Just going to cargo trailer make your own 4 quarts of the price it be just as good as a Colombian better depending on the hell your workmanship is.. but DIY is the key guys DIY do-it-yourself that's what I say that must cost at least 50 Grand..
Really hard to understand your point.
I believe some words came out wrong
@@280zone I believe he is saying make your own cargo trailer would be cheaper.
It would but not sure how the resale would work out since there is no book value for homemade.
I love this old house, it was a big inspiration for my career.
Love all the consideration this man put into creating a family friendly, outdoor focused set up. Looks like fun. Great tour...again.
He did a great job
Seems like a great family guy. Good for him.

Ended up picking one up this weekend. $17.5 with tent, tv, truma fridge and awning. Today's market I would say that's a good price. I don't care to wait 6mo+ to save $1000-2000, was the memories with my small boys I am after. This video really helped me feel confident in my purchase. Thanks again
That seems like a great price. What are you towing it with? I’m eyeing up the 10.6.
@@MarkMangano was using a 2016 Honda Pilot AWD. We recently traded it in for a Geo Pro 19BH because we used it so much my wife wanted all the amenities. Miss it though. We did get a good price so when we traded in it was ok to take the $15k offer from camping world
Wowzer what a set up. Nice. And they guy was so accommodating showing how it all works. Great job
Thank you very much.

Thank you to the gentleman for his in depth explanation. I love this trailer and tent system.
Thank you Sophie
Loved the camper before, love it even more after this video. Great job!
Cold weather camping. Love it.
Great weather so far in New Jersey this winter.
Love the set up, and the Jeep especially the retractable steps. I am a Ford guy, can’t wait for the new lines of Broncos. It certainly will give the Jeep a little competition. I did have a chance to meet you at Hershey RV show. Safe travel.
This guy is an awesome human being!
Thank you very much. Subscribe for more videos
A very informative video and did anyone like that generator rack up front? Very nice 🌻
He’s got it going ON!! Thanks Patrick!
Thank you very much.
This was very helpful. Considering the NOBO 10.6 & was great to see an actual owner talking about it.
Awesome.
That was an awesome set up
Thank you
that is one hell of a camper van! love the channel mate, glad i found it
Thank you very much.
Love seeing a camp set up. Ever since you did that parking lot tour of the guy with all the toys I've thought everyone would like to see it all in place (action?).
Thank you, Shelley, it is great to see one in the wild with someone actually using it at the moment.
your videos are so informational. thanks for putting these together and sharing them with us!
Thank you Jason.
Great guy and great rig!
Nothings else says pinoy like canned corned beef! Thanks for the run through. Great set up.
Great set up for family oriented adventure 👍
Yes it is. 👍🏽
Awesome overview -- beautiful setup!!!!!
Thank you very much
Family first. I love it!
👍🏽
Thanks for this video. Helped me to decide on my NOBO 10.6 & I love it.
Glad I could help!
How is it towing with the Jeep? I have a 2020 4-door Wrangler Sahara Unlimited and thinking about pulling the trigger on a 10.6
Great video!! Very interesting, like tow trailer vids and not just vans even though I’m a van guy.
Thank you for watching
Only in my dreams. Awesome. Thx. Happy New Year everyone
Thank you for checking it out
Looks like its perfect for families with kids. Send them upstairs to the 'fort' and get peace downstairs! I like the sliding roof deck which becomes a patio shade awning, very smart idea. I wonder if we can use that for solar panels so that awnings become additional solar collectors and shade vehicles in the sun. The pull out kitchen is very Australian outback style.
Thank you for checking it out. Yes, it’s nice for the separation. Solar collectors on the awning would be good
Wow! That was awesome!
Thank you Tish
New to trailers/RV world, stumbled here since I am looking at the NOBO 10.6. Great video. Thinking this might be the one for my family to enjoy nature. I also have a wife, twin 5yo boys and a dog.
Thank you for checking it out
Awesome setup. Rooftop tent looks fun
Thanks 👍
Nice, seems like you have everything you need. Good luck and God bless 💜🙏
Thank you! You too!
A great set up. I really like it 😊
Thank you Kat
You asked the perfect questions. Thank you.

Great set up.....
Great video....

Thanks! I've been looking hard at the NB10.6. That guy is very cool. Hes right about the family. If they think camping sucks they won't come.
Thank you for checking this out
Hey Patrick! He has a really nice set up! Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you very much
New Jersey Outdoor Adventures You’re welcome!
PATRICK, HELLO, These 2 units from the group sure are interesting and yes I thought they were PHILIPINOS , HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YA CHEERS FROM NJ🇺🇸
Thank you for watching. There were a total of three videos from this event
This convinced me to buy the same trailer! 😊 Thanks for the video
Hope you enjoy it!
Another great video , thanks

Very, very nice!
Thank you very much
I would never think so many cool rigs are visiting Allaire
The most unique camping spot in NJ
What a great dad. He's exactly right.
MY father was an excellent survivalist, with the best ski training the 82nd Airborne could provide in Leadville, Colorado. I camped at Camp Hale one May on my way to Idaho from Gunnison, Colorado. It got below freezing that night, and I didn't vent my 3-season tent well enough. So I got a taste of the suck, but Dad got a full dose.
So he COULD do it. He KNEW how to keep us warm, dry, etc. But why would he do that when he had a perfectly good, dry and warm HOUSE that he worked all day to provide? To him, taking us camping was like torture. He COULD do it, but he didn't want to work that hard on his day off. "Let me sit in my damn chair and read a damn book. That's MY idea of a fun weekend!" He just wanted to be left alone, so he could re-charge his batteries for another not-fun week of work.
The few occasions he did take us anywhere on trips, he was in a bad mood and made everyone around him miserable. It wouldn't stop until we were around relatives and he pretended to be a good guy, and the rest of us got a break.
This guy in the video thinks the way I do. And I bet he gets real satisfaction from making things (close to) perfect for his family. I ended up not having kids, because I knew I was too much like my father, and didn't want to put myself where I felt low and started taking it out on people around me who couldn't fight back. I'm pretty sure I'm not like that, anyway, but I'm not sure that being childless isn't the reason I had time to genuflect and mature. Having kids makes you grow up really fast in some ways, but it also stops you growing up in other ways. This guy's found the right balance. A true alpha male.
That is awesome thank you for sharing that
Another cool rig !
Thank you for checking it out
Wow!!!! Nice!!!👍👍
Thank you
Great video. We have basically the same setup. But I have questions about the weight distribution hitch used between the wrangler and the NoBo. Our lifted jeep is too high for a W.D. hitch. I wonder how he got his worked out?
Nice LED headlights. I run them on my Land Cruiser
Thank you for watching
20:00 I really love those deploying sidesteps 😍& many other things with the whole Wrangler& NoBo 10.5 setup & combo. 🤗.& 😍😍 20:37
Thank you for the support
You left that mans door open lol. Also this is cool but the owner seems very nervous, check him for meth j/k lol it was hella nice of him to give us a tour of this great lil rig. Very nice indeed!loving those Nitto tires on the Jeep!
Oops. Sorry about that
+1 for the family!
Very nice!
Thank you Jenny
Love It!
Thank you 🙏🏼
Wonderful!
Thank you
Great Video and will be picking up my 10.6 up this week. Do you know where the cargo carrier (where the generator was mounted) was bought? That is a great idea!
Thank you for checking this out. I think they have a Facebook group for this product with great information for aftermarket
Theses a very popular in Australia and, they’re not cheap either. You can go just about anywhere with them
Thank you Rowan
Good choice on the equalizer weight distribution. Not cheap but probably one of the best on the market. He optioned it out well with the rear view camera and power tongue jack.
Great point!
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures Hershey show is on our schedule this year. Stop by the rv value mart booths. I saw your van the year b4 last there. Maybe I can give you a tour of display
That looks like my rig, but I started with and Intech instead of a NoBo. It gets the family out and involved, and thats whats important.
Thank you for watching. Yes family 👍🏽
Nice set up with a couple well thought out add on's. like that generator mount up front. Where can I get one of those???
I just purchase the 2021 model in the toy hauler version and the generator is a must have, but a pain to carry around once you get to your destination, a permanent location up front would be very cool. Does he run that while mounted there or does he have to remove it? Think I may be concerned about the vibration and exhaust while running on the rack.
Congratulations. I believe he removes it when running
You sound like a cooler Ray Romano.
Ps. Excellent vids.
That was great. Now get back to work on the Airstream.
Thank you. Did the same today.
Nice Unit! I just ordered a 2021. Does the unit come with 2 Batteries?
Some say it is prepped for solar some say no. Also if you can what is the cold weather package? Thank you for the video
They forgot to mention that the "floor" storage, when top removed, and empty, lets you put your legs in it for a more comfortable upright sitting position.
I wonder what size generator he runs?(really cool rack to hold generator)🌻
Thank you. Great video. Does the fan work with the tent deployed?
Good question
Great setup!! Quick question. Are you aware of any beaches that you can camp on in NJ?
You can fish overnight at Island Beach State Park with a 4x4 vehicle.
I wonder if that trailer will fit in a standard 2 car garage
I deliver travel trailers for a living and I like the smaller ones much better I would take this one you have over a 40' 1 anyday the only drawback is forest river makes us to bad grand design didn't make it. If you're thinking of getting something a little bigger look at Winnipeg's they actually are made by grand design or air stream bass camp
Patrick!! Whatta surprise! I've seen many of your Airstream vids, was quite surprised to see you here! Do you sell these little NoBo trailers?? I'd drive from LA to buy one from you if you do.
Thank you Ron. I happened to come across this camping group while biking. I only sell Airstreams
I'm from the west coast of the US what trailer was he interested in and what price did he pay for the one he has?;we have no sales tax in Oregon
I believe about $15000
It's a nice layout for a large teardrop style camper but some owners have reported major flaws in the older generation(up to 2019) NO-BO trailers. There are a couple of users on Expedition Portal that report the rear wall cracking at the corners, Interior framing of walls cracking at the welds, walls separating, roofs de-laminating, the AC unit working loose and more. Apparently the frame is only 14ga(barely 1/16") steel so expect it to flex pretty bad off road leading to more body issues.
Not to be a 'Debbie Downer', I honestly hope Lex gets as much enjoyment out of it as possible with few problems, but potential buyers should do exhaustive research and beware of pit falls. There's a very good reason the serious overland trailers out of Aus tend to cost 3x as much(and weigh more).
Thank you for the useful information, hopefully those challenges have been corrected for the 2020 model year.
Awesome setup! Love the jeep as well..
Thank you Vic. 👍🏽
🍻
Do you have information on the sway leveling system?
It is the E2 system
Do you really need weight distribution for such a small trailer? Nice setup and great overview. I've got a Jeep KK and this would be the perfect camper trailer for it. Thanks.
It is recommended if towing with a Wrangler
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures Thanks for the reply. After you stated the loaded weight, I could really see where you're coming from. That's a serious rig right there. Very nice. And glad you got the family involved. They'll remember these times for the rest of their lives.
What kind of fuel set up do you have my friend?
Those tier drop trailers are awesome🥰
Thank you.
Hes good at following the camera
Thank you
Nice video. Is there a Maxfan or something like that?
Good question. I did t see one just the roof AC
No, the AC/heater would likely have a fan setting, but they don’t come with a separate fan.
🍾🍷🎉🍺 Happy New Years from #BBQRando 🍹🎆🎇🚀
Thank you 🙏🏼
Saw this video a few months ago. I have questions for Lex! We have the same set up. Issues with our weight distribution hitch. Any idea how I can contact him??
LOL! Corned Beef Hash! Smells like dog food when you open the can. Never ate the stuff until I was in my 20s on a fishing trip with a friend of mine. He fried it in bacon grease. After it got crisp on one side, he'd flip it over and crack 4 eggs over it, slap a lid on it for a minute or however done you want your eggs. Nothing better for breakfast to warm you up and power you up on a chilly morning.
I don't like the slide-out galley. I think people just like the look of them more than anything else. I wouldn't want to be frying corned-beef hash that close to the trailer, next to an opening that's really hard to access for cleaning. Others have pointed out that it's a good way to get food particles building up in nooks and crannies YOU can't get to, but that the ANTS most definitely WILL.
Besides I like my white-gas Coleman stove. A 1-gallon tin can of the stuff will last for weeks of daily use. Propane is highly overrated as a camp fuel. Big, bulky tanks that run out WAY before the same weight and volume of kerosene, lamp oil, or Coleman fuel (white gas).
Torsion axle's better than nothing, but like the guy said about Forest Service (and county back-) roads, you're going to beat things up pretty good if you don't have good suspension. I don't think Timbrens are necessary, but these Nobo's don't come with the greatest suspension.
But do like the bare-bones toy-hauler capability. Depending on the trip, having a loading ramp for cargo adds value.
I'd rig up a convertible back door, with hinges top and bottom. Pull the pin out of the bottom hinge, and you have a porch with an awning. Pull the pin out of the upper hinge, and you have a ramp for your dirt bikes, an ATV, or a micro snow machine. (I didn't even know they made them, 'til a couple years ago, watching a guy unloading one from the back of his pickup truck. I think he could pick it up all by himself.).
Awesome for adding excellent information to this post
What cooper tires are you running
He may reply to you
WOW!!!
Thank you very w
Would you be able to run the heater/ac off of solar?
No, that is what the generator is for.
Thanks,
Very well-spoken Filipino. Proper pronounciation of his F’s and P’s. Nice rig too!
Wow, you're an idiot!
Thank you for watching
Santina Belly Dance how do you know I’m an idot? Do you know me? Your reply to my comment is stupidly ignorant..... shoooooooo!
Awning needs to go over cooking area
What was the hitch system and where can it be purchased??
Available at any RV dealership
Love the camper but not all of the background noise of the video
Sorry, it was an impromptu video meeting.
my only problem is the size.. its huge when offroading.. I want something I can use to load my camping supplies into (typically fits in 2 storage totes, and a 75Qt cooler, and thats short enough, and I can put a rack on it for my RTT... still confused as to why smittybilt trailer is $8k though... I'm sure I can build something similar for much cheaper.
Scott I can see how this would be too big for some trials. Have you seen a Turtleback trailer yet?
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures yes, but I was more looking at the smittybilt trailer.. but still pricey for what it is.. thinking I will build my own frame, and then build a box on top, and re-inforce the corners with steel angle iron. and rhinoline/raptor coat the entire thing.
Look at the Intech Flyer trailer. Awesome! Much stronger construction than Forest River.
I like the NOBO 16.5 has a full bath and shower and just nicer layout not much more money about $1,000
Is it the same weight, that may be why this one was chosen
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures it's a little longer and it weighs 3,500lbs so the jeep could still haul easily even up small mountains and rough terrain. Especially if he is having his family join it's a much more comfortable trailer. But when i say $1,000 I mean last years models still never used. If you buy this years new models it is $3-4,000 difference..
Thank you for the clarification
Are you still in sales for a living ?
Yes.
For a weekend warrior he got the stuff set up nice I like it but like I said I'm so DIY I will not spend a penny to buy that got a cargo trailer empty and build that yourself much better guys I recommend it highly but that is nice though obviously he's not DIY not everybody is sufficient like I am....
Thank you for your input
not bad.... close to $100k for a weekend warrior.
Weight distribution hitch
Hi Patrick
Hello John
How’s the trailer holding up ? Reading some reviews on it seems like has lots of bad reviews ? Been eying this trailer for sometime now any more advice or update ? Thanks
what kind of bad reviews?
Allison Chau I heard that frames where bending. ????? On some forums not sure since I don’t own one I want to own one but reading the reviews made me steer away
Allison Chau yeah nice
I ended up buying a custom trailer with a beef up frame and suspension
Ended costing me more but oh well
Have fun bud and enjoy the outdoors
Chips ahoy 😃😃😃
Great find. Thank you for watching. Many more videos like this here
I didn't know Adam Sandler had a UA-cam channel.
