The Bulls won six championships because of Scottie. talked to several bulls and they all said this, others have videos on tape saying this and MJ stated this in his doc. MJ was a tough person to be around, and when he played the game, he wanted to score, but him scoring dont win championships. When no one else could, Scottie was able to be the gap between MJ and everyone else on the court and his play allowed MJ to shine but the team to win. False. MJ's time was passing and Krause knew it. Like many good GM's, he decided to cash in on the future, and usher in new talent. The Bulls team he grew after MJ was outstanding. People tend to forget how amazing the Baby Bulls were and how Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry were injuries away from being twin towers. Chandler was projected to be a 35ppg, 20 rebound machine while Curry showed promise he would be a better version than Shaq. Everyone wants to see the MJ era with some rose-tinted glasses. Truth is, MJ was a very mediocre athlete who paid refs to look the other way. I was alive back then. One time MJ missed a dunk, and they still counted it. This happened often.
When the Bulls lost to the Jazz twice in the Finals, I was there live. The gathered everyone in attendence and gave them a choice. Either accept a cash payment of $2000 and keep our mouths shut about who really won, or they shot people on sight. I witnessed many people dying that day. I accepted $2000. This is what really happened and I hope the truth comes out one day. I'm still shook at how the NBA and the media are corrupted at the core.

I think the real slap in the face to Scottie was the actual "slap in the face" from Oakley when Pip was a rookie. I had never seen that piece of video until The Last Dance. You know MJ had full authority to keep that in the documentary or take it out. If MJ really thought of Pip as his "little brother" he could have made sure that wasn't included. I think that was just one of the things that pissed Scottie off not to mention that he was branded as being selfish for delaying his surgery which caused him to miss some of the season. If Jordan had showed solidarity with Scottie they both would have gotten new contracts. I don't think Scottie was jealous of Jordan. MJ cultivated Scottie and mentored him into greatness. Scottie and MJ's journey was one thing and one thing only, " Winning Rings." Every flaw, every character defect was part of the ingredients, that arguably gave the basketball world the greatest tandem,to ever grace our vision. Scottie didn't win without MJ and MJ didn't win without Scottie. Neither switched teams,as is the case now days. They stayed committed to knowledge and confidence of winning together. I lived across the street from the Bulls stadium. I knew close people on the inside and people within their social lives. I was there. It was a nasty vicious glorious ride. Scottie was an A-hole in clubs, and throughout Chicago, he was known as "NO-Tippin' Pippen." He would call women to his table then diss them for coming over... so I am not shocked by this. Scottie to me is so damaged from his time with the Bulls and it’s in large part because he failed to address certain things that were bothering him. Leaving things bottled inside will lead to someone carrying alot of grudges, and these grudges are what led to moments like relucting not to go back into the game, not offering his condolences to Michael when his father passed away, and now trying to give his side of the story in what being a teammate to Michael Jordan was like for him. This to me isn’t a good look for Scottie, and I just hope he gets help in getting over the things he found unfair to him.

I did not know of his plight but because of what he is calling The Michael Jordan Show I now know any sympathize. That all said, the truth can be sweet but it can hurt too. Fact is that Scottie folded under pressure. Migraine game and sitting during Kucoc's game winner against New York, these things actually happened. What was The Last Dance doing but telling the story of the Jordan era Bulls? Are those stories not part of it? For heavens sake Scottie, it didn't make you look bad, it WAS bad. But it certainly made the front office look WORSE and it should have. Scottie's mad about money. He made about 106.5 million dollars (at a minimum) more in 17 years than I have in a lifetime that's first off. Second off, nothing was stopping him from getting endorsements. Not like nobody knew his name. He needs to stop crying and move on he would be an excellent addition to any coaching staff, front office, or sports media. Go get your money there Scottie.

What's Scottie hurting from, the fact that HE chose to not come into that game in 1994 or the fact it was in th documentary? They brought up MJ's issues in "The Last Dance" as well. Scottie made a poor decision back in 94 (we all do, were human). But he wants to still hide from it and pretend it never happened. It's a REAL part of the 90's Bulls story, ESPECIALLY since it was Kukoc that hit the shot (and all the grief Pip and MJ gave Kukoc in the 92 Olympics).
Scottie has been hiding from that play in 94 ever since. It happened man, come to terms with it. That's not mJ's fault, he wasn't even there.

As an Italian who Grew up in Bridgeport in Chicago and who has Relatives in places like Franklin Park, Melrose Park and Bensenville, I noticed that Pesci Not the great method actor DeNiro picked up on these things about Outfit guys from Chicago and Nailed the performance while Bobby just imitated his performances of New York wiseguys. Well I am sorry it absolutely shows. You can UA-cam Videos of Frank Rosenthal talking with his heavy Chicago Accent and watch how he acts, it won't take you 5 minutes to realize Pesci nailed the role of an Outfit Mobster, while De Niro significantly missed the mark. Most people probably figure Chicago ( outfit guys) & New York ( five family guys) to sound pretty much the same but they actually do not, so I am sure most people missed this but that comparison was a little off. Michael Jordan is more like Daniel Day Lewis, he absolutely has no equal in his field. In his profession MJ like Lewis is the best who ever did it and in both instances the second best person really is not even close. Pippen had to sign off on Last Dance. Not only did he go after Jordan but he went after Phil Jackson and essentially the whole team. Pippen is one of the greatest players in the nba. However everything is fact from the migraine, foot surgery etc. Pippen is the one who confirmed this in addition to many including Jordan telling him not to sign tho contract. What is the issue Pippen has heard fellow players current and past call him the Robin of the Bullls to Jordan being Batman. Pippen is upset and it’s wrong to be upset at Jordan because of how the media and fellow past/present players view you. The truth is many things Pippen did made him respected but not revered and celebrated.

I understand Pippen’s frustration and bitterness. These days when we discuss 90’s bulls, everyone talks MJ’s greatness in a way of worship. For example, the last play of 98’s final is being shown by every NBA clip. We all know MJ’s great shot. However, how many know the final play of 97 final? In my opinion, that was a more spectacular and difficult play by Pippen. If it had been done by MJ, I bet it would be shown in UA-cam as many times as the 98’s play.
By the way, 96 final game was won by Rodman, not MJ. This was Sonic’s coach said after the game
