Unfortunately, no, it isn't. I believe all whales, no matter how large, are still carnivores. While larger animals eat almost exclusively krill, that still makes them carnivores, and therefore makes the blue whale the largest carnivore ever
@@segwayss Mate, you’re not making any sense. A sauropod would be unable to sustain a carnivorous diet. It isn't a carnivore. This video is about the largest Theropods. Most Theropods were carnivores, but there were some acceptions. Deinocheirus is the only one on this list that isn't carnivorous, and also is the largest known non carnivorous theropods.
Most likely, although if you want to stick with completely reliable estaments it would be Scotty. Cope's estaments are most likely decently accurate though.
Copium is the 2nd largest, with it's weight being debunked to 11 tonnes. The true largest tyrannosaurus specimen is Bertha, with a weight of 12 tonnes. I think that we have to wait until tyrannosaurus shows it's true form😪
@@thelonerex I don't think Bertha has an official size estament yet. She definitely could be larger, but I til that official estament comes out we can't be sure.

Argentina better step it up before T.Rex leaves the Giga in the dust. Still love my Carcha and Spino duo though, will always be my favorites.
That's actually a great question, and you're right on track. T. Rex is probably the most famous dinosaur in history, which encourages people to study it. T. Rex news always makes headlines, and sometimes thats what people are after. And you're right, we have found so many Tyrannosaurus fossils that we have the entire skeleton. And, as someone else mentioned, a big part of that is because the USA has such an extensive paleontology program. Few countries have such a large system. Another issue is access to the land. Many digsites around the US can be found on private land, and a contract is worked out between them. That is much more difficult to do sometimes in other countries. In short, yes T. rex is much more well studied than any other animal on this list, though I'm not sure if that has any bearing on whether it should hold these records.
