And expecting a good fight out of whoever is trying to kill some guy with a machine for a head and no real fighting capabilities is like expecting a good meal when digging through a gas station trash can. And sure, it could maybe be reasoned that he was promised a fight with a Viltrumite, but the problem is, Machine Head had no idea who Mark was, aside from some new superhero. Let alone knowing what a Viltrumite even is.

Battle Beast, also known as The Scourge of The Twin Galaxies, is legit one of the strongest characters in the entire series. Omni Man wouldn't have fared much better even of he had decided to step in.
It would have been a good enough fight for BB to care and go all out at least. Every fight with a full fledged Viltrumite seemed to meet his standards in the comics.
That's exactly why he didn't step in.
Battle Beast left the insects to live in disgust, with Omniman there he'd find them all 'worthy' to kill.
It would've been a good cover to say that it was battle beast who killed the guardians and him, by getting his ass handed to him against him
For real, battle beast was throwing casual punches and shrugging off everything. If BB went all out then even Omni-man would've had to peace the fuck out.

When they showed up I was like "you wont make a difference. Episode 3 alone showed me the difference in strength when mark easily punched monster girl, arguably the strongest of you, into a wall. If mark couldn't do anything, there's no way you will"

Vitrumites are like Saiyans in they get stronger when they heal from severe injuries (Zenkai Boost). They can also take an insane amount of damage without dying. That could be One of the reasons Omniman didn't interfere.

I think they can get to conquest as the final villain. Have mark go to the planet where he meets *blank* by th second or third episode where he gets captured then shit happens etc and we can have conquest as the first taste of viltrum war arc for season 3. Of course putting in levy and the robot/monster girl arc might be a tight squeeze but i feel they can do it. The show does cut out a bit from the comics. But they added that mummy idk wut they gon do wit it.

This episode was brutal! Battle Beast is savage! I liked the Kingpin Thanos comparison someone else made. Or the final boss that pops up way too early. Though I liked the themes of focusing on the lives of individual people that big picture heroes often forget. And what people will do for their family. I felt bad for Titan.
