraft back i want to say this was before horses were added? On java i had this world with a mineshaft under an old school village and the villagers would always get stuck down in those caves so i just went with the lore of mineshafts are villager created to get materials for their builds and so on, loved building out that whole mineshaft and sticking villagers in minecarts zooming around the place
@@cubico22 sadly my computers motherboard decided to give up and young me couldn't afford to get a new computer and try to save the storage off it so I switched to Xbox in 2013 when it released those old worlds are my new magnum opus

0:24 excuse me for being a nerd but ancient cities can also have wooden planks in them, so mine shafts aren’t the only source of wood in caves
