thank you .. I later found out that one of the wheels was sticking (this is also why I had a little problem at take off the turn to the left was not just motor torque but also the left wheel was not running free ) and not running free - I think that as it was slowing down that wheel locked and the Zero tipped over -
Yes it is quite strange how some do and some don't - I had to add a lot , I cannot help but think that I might have made the tail end heavy during the Rudder repair on assembly - but is was a lot of weight I had to add... but flying it is great.
Thanks Gina - It really did surprise me as I was expecting it to be a bit of an handful - but is was so gentle - fantastic - Yes it was shame about that wheel being stiff on the axel - I think it was due to my actions, as I like to put a pot of foamtac glue over the "C" clips holding the wheels on , and I must have put more on that one than I should have and it got onto the axel - I will strip that left wheel down and correct the fault... thanks for watching - and enjoy your flying time :-)
She really did surprise me, I thought out of all the FMS 800mm this one might be the one that gives me problems - but after this flight and watching your video about the F4U (thanks for the video), I think I have been proven wrong.. and I am very please I was.. Love the way this Zero Fly's .....
EXCELLENT what a well behaved kite typical Japanese.. Inscrutable... Lucky ah sol think I pronounced that right not great with the lingo hahahahahahaha. Brilliant bit of flying martyn NO as3x pure stick work well done. Stay lucky Brian
AR SO - is how I say it - Tora Tora Tora.... OHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHH.... Brian I am over the moon on this one - I am convinced that If the Left wheel had been free I am sure she would not have nosed over and played dead..... I thought I did a great landing (If I don't mind saying so myself).... and they say you cannot teach and old dog new tricks - it was not until the speed bleed off that the wheels friction became too much and locked the wheel....
Hi friend, I am building one for me, with 70cm wingspan and is weighing 320gr / 11,29oz with a 3s 850mah lipo in the nose, but it still tail heavy. How much weighs yours? Nice warbird!
So close to a butter landing! The approach was damn near perfect

I didnt have to add any nose weight I just had esc and 1000 3s all the way foward

It’s a really good flying Zero. I also cruise at half throttle doing almost anything.
