I've always prayed for the surgeon to have Jesus' eyes and hands while he worked on me. Sure, it was traumatic each time initially before arriving back at hospital unexpectedly due to another retina fall, and I've had so many injections around my eye I've lost count, but all through I trusted God because he gave me life. I came across your video because I’ve been thinking about purchasing a Cameo and I was concerned about the font. From all the videos I’ve seen including yours, that doesn’t seem to be an issue. I had originally planned to get a personal size Canterbury but they are not currently available and won’t be back in stock until mid 22. So I may get this one as it has so many positive reviews. Hi Mike, I appreciate your kindness regarding my eyesight. I have a nice fresh bump on my forehead I got today...somethings on my right I just cananot see due to much of my retina being missing! That eye cannot focus either, so its not much of an eye really. A pretend one! We had to hang a very heavy door that fell off its hinges today...old cottage, always something.....and once done I needed to fit a new place for the latch....bent down to see it clealy and bashed my skull on the side of the door! I've hit my head on the right side on things more times than I care to admit to. There's no vision to the right...completely blind, so unless I turn my head.....oh well. Anyway, the Cameo.....a great personal size bible. Exact same size as my Schuyler Quentel personal size which is slightly thicker being NKJV. If both your eyes work ok you'll appreciate the Cameo. The Cambridge one is superior to the CBP one, but that being said, CBP is less pricey and has the same text....just not as nice paper. and not as slim as the Cambridge. The CBP has more info material in the back making it thicker. The opacity of the Cambridge's paper makes it work so well, plus it's not as thick a bibe as the CBP either. Just a better bible in my opinion. I know that the Canterbury's in personal size won't be available till mid 2022.....was looking. I love that size bible. Sorry I wroe a book! Mike, It just occurred to me to ask, have you considered the Cambride Concord Reference bible? I just got mine out and have been reading it this evening and it's one of the all-time best bibles at that in-between size nearer smallish than large in the hand. Now, I don't believe I have done a review despite having mine in calf-split for 2 years. The calf-split stands nicely in the hand and is not floppy like some goatskin covers are. Great type size bordering between conventional 9 and 10pt but is Cambridges 8.5pt...or is it 8pt? It's so good to read....I am reading it now without glasses or anyting...don't read with glasses except on videos so I don't mess up. So, think about it. God bless!

No, Jeannie, my surgeon told me immediately after my last 2 hour one in April '19, under general anaesthetic, that they can't do anything more for me. But, he has assured me that if I have any trouble at all he will take care of me. He and I are confident that the retina is in place with the buckle and dense oil, and so far I am fine. My recovery has been ongoing because it has always needed monitoring.
