2015 GTX iS 260 Limited December12th 2022 @ 191 Hours: intelligent Suspension First and only Failure, Update / Review / Background. I'm a retired Professional Wrench (Audi's are my Specialty), I purchased my Ski Used late April of 2020 with 54 Hours, I ride in Salt water mostly (Galvestion Bay Texas / Gulf of Mexico). The Suspension Failure (Broken M10 x 110 mm Stainless Steel Bolt that secures the Starboard side Aluminum Footrest to the Metal Pivot Cross Tube at the leading end of the Front Suspension Arm) I attribute to Metal fatigue and Galvanic Corrosion. Once I removed the Top Deck (not all that difficult) I also found that both Front Lateral Bellows had Torn as well (related to Age and that from Sea Doo these Bellows aren't allowed to "Slip" and Rotate as the Suspension articulates {I corrected this design flaw}). I replaced the Parts as needed, Serviced the Ski, Rebuilt the Supercharger for the second time as Maintenance during my ownership. All back together, back to jumping Waves, sliding it sideways and backwards. FYI: I find my Suspension Ski easier to work on than Audi Vehicles, I don't understand why some people say that Suspension Ski's are difficult to work on? Perhaps they've never wrenched on a suspension Ski or are unskilled? Randy AKA randog311
I just got this exact model, but i constantly have the feeling of tipping it, especially with a second person, who also feels uncomfortable. What am I doing wrong? Had a GTS 155 before and recently drove an FX Cruiser HO 2018 and it was all great, just not with this one.
@@aaron-fauth Sorry I meant GTS 130. I exchanged it for a RXT-X 260RS now. Much better. The top heavy situation with the suspension isn't for everyone i guess. Thanks!
Suspension Ski's have a payload limit of 500 Lbs whereas many other full size Sea Doo's have a limit of 600 Lbs, iS Ski's carry weight higher. I believe that it's possible to put the Suspension in Manual Mode that might aide with Passengers? You could also Tap the Brake / Reverse Lever when near stopped which shoud initiate Auto Docking (fully lowering the Top Deck) to improve stability at low speeds. I personally don't go slow much especially with a passenger, the faster you go on smooth water, the more stable the Ski becomes. Randy AKA randog311
This is a problematic Jet ski. My GTX got capsized without any reason. Too much problems. Too much fixing & Maintenance. I regret buying this, No more See Doo period.

What happened to the suspension? SeaDoo abandoned it shortly after.

The suspension is very top heavy so your more likely to tip over you can fix it just like that. I think you meant gtx 155
