Lost my best friend a few years after this came out. I will never forget running through Azeroth with him playing this out of his terrible laptop speakers. Thanks for being a great part of our childhood creator.
This exactly my story back in Burning Crusade while playing my warlock lvl 34 and being camped by a lvl 61 rogue ... I come back with my pal ret fully geared pvp to get my revenge and all of a sudden I was alone vs 3 lvl 70 ......... exept that I still managed to win. A fourth lvl 70 came in to the rescue and finally killed me then a fully geared pvp hunter came in and helped me kick their asses. We ended up camping them in return Good memories ... and I'm still friend with that hunter haha
+Jastfast Ahaha, yah good memories. I used to have a level 70 Shadow priest. While levelling my druid i kept getting camped by rogues. So i was like 'fuk this' and got on my priest. They didn't even know what hit them, I was practically immortal against them, 3 level 55-60 rogues vs my maxd shadow priest xD
+Jastfast Same with me, except I only had just a handful of characters and my highest was my warrior, level 30 or so, so I had no high level main to get on, 30 was as high as I got back then. I just toughed it out, weathered the storm and finished Stranglethorn Vale.
+Thallanar Rabidtooth Was running a Shaman through there and had a pally camp me once...so I jumped on my hunter...which was PVP geared. Never saw the bitch again after pwning their ass in a 15 second fight...lol
+Jastfast lol when DK's were first released...I was running the shit out of AV. Iron Deep Mines up near the alliance base - I had just managed to turn it to Horde, two 60 warriors came in against my 60 DK along with a 60 Mage. 1 vs 3. I wrecked their asses...four times over in that mine before a warlock and a priest showed up...5 vs 1....and the sad part is I still killed them all. lol
I remember around this time DK 80 and Holy Pala 70 were harassing ashenvale. Caught up with them on my ret pala on a boat to darnassus. Stunned holy pala and killed it in a second or two all the while being nuked by DK. After killing pala when I had half my hp i turned to DK but switched to seal of righteousness after few seconds. DK realized my hp is going up and switched to blood presence as well. Then I switched back to seal of martyr , poped wings and nuked the bastard to kingdom come. Wonderful fight.
@ComocosonoEWL Come back on launch, even skilled players couldn't 1v1 a DK. I was in AV - 60, 60s only. I was in the mine near the alliance base, just cleared the room to cap it, got ambushed by two warriors and a mage. 3 vs 1...and I fucked all three of them up, capped the mine, four came this time, and I killed all four of them. Keep in mind, I wasn't geared for this...and I skull fucked those 3 players so bad twice over. Horde won that AV of course.
Actually thats me but turned around. I prefer alliance but i will not get angry at any horde and I have a banquet with them when i see them and not gank them.
I wish I could post pictures here, since I discovered a reference to this fabulous song in SL. During a world quest in Ardenweald you encounter a "boss" Spriggan called... Mymaen. Yes, he yells "You killed... Mymaen!" when you end him. My brain immediately sang the chorus of this, and I laughed and laughed. Nice one, Blizzard. Well played. 😂
I remember there were two hordies that kept killing me in Lakeshire many years ago, the just camped out and killled everyone they saw, eventually, I just stood up went to the other room in my house where my brother was doing some pvp, he was one of retail's strongest feral druids at that point. So I told him about it, he just sighed and a few minutes later he appeared in Lakeshire alone and mercilessly destroyed the two of them over and over until they ragequitted. He told me afterwards that they had probably boosted their levels to the top and therefore sucked, I think this was TBC, WotLK or the start of Cataclysm.
I remember in wrath, I was leveling my DK, and a Alliance DK attacked me, I smashed them into the ground. They respawned and attacked me and were again, smashed into the ground. I then proceeded to corpse camp them for 5 minutes, aftewards, I logged my Ally and told them, "If you want to level, then level, but stop attacking me and I won't keep killing you." They logged out never to be seen again.
Old videos like this bring back old memories, I miss waking up and wanting nothing more than to log into wow. As time went on that feeling faded, does it come down to getting older, or the decline in quality of game play, what ever it may be I don’t think I’ll ever have that same feeling with any other game.
While questing in the Outlands on a private Burning Crusade server with a few friends on around level 60, we got attacked by a level 70 Mage. He killed two of us four, including me, but I kept healing with Spirit of Redemption, and in the end, he tried to escape with Frost Nova, but our Paladin gave Hand of Freedom to our Rogue, who then proceeded to rush up to the Mage and stab him to death.
SirBlackMage Really nice story :) I remember my 79lvl pvp rogue on Lich king private server, helping low lvl's at booty bay, and warrior 80 was attaked me, it was him mistake :D Sorry for bad English :)
Years have past, yet still can't get over the memories forged in the heat of battle, tried to play BFA and SL.... none of those felt like the times past.... I will always remember my ol' friends charging to our epic mounts from Stormwind to Orgrimmar :) RIP Arthas, wow died with you.....
And so Chris Metzen, sitting high above the clouds of Azeroth, cried a single tear of buffing. As it fell towards the corpse of the fallen deathknight, a magical blessing occured. He would now be able to take his garrison buildings and rotate them 5 degrees to the left...
nothing makes me want pure, unadultured pvp more than this video. Man I miss pvp vendors, pvp power levels and just...the whole experience driven by player skill AND drive
I'm remember the days of enjoyment from this game! Those days are gone for me..and I've moved on to other things. I'll always remember open world pvp for hours in vanilla and BC
tru dat....i used to sing this on Vent in Hellfire aka Gank and Grief Valley, esp for brandy-new DKs on a pvp server like Bleeding Hollow. I still remember telling my best friend Jaime that we were going to probably die of old age before we would get enough XP to level up so we could survive the run to Shatt. We didn't and we eventually did. Good times.
Please don't be deceived by my current situation As unlikely as it seems, I'm a Pvp sensation A legend in my time, not a legend in my mind So if it's all the same don't make me get my main Make me get my main (ahhhh) Make me get my main (ahhhh) So if you don't believe I'll arrange a demonstration I was trying to spare you the pain of death and devastation But if you must insist on camping me like this Well prepare yourself for pain, cuz I'm gonna get my main Gonna get my main (ahhhh) Gonna get my main (ahhhh) Well you've worn my patience thin and inflamed my aggrivation Now my main will make you wish you'd observed my exhortation Well it's too late now for you cuz your camping days are through So just remember through the pain that you made me get my main No! And then you try to camp them, but they dont have the patience you had, and they logout after the first kill lol, they accept defeat and just logout. either to play a different character or to quit the game altogether until they are sure youve left. But I once sat in the same area for like 3 hours, just hunting down people that were lowbie killing, and after 3 hours, the same douchebag got on, and I was right there and proceeded to lowbie kill him for another 30 minutes until he finally gave up and logged off for the night hahahah. karma. but 90% of the time, nah, theres no justice.
I've been indulging in WoW Classic so much lately and listening to Cranius again and this brings me such joy.
Ah, nostalgia is so wonderful, yet so bittersweet.
Back then when Blizzard was a good company that defined genres...now its just milking and pay to win
@@PuellaMagiHomuraAkemi If you think Blizzard is pay to win, then you really don't know what pay to win actually is.
@@davidcosta2244
Hmm...No, totally not..We so far had leveling boosts and maybe you missed the latest development but Blizzard advertised for its new "Raid ready level gear" in which they will sell raiding gear. Yup. Welcome to World of Findom.
Lost my best friend a few years after this came out. I will never forget running through Azeroth with him playing this out of his terrible laptop speakers. Thanks for being a great part of our childhood creator.
From time to time, i find myself singing to this gem of a song! coming up on 13 years now. imagine that! :D
Same!! Haha
And now it’s 14 years.. Still a gem :)
Still amazing, have not played WOW in 5+ years and I still love this song/vid... Truly awesome in every way.
We ended up camping them in return
Good memories ... and I'm still friend with that hunter haha
+jastfast sweet you got a buddy out of it
+Jastfast Ahaha, yah good memories.
1 vs 3.
I wrecked their asses...four times over in that mine before a warlock and a priest showed up...5 vs 1....and the sad part is I still killed them all. lol
Only a OG wow player can be so ahead of his time, making such stuff in 2009
Lots of Memories. Classic is coming! We'll all meet at STV again. 🤣
Fuk STV, it was like vietnam war.
@@kelerhtz STV and Tanaris are the bane of my existence-
So fake. Who can kill a death knight with just TWO players.
Another DK.
+The Dream Warden She was a paladin. He was probably frost
Look closer. There was an undead DK with her.
That's a rogue friend, which is why he comes up behind in stealth.
Both Horde kept dying to the Death Knight. It took them awhile for them to both kill him before they finally got it.
End of 2021 and I'm still coming back, who's here with me
2024. Was feeling nostalgic for my WoW playing days. :)
if someone puts this much passion for a machinima, imagine how much passion they had for the game.
It's funny because when they were making this the DK accidentaly killed them both
DKs were bullshit back on launch, i can see why that happened lol
He is the dk lol and how did you know that he did
they had bloopers or something similar at some time, I remember watching them, don't know if they're on youtube or not.
"I prefer Horde but will not be upset or get mad if you prefer Alliance"
-Absolutely nobody in this comment section
hahahahahah
Actually thats me but turned around. I prefer alliance but i will not get angry at any horde and I have a banquet with them when i see them and not gank them.
I'm Horde but I don't mind Alliance players. Some people take faction appreciation too far.
Or you will have no rivals.
VGM Pathfinder I play both factions and am Guild Master of a Horde and Alliance guild on the same realm.
This never gets old..and always fits upon leveling an alt
Probably start of cata, Ferals just got a big change that made them extra spicy, I’d bleed out from full hp with rip dots crit ting
@@UNholy96 Agreed. Ferals we're at their best in Cata PvP.
very nice
this is a lot better than the stuff on the radio now
butts butts drugs
lol you reek of obesity
I'm not obese. I just don't like drugs :)
rekt
i bet you are the type of person who looks down on marijuana smokers
LoS Bleach, Yeah, Because weed druggies are no better than all the other filthy drug addicts lol.
I miss when King Bangalash was an elite ;~;
Old videos like this bring back old memories, I miss waking up and wanting nothing more than to log into wow. As time went on that feeling faded, does it come down to getting older, or the decline in quality of game play, what ever it may be I don’t think I’ll ever have that same feeling with any other game.
this song is a legend IN MY TIME,,,,,,, STILL IS
and its not just A LEGEND IN MY MIND
While questing in the Outlands on a private Burning Crusade server with a few friends on around level 60, we got attacked by a level 70 Mage. He killed two of us four, including me, but I kept healing with Spirit of Redemption, and in the end, he tried to escape with Frost Nova, but our Paladin gave Hand of Freedom to our Rogue, who then proceeded to rush up to the Mage and stab him to death.
That's an awesome teamwork story.
TheSilentStorm Thank you.
SirBlackMage Really nice story :) I remember my 79lvl pvp rogue on Lich king private server, helping low lvl's at booty bay, and warrior 80 was attaked me, it was him mistake :D Sorry for bad English :)
SANIAGAMER ''it was his mistake not him GRA GRA GRAMMAR POLICED i can't resist
Nobody cares bro.
10 years later and this is what it feels like trying to level using the exp bonus from War Mode.
This shit makes me kinda sad. 14 years of memorable moments. A lot of suffering and a lot of fun. I’m glad these videos still exist
When you get frustrated with campers so much that you have to write a song about it
Legion expansion coming now, and this song still rocking
BFA !!! haha
Classic now !
Years have past, yet still can't get over the memories forged in the heat of battle, tried to play BFA and SL.... none of those felt like the times past.... I will always remember my ol' friends charging to our epic mounts from Stormwind to Orgrimmar :) RIP Arthas, wow died with you.....
classic wow is out now, aka re releasing the old stuff
These gnomes have been living rent-free in my head for countless years.
I haven't seen this in forever, Still great!
Lord Kil'jaeden Also this video made me wanna camp blood elves more.

And so Chris Metzen, sitting high above the clouds of Azeroth, cried a single tear of buffing. As it fell towards the corpse of the fallen deathknight, a magical blessing occured.
He would now be able to take his garrison buildings and rotate them 5 degrees to the left...
I can’t belive it’s been over 10 years since this came out :O Feels like yesterday
Such a beautiful relationship in these two lovebirds, especially love the moment with the crocodile.
best nostalgia makes me cry, its best for old players.
nostalgia.................
when you really listen to song like these you realise they have the most creative, funny lyrics
10 yrs later, it's 11:42 pm an my wife an I are rockin to this song. Thank you for the bitch'n work you do!
ALL THESE YEARS AND THIS STILL HOLDS UP IN SOME SITUATIONS
Always will, nature of the game
Those backsinger gnomes could've helped you,y'know
I'm fine, I'm fine. *Smile crying*
I've always liked this song. It encapsulates the struggles of old Stranglethorn so well...
Cranius still lives in my heart. Awesome times!
When the song so good, I hold up my lighter
Has it really been 10 years?? Wow the nostalgia. This video never gets old.
nothing makes me want pure, unadultured pvp more than this video. Man I miss pvp vendors, pvp power levels and just...the whole experience driven by player skill AND drive
This is seriously the best and funniest wow video I have ever seen !!
2020 and I still fire up this song once and awhile
Damn this song defined my childhood.
A captivating story. A rollercoaster of emotion. It really has a little bit for everyone. 9.5/10
Anyone watching this in 2015? :)
yup :3
Right here :)
ofc xD
I'm remember the days of enjoyment from this game! Those days are gone for me..and I've moved on to other things. I'll always remember open world pvp for hours in vanilla and BC
☆ Nexuz ☆ Obviously!
I haven't played WoW in like a year and this is still funny LOL
Best WoW song ever.
2024 and I listen to this at least once every few months.. because its that awesome!!
Good old days..
1 week and we all get us our new mains!
Yeah, but no Death Knights so there's no point.
Not even a day now!
even in 2016
+real4o yep
tru dat....i used to sing this on Vent in Hellfire aka Gank and Grief Valley, esp for brandy-new DKs on a pvp server like Bleeding Hollow. I still remember telling my best friend Jaime that we were going to probably die of old age before we would get enough XP to level up so we could survive the run to Shatt. We didn't and we eventually did. Good times.
ya I was getting ganked by a entire guild
like scene from "Harry Potter and deathly hallows part 2" with Dumbledore and Severus snape:
-even in 2016, after all this time?
- Always.
and even in 2017
i just remember this pain
and skill those days
Please don't be deceived by my current situation
As unlikely as it seems, I'm a Pvp sensation
A legend in my time, not a legend in my mind
So if it's all the same don't make me get my main
Make me get my main (ahhhh)
Make me get my main (ahhhh)
So if you don't believe I'll arrange a demonstration
I was trying to spare you the pain of death and devastation
But if you must insist on camping me like this
Well prepare yourself for pain, cuz I'm gonna get my main
Gonna get my main (ahhhh)
Gonna get my main (ahhhh)
Well you've worn my patience thin and inflamed my aggrivation
Now my main will make you wish you'd observed my exhortation
Well it's too late now for you cuz your camping days are through
So just remember through the pain that you made me get my main
No! Wait! Ahhhh!
You killed my main (ahhh)
You killed my main (ahhh)
Holy shit thank you!!!! I thought he said "you'd observed my hex rotation" and I was so confused that didnt make any sense XD
BIG UPVOTE
2021 still reminds me old years❤
holy fuck i remember this 10 years later god damn... time has flown
Yup
i love the gnome backup singers
I know how it ends, but I always hope that getting his main will help, and every time I have this empty feeling afterwards T_T
