Already a lot of people may know this, but Glass Cannon’s dizzy negative effect doesn’t get offset by a max Dizzy Resistance sigil (which in the description says that you’re immune to dizzy). You still get dizzy by getting hit if you use Glass Cannon regardless.
@@ernestoeliasbilotti6167 yeah it’s not a bad option, but takes up two sigil slots with only 8 available for most people it’s whether you want a further two used when there’s other options, but if it’s working on yodarha that’s good. Where abouts are you in gran blue atm? I managed to complete the lucilius quest yesterday fun times lol
I always run Stun power and linked together as a pair. That’s basically my build on Ferry since with Purge spirits, I basically get insta link attacks on everything (except Lucilius), and then linked together adds a lot of link gain with it too, helps to spam SBAs
The first example are two different categories. One is on hit with weapon, which obviously it works, ands the other is after a condition is met, which the game cannot retro actively calculate.
Not gonna lie they should merge some caps together or like for example skill assault can be damage cap for skills. Because we have slots but not alot for build variety. I see the same builds.
Exactly, fuse damage cap and supplementary dmg and that’s an easy 8-10 slots. Maybe even replace damage cap offs ascension weapon and give it a new effect instead. Like a 20% dmg cut instead.
Also game new but make other weapons valuable more than half backed stat sticks. Like change passive of terminus weapons because he threshold is kind of dumb or just bump it up because I like to live. But the other weapons give them passive so they can be used like tank weapon, break weapon. crit weapon is only useful until terminus.
@MadeInIceborne yeah but it's only weapon you seen played like more variety for granblue is important it's in every game to have variety of weapons can be used not one. Like at least usable without hurting the team.
It's the third time that I asked myself a question about the game that isn't explained well, and you release the video answer the very next day. Starts to become scary 😅
It might be good to also mention the interaction between Drain and Sup Damage, as well as Cascade with Sup Damage. Since Sup causes drain to trigger (at a lower heal cap) and Cascade seems to interact with Sup as well.
I recently saw mention that supplementary damage can get combo booster to cap out faster. Supposed to be pretty good for characters like Katalina when using Ares.
Great vid! 👍 as a Rosetta main I opt not to run supp dmg for this very reason. If her roses proc’d supp dmg I honestly think she’d b broken especially when you take into account her unique interaction w/ Eugen’s gernades
I really hope they made it work on her as there really is no excuse why her kit is being limited like this when it works with other character's full kits. Probably busted with Iron Maiden + Spiral Rose if it does but then again other characters do crazy damage anyway. I'm using Glass cannon + Potent Greens with Potion hoarder depending on the boss to get more damage for now.
Enjoyable video, only things I wanted to add is about stun. I also thought it was useless but over 200 does actually help a ton. So I main Zeta and have 221 stun currently, often I knock enemies out of their big attacks and they kinda stagger backwards (does not work on proto and some other bosses though) it’s useful although against the new boss probably not lol. Last thing is about the damage cap you get actually get 370% (might be higher) because you can get 20% normal attack dmg cap and 20% skill damage cap on the masteries. Some characters also have skills that make it go higher although it seems pretty hard to follow. Will you be doing the character specific sigils and which are worth using and which aren’t? Would be interested to see the results tbh
Great thoughts! Imagine running a ton of stun along with maxed out guard Payback 😂 We'll be doing character specific guides once lucilius is out and we put out a guide to his fight. We'll go over any sigils that are most relevant to the characters signature or not
@@TheGameClub haha that would be very effective maybe a video idea 😂 Just downloaded the new update was disappointed there was no qol updates to transmarvels, was definitely hoping something interesting would be added. Hope stream went well, at 5am uk time I was definitely fast asleep lol
Great info ! Some questions I never thought I'd need an answer for but I definitely appreciate. I also wanna know If the Sup damage both Narmaya and Percival gain from their respective boosting skills whether It's additive multiplier to the Sup damage sigil, multiplicative or It just becomes an additional instance of damage on top.
It simply becomes another instance of damage, that has a 100% rate of activating. In this way you can receive two hits of Sup Damage instead of just 1.
Those are two different things... And is a good thing I run Yordaha, as a passive: After parrying with your heavy attack, you would get supplementary dmg buff On the practice dummy, you would see that your supplementary dmg would double (with sigils on) Sigil and skill stacks as 25%+25% for a total of +50% dmg If you run only one supplementary dmg, you will see that after the activation of your buff, you will see (example) 40.000 on hit, and 10.000 on your supplementary dmg skill, and with only one sigil (40% activation) when occurring, you will see 20.000 instead of 10.000 Of course running 100% supplementary and a skill with that will always be 20.000
The tip about Drain always having a 500 heal cap is incorrect, as different moves have different drain heal caps. You can test this by hitting the dummy with 2 of Vane’s XXYY combos while having drain lvl 11 vs drain lvl 15. In both cases, a single light attack will heal 500, but the entire combo will have a few thousand differences.
To put it simply, machine gun builds want it and regen is better on slow poppers. Until they tweak it with a cap cleaned off or raised for slower units, it’s just better to slap it on wright stone.
Point is to have both since you cant double stack the same sigil `type` or color. Plus its better to have 2 instances for healing. One to keep you topped up by playing good and the other as your panick button. Super tanks can basically run enough damage cut and guards to just regen it back with all the chonk while boomsticks just embrace thar inner gremlin potato strapped with whirling blades if they dont just straight up play at a distance , if thar playstyle aint the same as a monster hunter Greatsword user.@@MadeInIceborne
Hence why i say its better to just take a dakka route of small hits then care about cap. do a spam of timed normal attacks, a multi shot of a frik ton of hits or just a push and spam shots like a spazzo. Basically what Rackham does and also what Yordha, Charolette and a certain Ice blade dual wielding captain does and hp would just pour back in, faster then a rubber room of rats meme rolls on the tongue. Since the less potions you burn in a run, the more you can save them for something else like a certain sigil that applies status immunity or some other affect to make those potions even moar useful.@@BlurredVision18

there is one more myth this vid did not answer that i always wondered. does supp damage proc combo booster?
Great question! We'll add this to the list of things to put in a potential follow up video
When will u guy do a video about the new sigil?
When we've had enough time to test them for ourselves
Here's a question.
Do the turrets' damage scale with anything? That's a bit of science I'm interested in :P
I'm not sure what the exact math and Stat they're pulling from but I do know that the turrets scale with how much damage you have
Drain and improved healing dont work together??? NOOOO
Some people use Sup damage sigils + skills that give Sup damage. Do they really stack? How so? Do we do more sup damage?
That's a great question for a follow up video!
Those are two different things... And is a good thing
I run Yordaha, as a passive: After parrying with your heavy attack, you would get supplementary dmg buff
On the practice dummy, you would see that your supplementary dmg would double (with sigils on)
Sigil and skill stacks as 25%+25% for a total of +50% dmg
If you run only one supplementary dmg, you will see that after the activation of your buff, you will see (example) 40.000 on hit, and 10.000 on your supplementary dmg skill, and with only one sigil (40% activation) when occurring, you will see 20.000 instead of 10.000
Of course running 100% supplementary and a skill with that will always be 20.000
Just go to the dummy, hit with no supp, hit with supp, hit with skill, then hit with both. I'll save you the time to, yes it does.
it's 14 march on japan already, wonder what time will the update live
2pm jst their time since its like around 3am ish over there rn

Suplementary dmg can work with cascade or no ?
Yes, though it's effects are minimal

That's because a combo of three hits, is three hits, 500+500+500. it's still capped per a hit.
Hence why i say its better to just take a dakka route of small hits then care about cap.
