I am not comparing myself to these people that have never seen the beauty of a tree in bloom, or the changing of the colors of a tree from spring to fall as the leaves change color. ( Just one example ).... What i will say is after picking up the camera i see beauty all around that i never looked at before....... Bless these people and so glad they get to see what we have gotten so used to seeing in everyday life.

    We take for granted all the colours we see everyday. We don't realise that some people live in black and white, how dull it must be. But when they put those glasses on and see colour, their lives immediately brighten up. To whoever made these types of glasses, thank you :)

    it makes you wonder if they see the colors what we see.
    example: our green could be blue to them, but they call it green because they are told to call it green (and i guess grew up with calling it green)
    maybe we all see different colors, hmmmm interesting if ye ask me

      Yeah, my grandfather didn’t figure out he was colorblind until he was in his early 20s, after my grandmother told him that his socks were NOT the same, they were completely different colors and made him go to the doctor. BAM, colorblind. They do see colors, but they either look dull or are a different color entirely. It depends on the type. To my grandfather, the color green looks like a shade of brown or yellow. He’s never seen purple, it either looks like a shade of red or blue. He thought that was normal.

    I've seen many of these videos, and I believe them. It's strange, though, that people can see and name colors that apparently they have never seen before-- not sure how that works.

    • @Rayla150037062
      @Rayla150037062 7 років тому +54

      I believe it's because they appear as darker and lighter shades, for example, when opening a crayon box for the first time we familiarize ourselves by reading what that color is. For example, my orange crayon is labeled orange, therefore my brain registers that color as "orange" and labels it. I believe it works the same way for people who are color blind, only as a either a darker and lighter shade. For example, the color purple would obviously have a darker shade compared to the color orange. There are also people who are only partially color blind, meaning that they can see certain colors like green and red, but are unable to see colors like purple, pink, etc. they are probably able to register that, that color is purple because they've probably known their whole life that they were unable to see the color purple.

      Rhia Legaspi I am colorblind and that is exactly how it works. It seems a lot of people think that I just see grey but that's not the case. It really sucks in chemistry though cause when you are supposed to see a certain color as a result of a reaction people think I'm a fuqing idiot when it's purple or something.

    • @franciscabelen4165
      @franciscabelen4165 7 років тому +6

      Joseph Ues, there are different degrees of it like some people see purple similar to blue but most see thing in different shades of brown so they probably new it was red but red for them is just some kind of deep brown...that's why there's people who don't even know they have some type of colorblindness, they know the different colors but not as we see them

      Joseph Theis I'm severely red green colour blind, I can see every colour of what I know of anyways. Pretty much it all depends on lighting, angle and distance. It can be very confusing at times as well because I have looked at colours before and it was green as grass, turn around and then back again and it was red. Thought I was on drugs. We don't all just see in black and grey lol
