Cris bro San Josecalifornia. Silicon Valley an average apartment goes for 2500 a month one bedroom a one bedroom studio goes for 1000 to 1500 a month not including utilities Internet and trash. It’s hard living here minimum wage is 15 but doesn’t mean anything if prices keep going up.

I was caught by surprise with the functional bonuses she has there - it is much better than any apartment I've ever lived in in the USA. And I'm talking up to $1500/mo. Also, I bet the ceiling doesn't flood in water. In the USA they don't really know how to build roofs, so every place I have ever lived has flooded with water coming in through holes in the ceiling, doing $100s-1000s of damage to my personal possessions.

Da Nang is very affordable, but again, there are no long-term visas (greater than 30 days at the moment unless it's a business visa, investment visa, or 5-year exemption visa). Vietnam also does NOT offer a retirement visa at all. None exists for Vietnam. You are still just a short-term renter, no matter how you want to view it, and Landlords all require a deposit which you will lose if you can't remain in the country. And we all know that Vietnamese landlords can have you out for any reason, on a whim if he feels like it and there is no legal recourse on your end. Landlords in Vietnam also require a security deposit and your Passport info to protect themselves and rightfully so.
