Increadibly calm, intelligent, self-assured, soulful, unpretentious, wise.
He is the living, breathing epitome of cool.

"I project certain things with minimal animation, it's either you like that type of delivery or you don't"
Trust me Clint, we like it 💞

Clint had his poop in a pile. From early on he was very wise with his money, demanded high salaries even in 1968 for Where Eagles Dare, establishing his pay scale early. Invested in real estate when the prices were fairly reasonable. Learned directing from one of the best, Don Siegel. Was able to pick and choose his projects by the early 1970's.

Clint accurately described the neurotic self obsession that can engulf people who find fame in the entertainment industry. There seem to be many like that currently but I am sure there were many in his heyday too.

Was the joke that they are all too serious on screen or in real life? I heard Mitchum was pretty intense guy, didn't catch other names. Nice chat Bobbie with Mr cool himself, a real film legend. So short, was there anymore? Seemed to end abruptly. I remember seeing clip of him on Carson and David Letterman was giving Clint a hard time for not dressing for occasion, he was a pain, trying to get him angry, never liked Letterman, overrated🤔......Yes.

@@sailorbrothers7029 Johnny Carson chat show. David Letterman was annoying, but it could have been a comedy bit. Not sure.

@@amovieatbedtime4716 mightve been a bit but Dave could be an ass and liked winding people up if he could. He was funny sometimes but also often a pretentious snob

Dave was always very funny and he was just joking with Clint. Letterman changed comedy and late-night tv
