Gotta give it to Roger Craig Smith and Troy Baker. They had some HUGE shoes to fill in and they did a fantastic job.

I love how they brought back Robert Costanzo to play Harvey Bullock again. For those who don’t know, he voiced him in Batman: The Animated Series, and The New Batman Adventures.

I see it like this. Troy Baker creates a more menacing joker where as Mark Hamill's creates just an outright psychotic Joker. Personally I prefer Mark but having Troy voice the Joker in Batman Origins was a nice twist and fit very well!

Daniel Yoshida Actually, I heard it was Mark Hamill's personal decision to leave the role. I think we're very glad he came back for Arkham Knight. He also said he'd voiced the Joker in a direct-to-DVD movie adaption of "The Killing Joke".

I've instantly recognize Captain Gordon's voice heavily resembles the ones I hear in Skyrim. And upon research, he did voice acting of a lot of characters. It sounds so much the same as with Jarl balgruuf.

When playing through the game, I was pleasantly surprised by Troy Baker's Joker! I mean it truly did feel like a younger more explosive version of Mark Hamill's Joker and Troy nailed the punctuation and tone of voice really well!

Phenomenal voice actors. These individuals deserve more recognition than they currently have.
Let`s be honest, Roger Craig and Troy Bake had a really difficult job, which is to do the voices of Batman which Kevin Conroy is on a top level and the same with Joker which Mark Hamill is a legend, but they do it really good.

It's kind of annoying when people say "Kevin Conroy is the best Batman." Yes, he was the first to do Batman's voice and the most recognizable, but if Batman was first voiced by someone else then you all would be saying that person would be the best Batman.

Ok so what pisses me off is everyone is say troy baker was trying too hard to sound like mark. Here is the thing Origins was set two years roughly into batmans career and years prior to the events of Arkham Asylum the Joker in this game is a younger version of the jorker from Arkham Asylum and on. So It makes sense to sound a tad bit the the voice that you are trying to be a past younger version of. Now I love Mark as joker he is my favorite but Troy deserves a lot more credit then he is getting because he is a great joker he is the second best voice for joker I have heard
If Troy Baker thinks he can be Mark Hamill, make him voice Luke Skywalker in "Star Wars Rebels"....if they decide to have him on the show, that is.
'Tracey' was the most annoying voice I've ever heard. I wanted to finish that part of the game just so she would shut the hell up. That fight scene where she repeats the same 3 sentences over and over and over. Ugh drove me insane.

Nolan North has very good range when it comes to doing voices. You can't really tell that it's him doing Penguin. It sounds very distinct from his other voices.

Roger Craig Smith sounds so much better as Ezio Auditore,Chris Redfield,Deidara & Batman compared to his Sonic's voice and Troy Baker's voice is perfect as the Joker and even all the characters that Troy Baker has played.About Nolan North he's perfect as the Penguin and still the best voice of Nathan Drake in Uncharted. =D

I love Troy Baker. He voice acted in BioShock infinite. BioShock infinite is one of my favourite games of all time.
Batman and Joker were different yet similarly satisfying. I'd be happy to hear them in those roles more often. The Arkham games in general just have good voice actors, and a good open ended approach to their voice acting methods.

But Roger Craig Smith did provided another good Batman's voice though. There's a kind of aggressive tone in his performance as Batman.
Only thing I didn't like is how he spoke to Alfred. He was too aggressive and dismissive when he spoke to him. There's supposed to be a certain amount of love and respect there.

Love the whole cast, but if anyone didn't know, the guy who voiced Detective Harvey Bullock in the game, Robert Costanzo, also voiced the character in Batman: The Animated Series! I had to look it up and I found out today, even when watching the animated series. He also voiced Joe Barbaro in Mafia 2! I have played the game before, but I didn't watch the animated series until last year and I was shocked, even when I found out he was in FRIENDS in an episode in Season 1. The guy is an amazing actor and voice actor!
Other movies/shows Robert Costanzo was in: Total Recall (1980), FRIENDS (as Joey Tribbiani's father), NCIS, Muder She Wrote, etc.
I just like to point out that the Batman and Joker in Origins were... Young. It would make sense to change up the voice actors to match how they were in game, and you have to admit they did a good job. I know they aren't as good as the originals, but give them credit at least.

No one can replace Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamil but Roger Craig Smith did a good job by doing his own voice which is unique where as Troy Baker just trying imitate Mark Hamil which is sometimes kinda not felt right at some places. But he did good job.

+Brandon Trollsten That's basically what it is. From what I understand he literally was taught the role by Hamill, since Hamill retired from the role (even though he keeps coming back to it anyway). Sort of like how voice actors for all the iconic characters like Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, etc all tend to have apprentices on standby for the roles. The Mickey Mouse actor died not that many years ago and was replaced by the apprentice actor, and Kasey Kasem (Scooby Doo), taught and endorsed Mathew Lillard to replace him.
