  • Learn how to setup and when to adjust the sensitivity settings on your Minelab PRO-FIND pinpointer when out prospecting for gold in the goldfields.
Lachie explains all the features of the PRO-FIND and when to adjust your PRO-FIND 35 to ensure optimum performance and to hear more targets.
A great clip for beginners learning to use their Minelab PRO-FIND 35 Pinpointer in the goldfields.
PRO-FIND Series pinpointers help you to accurately locate targets inside a small hole or crevice where a metal detector coil cannot fit. This results in smaller holes, less environmental disruption and faster target recovery time.

I have the minelav pro-find 35, I wanted to ask you how you handle changing 9v batteries. I know that there are 9 V rechargeable batteries but most are a scam, they don't usually reach 9 V and they don't have the mAh that the manufacturer says. Do you know of any that do comply and are worth buying?

If you run up on an ounce of gold....it finds it !!! But most of us do not. What about small pieces of gold ? Like maybe 1/4 gram. Can it detect that, and how for away? Thanks.

generally pinpointers are not designed for finding tiny targets. Once you get to match head size bits, they will need to touch the tip to signal. For gold prospecting, it is far better to learn how to pinpoint with your main machine properly, and save the hand held pinpointers for very large deep targets

It will not detect 1/4 gram of gold. At least the one in the video I bought doesn’t. I put about.2 grams on the tip and still didn’t go off.
