I just watched every second of this. Thank you. I cried first, then laughed, then I felt like you put me back into the motivation I needed. I do understand that PTSD, comparisons of myself and others (I come from a family of doctors, I'm the black sheep), and what is crazy is that I am the one that teaches myself a 2nd language, and I am self teaching ASL, all because I WANT TO.. and everything I have done has been beneficial in my life already. I KNOW I can be anything I want. I'm a very eager person. I took the OK P&C exam last week. Idk what my score in percentage was but I needed 19 more points to pass. I imagine that is probably not very good. After watching this video, among your others, if I am capable of teaching myself other things at random, then why CAN'T I do this? I did my crying and self pity, but this opportunity, is what I WANT for my family and an achievement for ME. I've literally had been made to feel that I just can't, due to my past. I'm the everyone doesn't talk to at family gatherings bc I'm not a doctor, dentist or in the Olympics. I WANT a "new" judgment day and oh how sweet it will be when I pass! Ty, I'm not giving up. It's more than a job, it's a plethora of reasons why this particular success is important to me. One thing though, I do feel like I need a study buddy!! It's the morning of my exam. I have never studied for anything so hard in my life. The last 5 days 10 hours a day, I can barely sleep, I've put on my weight and the stress has made my hair fall out in clumps. I looked up today and realized that Christmas is in a few days and I've done nothing. This thing has taken over my life and I am done. I just want it over with. I dont give a shit at this point whether I pass or not or lose my job opportunity in the process. Nothing is worth me losing my health and sanity.
