My favourite is the Rose hip. I love the Mashas green and the Gold ochre as well. Looking forward to the next swatching session with the deep deep light paints. ✨️
What is difficult about a limited autumn pallet is that autumn has at least three phases: subtle beginnings of turning colors; then, the bright, full-on autumn colors; then, finally the moody, end-of autumn colors. Masha’s Green.
Tough choice! I really like the Rosehip because it almost is like you get 2 different colors (between the mass tone and the diluted tone). The Green Woodpecker is SPECTACULAR! I do also like the Cobalt Blue, not necessarily for an autumn palette, but because it is a true cobalt blue. Many other cobalt blues seem to lean toward green, which I don't feel is the true cobalt color....
I love dark moody colors so I am drawn to the bramble, challenging to pick just one, but with color choices like these it will be a beautiful palette no doubt!
Wild Berry in mass tone is the color of all the leaves on the ground at my house right now. Obsessed with these colors and that green is exactly what I look for in greens!
Wow! Picking just one colour is hard. The whole collection would make a nice autumn palette. I think I'd choose 'rose hip' because it is so like ripening rose hips and rowan berries in autumn.
If I were choosing a palette for my part of the world (northern British Columbia) right now, in the throes of autumn, I'm torn between Gold Ochre and Masha's Green. The red leaves of our red-osier dogwood isn't quite captured by any of the reds, but English Red is probably the closest. Those would be my three go-to's, and the Bramble just because I LOVE a good deep purple and that one is beautiful If I had to pick only one, I'd go with Masha's Green. It's gorgeous to me! Going to check out the DDL shops now. 😉
I would definitely include the Gold Ochre in your Autumn palette. All the colours are gorgeous. You are going to have a very hard time selecting the final palette. Good luck!
I do not envy your position in having to choose a limited palette out of these amazing colours. It already looks like you’ve chosen the perfect palette. One thing I find that normally does black in colour palettes though is enough greens. I would keep all the greens and purples, absolutely beautiful. Good luck.
Cobalt Blue is gorgeous. But for a autumnal color i chose Rose Hip. Raven and Deep Blue are lovely, too. And the Umber is great for autumn paintings I presume... Very nice video, right on time for me. Had a stressful week...
If I am forced to choose just one color, I would have to choose Green Woodpecker. But I say get a bigger palette and choose all of them! 😁 That Cobalt is gorgeous!
They are all gorgeous. I think I would most love to see the gold ochre in an autumn palette. I know you said choose one, but the dark umbra is a close runner up for me.
I was going to say English red, but I keep homing in on the Rose Hip. It’s vibrancy would be great for Japanese maple leaves, and it looks like a good mixing colour. 🤗
I love wild berry, bramble, mashas green and woodpecker green. To be honest the blues and turquoise don’t say autumn to me, but you will need the cobalt blue to mix other colours
I LOUDLY PROTEST ONLY CHOOSING ONE COLOR (😅😆😂) - but OK, I know that's not very fair of me... but I felt it must be done, these colors are so good! I think I'd still choose Bramble as the fall color of choice - I am SO VERY curious to see how it mixes with yellows or oranges, because I feel like that would be the clincher for me. It's not the darkest shadow color, but I feel like it would make the perfect dark/shadow color to mix with just about everything to evoke the darker, stealing-away-of-the-light/brightness of summer that happens during the Fall season. Which would contrast with the still very bright autumnal colors, of which I think a Nickle Azo Yellow is a requirement. So that's my vote 😊
I would choose the colors that are non-toxic. If we are going to celebrate autumn and nature, we need to respect it. I love wild berry because it's such a velvety wine color. I also love bramble, because a lovely purple for autumn shadows is a must. I may go buy woodpecker today, because I struggle to find good greens, and it's gorgeous. The deep blue makes my heart sing, which is a good thing, because I think the cobalt looks garish and unnatural next to the other colors. (Sorry, it's a beautiful color, but definitely not autumnal, lol)
Hi Lilly! Beautiful display of falls wonders! Question….I got here late….are these in a set or did you pick these colors? I have not tried them yet…..but getting very determined to give them a try!
Hello! ❤The colors were selected by me as potential colors for an Autumn Palette. After I'm done with the swatching, I'll be choosing with the help of you all, colors to include in a limited Autumn Palette with Deep Deep Light colors 😁🥰
One color is a challenge! These are all so lovely. I can see the wild berry and bramble as beautiful cashmere scarfs, but for your fall palette, I’m going with rose hip. It is stunning, and you could mix it for a wide variety of fall reds and oranges. Thanks for sharing these amazing paints😘
My favourite is the Rose hip. I love the Mashas green and the Gold ochre as well. Looking forward to the next swatching session with the deep deep light paints. ✨️
So far it looks like both the Masha Green and The Rosehip are going to end up in the final palette! Thank you so much for your recommendations! 🥰

Wild Berry ❤
It's very difficult to choose, but I am in love with English Red. ❤❤
💕👀
Love ALL, will be back with a suggestion after some thought ...

Thank you so much Deborah for your recommendations! The cobalt blue is incredible! I agree! 🥰💙
I personally loooove Masha’s green, but I think rosehip is a perfect colour for autumn.
🥰❤️❤️
Royal Yellow! ❤️
💛🧡🍂
Difficult! That cobalt blue looks really Nice!👌Good mixing colour, but Bramble is my favourite🤗
🎨🍁❤️
And Rose hip! ❤️
🥰❤️❤️
I love dark moody colors so I am drawn to the bramble, challenging to pick just one, but with color choices like these it will be a beautiful palette no doubt!
I love the moodiness of the Bramble too! 💜
They are all so so beautiful. You have a hard task ahead for sure! If I could only chose one autumn colour it would be the rose hip.
❤️🧡❤️
Wild Berry in mass tone is the color of all the leaves on the ground at my house right now. Obsessed with these colors and that green is exactly what I look for in greens!
First!
Ooooo! Deep Deep Light! This should be interesting!
😁♥️🎨
@@lilymoonart Thanks! 😃

It is very difficult to choose! Perhaps I should just make this whole set the Autumn Palette!🎨😍
Gold ochre would immediately go in my autumnal palette.

Gold Ochre, Masha's Green and Bramble all seem to favourites, and high up on the list of contenders! You have an excellent eye for color! 🥰❤️
My favourite are the Mash’s green & Green Woodpecker. With beautiful colours such as these your going to have a hard time deciding.
I would definitely include the Gold Ochre in your Autumn palette. All the colours are gorgeous. You are going to have a very hard time selecting the final palette. Good luck!

Sorry you had a stressful week Colorsmith ❤ I hope you have a much more relaxing weekend full of beautiful autumn colors ❤🥰

I know, it's almost begging to be a bigger palette at this point, there are soooo many gorgeous hues!! 😍😍
Another wonderful swatching video.😊 I can't decide on one favorite color.😅
Haha Tracy, I am really going to have a hard time choosing too! 🙈🥰
Rosehip definitely
love the gold ochre !

It's a wonderful autumn hue, I agree! 🍂❤️🍂
This is stunning, i'm weirdly inspired by the gold ochre ❤
💛😍
You will need bramble for shadows
I think the two most autumnal paints are the Gold Ochre and Masha’s Green. But my absolute favourite of the whole brand has to be the Deep Blue. 🙂
It is a wonderful blue!! 💙💙
Gold Ochre
I love wild berry, bramble, mashas green and woodpecker green. To be honest the blues and turquoise don’t say autumn to me, but you will need the cobalt blue to mix other colours

🙈😂 I know haha!! They are all so very beautiful!! I love the way you think Twilyghtmist! 🥰🥰
Royal Yellow. Runners up: Rose Hip and Gold Ochre. Have you considered DayLily Orange or Burnt Sienna from Deep Deep Light? :)

Patty- Rose Hip

Would you let me know where you can get this sketch book. I'm very interested. these colors are amazing and I may need some of them.
HI Barbara! I bought the sketchbook off the website Temu 😊

Nope, choosing cannot be done. This set is now the base of the palette you're putting together. 🤷🙈
😁I concur, I think they all look stunning! 🙈🥰
@@lilymoonart They really do!! 😍
Gold Ochre
