If you build up a good reputation here on YT and can keep it, that's quite a feat. I have seen many a channel grow "big" and then consequently ruin it all by changing things, by posting less, or by going for the easy sponsorships. Not talking about "solid" sponsorships but just going along with... whatever. It is hard to build a channel and followers but it is a delicate balance. I often wonder WTH people are thinking by changing a good thing or by focusing *too much* on their analytics to decide what kind of content to post. You have to have a good head on your shoulders and not lose focus of why you started to post in the first place, because that is, after all, how you gained all those subscribers (and you can as quickly lose them all).
I really really appreciate all of the knowledge you’ve always shared with us Dr Dray! I do have to say, your audio has been sounding super muffled. Anyone else feel this way?

I started using the Gold Bond retinol lotion a week ago and I can tell a difference. I wanted my legs to look so much better for my upcoming cruise. Once empty I will purchase another bottle! Love, love, love it! Thank you for sharing this great treasure.
You'll see even better results over time! I'm not sure the retinol does much, but the formula is amazing. I buy the massive pump bottles, then put it in a fancy jar to use an ounce at a time. Unbelievable how affordable it is, esp with so many much less impressive creams selling for $20-100/oz.

@@nubbyrose87 Gold Bond has a neck cream that I swear vastly outshines samples I’ve tried of Perricones, Nias, etc.! It feels like it adds texture to my skin.
I've got to remember to pick up the GB retinol lotion. It's been on my list since she mentioned it.
@@montananerd8244I think it was Dr. Dray who mentioned to keep products in their original packaging as it has been tested to be effective for the stabilization of a product. By changing it out of its original packaging you are effecting it’s stability and making the product less effective
I’ve been using La Roche-Posey niacinamide 10 serum for a year since I bought 5 bottles in France and I think it’s a fantastic product. My dark spots almost completey faded by now. BTW, i’m not your age, I’m 65 and my mature skin loves this product.
Is the smell really offensive?
I started using the Gold Bond retinol lotion a couple weeks ago and it is so good! It's quickly becoming my favorite. This one & the pure moisture are incredible. Gold bond for the win! 🥰 Something new I recently tried is the Trader Joe's sunscreen you reviewed a while back. It's finally back! 😁 Love it! SO JEALOUS you got to meet Kerry Washington. I would have been so star struck 🤩

I started using it too. I have super sensitive skin (allergic to 95% of face cream). The day after using it my skin is really dry. (I just put extra moisturizer on and that soothes it.) I just use it every 5 days or so. My skin is looking much better.
I still love that kerasel ointment you recommended years ago. good stuff. loving that gold bond cream too. there are so many products you've recommended over the years that I love, and my mom likes them too. thank you❤ I hope your mom is doing ok as well as Tybee. Take care❤
I've been happy with the Aquation body retinol you recommended long ago. Not tested on animals, not expensive, lasts a long time! Thank you Dr Dray. 🌟

I just ordered the vionic slippers in sunflower. This color was $35. I like the summery color and it’s almost 50% less than some of the other colors.
I applied GB on my face after HA serum and it is fabulous even with my sensitive skin!!😊

I bought the La Roche Posay serum and I love it. I am in Canada, and the product is marked made in France. I find it doesn't smell much. I use a single drop at night with my other night products.

I just bought I’m from Rice cream and Mugwort cream and my skin glows. I was using Tatcha’s dewy cream but its so expensive and these are better!

@@Joannabanana1989 I’ve recently segued into Korean skin care and blown away by their efficacy and they’re just cosmetically elegant! I enjoy using them and it’s just a pleasure applying them to my skin. I’m seeing quick results as well. Imho, they’re at par and even better to their western counterparts and they’re very affordable yet efficacious. So much choices I can’t even decide what to order next but I’m looking forward to try a lot of them xD

I'm curious about the Gold Bond one but the retinol is like the 19th ingredient on the list. Overall the ingredients list looks good but with retinol being that low I'm not sure if it's really worth investing in when we really don't know just how much is in there. I wish Gold Bond was more transparent about the % of it.
Same. The versed body lotion says their % on their website, but I do love the gold bond and actually switched from versed to the gold bond body retinol
Dr. Dray explained on another video that the placement of an ingredient on the list is not important, neither is the percentage. Because the product also has delivery ingredients in the mix that greatly affect the absorption. It's all about the formulation. One product with .5% might actually deliver more than another product with 1.5% depending on the other ingredients in the product! Who knew? Thanks Dr. Dray!

I use the niacinamide serum as prep for my retinol routine. The fragrance goes away very quickly and even if it stays it’s very subtle. My biggest complaint about it is the the of container they chose for it which is awful for the product’s viscosity
I’ve been struggling to find a good face moisturizer. The gold bond has been great and can’t beat the price.
I got the Advanced Clinicals Body retinol based on your recommendation. I just used it for the first time today and it didn't; disappoint! Can't wait for the long term results!

Love your content Dr. Dray! I will say, the kerasal ointment has made a HUGE difference for my dry feet that I could never exfoliate enough. But, when I stopped going barefoot at home I started having foot pain, which led me to learn about barefoot and minimalist shoes as well as the importance of strengthening the feet to decrease foot pain. 1/4 of all your joints and muscles are in your feet! They were made to be free, move, and be strong. Haha I've become passionate about it apparently 😅

Are the slippers true to size? I have their boots and true to size but the sandals I need smaller. I used to get them at a local store but they don’t carry vionic anymore so now have to buy online but hard buying shoes/slippers online. Thank you

I love Gold Bond. It's owned by Sanofi and I'm sure they don't want to spoil their reputation as a drug company. I've noticed since their ownership they have upgraded some ingredients in some Gold Bond products. I think that they want Gold Bond to be regarded like a CereVe, Neutrogena, etc.

So many positive things said about it in the comment section. I would love to get the Trader Joe's sunscreen but the nearest one to me is 3 hours away. I also wonder whether they checked with a legal team. It looks a lot the original and usually companies stay away from obvious dupes like that.
@@sovrappensiero1 The "original" is likely the exact same manufacturer. Lots of items you buy, even ones with a brand name, are often blended and packaged at the same facility. This is because certain regulatory requirements may need to be met and it's easier to outsource it to a larger production facility which already meets these requirements regardless of whether your company is named "Kroger" or "CeraVe". There are a lot more products like this than people realize - blended by a third party who may create them for 2-5 companies.
@@melissas4874 That's a good point. But if they're the same manufacturer, that doesn't mean they are the same brand making the two different products. So if the more expensive brand has trademarked some/all of it's packaging look (is that possible? maybe not), then they could sue the other brand for infringement of that - something like "costing them profits by causing customers to become confused and accidentally purchase an unintended product." But if both products are made by the same brand...then yeah I guess they wouldn't sue themselves LOL. I know there are a lot of similar "dupes" like on Amazon but I heard that's just because it's virtually impossible to prosecute a Chinese brand that's just making copycats and shipping them overseas to U.S. customers. I'm not sure about a product that sold on the shelves of a U.S. grocery store.

@@sovrappensiero1 they’d only get sued if it’s 1. It’s ever brought to the original brand’s attention 2. The original brand decides it’s worth their time and money to sue them (either they see it’s eating into significant profits, or they’re just petty like Nintendo who even sues artists for making fan art lol) 3. The original brand’s legal team looks at issue and feels there is any likelihood that their has any potential to win/any merit vs being thrown out or losing

She just did a video on hair loss from ozempic specifically, but it also has general info on why you might be suffering from hair loss (i.e., stress factors, weight loss).

You'll love it!!! Best skincare purchase I've made in years!!! 3 months ago I had to use 3-5 different moisturizers each day to hydrate & keep the moisture locked in. Now I just use a gold Bond cream in the AM & PM, even if skip my long routine, my skin will be healthy looking & I don't really get dry or oily during the day, my skin feels balanced until it dries out around 6-7 pm, right before I replenish it

I love the good bond retinol too. I have been using their foot repair cream also. I use it prior to putting my house socks on at the end of the day. I have come to enjoy both products from them.
I love my vionic slippers too. I bought my pair in 2018 and yeah you are right they last forever. My mother's podiatrist was impressed when she asked if she should wear them. She was scheduled for foot surgery and was worried about post op care. Good video. Thanks

Waking up, brushing my teeth and just putting a giant glob of sunscreen on my face, neck and hands has been my entire am skincare for years now. Whenever I try to add an active in the morning, like niacinamide or azelaic acid I just ruin my skin barrier 😅

Also, I got some of the new gold bond per your recommendation last month and I really like it also. I was happy to learn on this video that you use tretinoin and forgo putting the gold bond on your face. You said a second retinal product is not necessary. I’ll keep that in mind. I was applying it after my tretinoin. soaked in, but I can always use something different like Eucerin. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, wisdom, and opinions as always.
