@dm8inYes it does. this Joker can only know about the reference if Batman does. if Batman didn’t know it, it wouldn’t be said by a hallucination in his mind
@dm8in it’s not the Joker. It’s a hallucination in Batman’s mind that manifests whenever he is afraid. When Batman thinks Barbara is dead, the Joker hallucination manifests because of the fear toxin. When he has to save the firefighters, he is worried he may not be fast enough to save them and the Joker appears once again to tell Batman he can’t. When Batman “becomes” Joker, it’s just the fear toxin kicking in and causing his worst fear to come to pass, becoming the Joker and being an unstoppable force of destruction.
@dm8in Batman knows that Jason was tortured because of the marks and the branding Jason had when Joker sent the video. That's also why Joker tells Batman that Jason Todd was dead at a few points in the game and only backtracked at the reveal
I think it’s kinda cool how a lot of the scenes show how borderline mythical Batman is to these guys that they expect him to win and are disappointed or surprised that he died instead regardless of what they put him up against.
It'd be really cool if, depending on how well you did in the fight, they had more respect for you. Like, if you had almost taken Bane down and he managed to crank out the win, he'd be impressed instead of disappointed.

He's voiced by Philippe Peytieux, who remained the consistent French voice for Danny DeVito. He's always came back voicing the Penguin whenever he appeared on animated TV shows, movies, and the Arkham game series.
The French voice of the Joker in these games is also the same as in Batman the Animated series (and related media, like Mask of the Phantasm). That's Pierre Hatet, better known for the iconic voice of Doc Brown in Back to the Future.
Who's David DeVito?
@@satanamogila9251 Danny* sorry. That's weird. I can be careless but that was problably my Phone when I was typing.
@@shibitoobscura3348 capitalized phone?
@@satanamogila9251 If that means what I think it means. Plus, the keyboard is French so it tends to turn what I type into French words when I write in English.

I just love how the hallucination of Joker is afraid of Batmans defeat 😂 thats a real good patnership 😂
I wish more superhero games would use gameovers like this, it's so much fun seeing the villains gloat in their own unique ways.
*_I wish it too_*

Coming back to this. I feel like this is the saddest, even though Robin can hold his own
Ridler always gets me with his smirk
22:51 ya know joker? That may just be one of the nicest things you ever said
The one that gave me chill was when joker says “aren’t you supposed to you be up in your feet trying to stop me” but he wasn’t laughing or anything he sounded sane. 😶
