rear three quarter for me, but to be honest this car looks absolutely perfect from any angle. btw, this is definitely the best car review in youtube and mainly because of Matt's hilarious performance.
owning an alfa is like "u love it but u hate.....but u actually love it.....but well indeed u hate it..........but at the end of the day u still love it
+Mohamed Bishr Sports car being unpractical was an issue of 20years ago. Not in 2016. A cayman is proper sports car that you can drive daily your whole life.
+Bora Markovic well there are other sports cars that are more pratical then a cayman. Some of them have space for 5 people. And bags. And a cayman for daily drive? Only if you don't have kids. And don't go to the supermarket.
Well said, Mohamed... I daily drove my 91 Alfa Romeo 164S for almost a year. While fast and roomy for a sedan, no Alfa is practical. You just love em, if you love to drive cars.
+MrHitman246 there is no way that alfa is going to sell, it's too flashy and tacky, and it's trying to be a bmw 3 series or audi a4 too much for me to consider it above them.
Gassn Vains I agree. However, most of us who drive manual do so not because we want to be the fastest. We do it because of the pure driving pleasure. Nothing beats driving a manual car hard through the country. Having complete control, having to rev match on your down shifts and time your changes for the exit without some computer doing it for you. If I wanted to win a race. I'd buy a dual clutch auto. If I wanted to enjoy an true driving experience, I'd buy a manual.
After driving a manual for hundreds of thousands of kilometers I need to say I'm not missing it. I don't want it back, not for a moment, in fact I hate the manual box so much, I remember dreading going to work every day with one. It's fun on B roads though. But then again you also get the same amount of fun with paddles on a ZF8HP box or a DCT. Manual is dead and it should stay dead.
Yeah it's kinda nice but to be honest I would prefer comeback of legendary Fiat Coupe. Instead, they killed that great car so that the Alfa gets to build their sporty image. And don't even get me started about Lancia's fate in group. Fucking Alfa!
Guys, this is an Alfa Romeo. I would have this almost over anything. Even though it's expensive this is an enthusiast's car not some rich guy's toy. It captures the essence of driving pleasure and that is priceless these days....
needraintodrift I'm commenting late here but I saw a 4c today irl and it was stunning so I came to watch this. This is a car I would by if I'm able to afford it some day :)
being a serial classic 911 owner, I made the switch to a 4C in November and I'm loving this car... almost 5000kms done in the past 4ish months, the launch edition came with all the goodies like parking sensors and all, its a small car so rear visibility is not much of an issue while parking, however the main concern is always the 3/4 visibility, that's annoying when you want to change lanes at speed, and exiting the car is very undignified... still better than a lotus elise and the exige, but if you're into practicality, defs go for the cayman... but this car sounds better and I love cornering speeds on it and the way it handles it... steering isnt the best in a straight line... its weird to say this, but it is true... needs a tighter rack.
The steering is very sensitive to tyre pressures. The manual says they should be 25 front and 29 rear. If they are in the 30's the car is very light on centre.
Thanks Matt for the review. Lot of downsides to the 4C but i've got my heart set on buying one. Love it, like it and live it. Like your car review Matt. Your funny comments make me laugh. Like the basic shortness of the reviews as well. Keep up the great reviews. Think the 4C looks beautiful. I would hug it too.
The split segment ruse from half way through the video made me laugh :-) Matt does the most amusing car videos on the web whilst still taking the car seriously!
actually that's not launch control, when it's holding the revs you have to pull the downshift paddle then the revs go even higher and it lunches on full boost
Very cool video. Was waiting for carbuyer to review this car for months now. Unfortunately I have not yet seen the Alfa 4C in real life here in Hamburg, Germany.
Yes, Matt should be on TG. I hear they are getting some cricketer to fill in for the Friends star. Did Matt do a used car show a few years ago with some female Porsche racer. Any way, good honest review.. it’s good but not perfect but it is a proper beautiful Alfa for the connoisseur. Rarity means its value will appreciate.
By making this car totally uncompromised/uncomfortable, Alfa have managed to arrange things so that the only people seen driving this car are the ones who really want it-- not just flabby old farts with oodles of cash. What a fantastic way to advertise this car as an enthusiast's machine, rather than one of many irrelevant flights of fancy for the affluent. That, paired with the pricing, makes this car one of Alfa Romeo's smartest branding exercises.
Handling is the soul of a sports car, and the 4C doesn't. Porsche Cayman is the perfect car. The naturally aspirated sounds great, pulls great. The precision and the way it steer is tremendous. How can a little 4C beat the Cayman with similar price tag?
Surprised the styling gets the thumbs up. I can't say I like it myself. Looks like a Lotus with a weird front grill. Like the headlight and indicator enclosure but generally don't like the front, sides or rear. Also the interior looks naff. I understand its all about the driving experience though. I'd like to know how it drives compared to a Lotus Elise because it looks like a very similar design at least externally.
Matt should be in The Top Gear!!
Yeah he sud be he would be grate but not as good a clarkson
Yea but certainly better than the new ones...
+Ayrton Newcombe-bland no one will ever be as good as Clarkson, Clarkson made Top Gear, Top Gear
+Blue .Krzeminski ikr not the same if him of radio 2 dose it 😪
No mr.bean should be the new top gear presenter 😂 (rowan atkinson)
rear three quarter for me, but to be honest this car looks absolutely perfect from any angle.
btw, this is definitely the best car review in youtube and mainly because of Matt's hilarious performance.
Way more an eyecatcher then the Boxter will ever be
Not really.
@@odinikita4821 said the Gooling, Fuling.....
@@odinikita4821 yes really, the only cayman that loogs good is the gt4, wich is twice the price
@user-mt3zz7hk2e ok then , good for you, enjoy your 4c and I'll enjoy my cars.

I feel like a King everytime i get inside my 156GTA 😊
U´re sick to hate this best car evver built( in MY specs ) 🤣
TK🇳🇴
Of course it is not practical, this car is a sport car my friend :)
+Mohamed Bishr Yeah but a similarly priced Cayman is more practical.
+Mohamed Bishr Sports car being unpractical was an issue of 20years ago. Not in 2016. A cayman is proper sports car that you can drive daily your whole life.
+Bora Markovic the 4c isnt supposed to be a daily driver, its much more track oriented than a cayman

agreed what a beautiful car.
+MrHitman246 If they ever get round to putting it on sale..
+MrHitman246 there is no way that alfa is going to sell, it's too flashy and tacky, and it's trying to be a bmw 3 series or audi a4 too much for me to consider it above them.
+MrHitman246 yeah, sure..they've been trying fpor decades.
+derbigpr500 Actually you are right...it looks like a 3-series copy not an A4!
I own a 4C. Love the car, handling, style, sound. Wish it was manual thoughl!!!!!

Phil ER I think you missed why people like manuals. It isn’t the speed of the shifts.
@@philer9670 you clearly haven't driven a car in your life

love matt's presentation and humour!
Great review. The Italian standard then. Gorgeous to look at. Difficult to live with. Nice one Carbuyer.
this guy does the best reviews ever keep it up. You constantly do a fantastic job at reviewing cars
Dunno man, i don't see a future for him at all
@@CaptHotah wow I now realize I been watching his reviews this long for cars I’d never buy lol
I'm not sure I've had so much fun watching one of your reviews, Matt! Well done!
Art, passion and technical perfection that only Alfa can bring together in one car.
I dream of having one for myself one day.
VoloKin Project You will!!
Oscar Dominguez I'm working on it:) Thanks for the encouragement.
VoloKin Project you will Make it easily!

saw this car today in person, it's so beautiful, and the exhaust is marvelous
Me and my step dad absolutely love this car! Hope he gets one!!😍🤤
Quite sexy.
The car is nice too.
When i've heard Matt's voice I already knew that this will be great review :)
Remember when he was still on Carbuyer

Don't leave Carbuyer, Matt!!!
Danyal Sarwar hes at carwow now
Danyal Sarwar look at him now, competing with top gear
we love you matt!!
Nice to see Matt is back.
Great review! I wish that Alfa Romeo have made an Alfa Romeo 4c quadrifoglio 🍀
I've been waiting for this episode of car buyer since the 4c was made
Glad 👍 Matt is back

Matt rules! :D
1st - I still prefer Alfa 8C
2nd - This car should be manual
The 8C is a £120,000+ car mate.
Martin Allen Yeah... but most of us can't afford £50 000 4C as well, so as a dream car I prefer C8... spider ;)
+benzfen 3rd - if it has no gas-strut on the hatch it should have roll up windows.
Of course you prefer the 8c... everybody does! It’s also Koeniggsegg money at £200k+ 😡
I'm buying the Giulia 2.2 Diesel.. I can't wait!!
One of the best-looking cars I have ever seen.

I just saw Alfa Romeo today was so amazing never had of alfa romea bt today I discovered something new
Matt is the best person for car reviews.
Holy shit this car is sexier than Rebecca 😍😍
looollol
No way
No no no Rebecca is much much better 😉🤣
... and Rebecca is pretty sexy!
Another simply superb video review. Thank you Matt.

thank God he's back
At least they got Matt back for the ultimate dream car, good old Alfa

We can see him in Carwow, but miss him here in Carbuyer
4c=MINI FERRARI
one of ur best reviews man...

Mat is BACK!!
Ever since I first saw the Alfa 4C - reminds me of the Stinger from Grand Theft Auto 3
You buy this thing for weekends.. but I would take the Spider version, without the sport package.
He's back

How about now!?

Hey carbuyer o would love to see more reviews on sports cars the lotus Evora or the new suburu wrx

Looking back at this video and its worth 70K minimum in italy rn !!!
I just had to double check if Carbuyer have already reviewed this car and I'm surprised they didn't as this car is already three years old..
Finally mat is back 👍🏻
Massive silver drilled and slotted brake discs would make that perfect!
Matt is awesome. Great review. Hilarious!
it has faults, sure. other cars are more practical, sure. but this is an Alfa. it's bloody special. it's gorgeous. it has a soul.
The 4c is like a person thats is like i hate you, i love you
We miss you!!

Good review. Good looking car. It reminds me of Lotus Elisa.
Awesome review!
I would love it if you could review latest BMW M6 GranCoupe
Will be a future classic
idk if i want this i think imma have to test drive it to see how i really feel about it
Mat watson is the king of car reviews
I just bought an Alfa Veloce (28 BHP) and LOVE it. Then I saw the 4c and now I wish I had bought one of those instead!!! What a beauty.
I'd like to see a Lotus Exige review. -Thanks.
please do a review on the new ford everest. Will be very helpfull.
I like the front, but all and all what a beautiful car!
Sometime I wonder what other jobs Matt does?
+MARKINAU8 Yeh he's filming for carwow and also his own TV show
+Artur Cerva What TV show he has?
+SwPiotrek it's on ITV 4, not sure of the name. Sorry mate.
He sells Avon and Ann Summers.
+MARKINAU8 Professional Brummie.
Matt, you hugged the Alfa’s rump! 🤣😂🤣
Beautiful car... aaahhh one day, one day!
Best car review ever ! Not so far the Alfa..
That rear... fucking crazy
love how this car looks
Aren't dental chairs actually rather comfy?
Think he means the ones in the waiting room mate they are appalling compared to the actual chair haha
It needs the classic clover Alfa rims. It's a dream.
Front three quarters view ! Cool !
I do wish they got rid of the insect headlights. I think they changed them for the US version
In launch control doesn't the car change gear for you for optimum acceleration? Just seems weird he cocked up the gear change.

It´s a peace of art. I saw one today. In red. I took some fotos.
I like the 4C in general. I'm not that picky about specific looking angles. There, I said it.
This first stuff he says reminds me of the movie The World's End.
You did not mention depreciation? Like snow melting off a wall.
Definitely agree with you Matt!
Did you know this is the exact Alfa Romeo 4C that was in top gear?? The colour and number plate are the same. See if u can see the connection.
Mat could make a great Top Gear host.
Front 3/4 is stunning
pretty car, but why did you needed to shift manually after using the launch control? it is an automatic gearbos so..
The aestethics is the only thing I personally dislike about it
Rear 3/4 is so amazing
Handling is the soul of a sports car, and the 4C doesn't. Porsche Cayman is the perfect car. The naturally aspirated sounds great, pulls great. The precision and the way it steer is tremendous. How can a little 4C beat the Cayman with similar price tag?
2:35; that was funny when he did the conclusion in the middle of the video.
Beautiful car.. i miss my 159 now :(
at 1:16 you can see that the signal light lever is from a Ford not from Alfa.
