little do we know this show is 17 seasons deep and these guys are each worth $4.3 billion
I mean, if this were actually the case, could you even tell?
Also the ice is actually hauled in by the crew. This show is fake news.
I read that its filmed inside a fallen SpinLaunch chamber.
@@rodrickard5528really? I heard it's where they filmed the moon landing but who knows anymore
It's not even parody. It's indistinguishable from the real thing.
I’ma be honest. I didn’t even realize it was a parody until I’ve read the comment section. cx
@@speedytypermananswers5551 Sometimes I go watch TLC just because it’s hilarious how dumb it is, and I’m really not that hard to please when it comes to TV, so I’ll watch shit I don’t even like just so I can make fun of how dumb I think it is, so then I’m pleased with it anyway.
I actually thought this was real till I read the comments
Why does your profile picture look like a mix of the 2 guys in the video
True
I like how at the start he calls him his “best friend Bart” and then not even a minute later we find out their married
Just shows how strong their relationship is, just like the ice they walk on.
They were roommates!
I love how it's a "blink and you'll miss it" kind of thing.
When you have written a perfectly good intro and are NOT willing to alter it, no matter what.
What’s better than marrying ur bestie 😆
that’s what I wish for at least 🥺🙏
I love that it goes from
“We haven’t missed a single day on this ice ever since our marriage!”
To
“We’re not going today cause my honeypie is cold”
Hey he went on that ice just didn’t stay on that ice
That's what HE said! Snap!
"Every minute the guys are not walking on ice, they are losing money"
read that in bear grylls voice
m.ua-cam.com/video/nrSXw-VMMUI/v-deo.html
"...Which means they're walking on thin ice."
(Cuts to the interior of an office where someone is pretending to type on a computer) “I keep saying, we’ve got too much ice and not enough guys to walk on it. The guys have got to walk on more ice, or we’re done.”
this is ice that melted ua-cam.com/video/e8lOZ9YVZ-M/v-deo.html
Took me 24 seconds to realize this was a parody
It was a parody all along?
Just cuz there is gayness in it doesn't mean it's a parody
@@Hi_Brien I think it was because there was a video shown of him putting the ring on the others finger which kinda made it seem like it was there for comedic purpose because even if it were a man and woman it still would have been strange to see a random clip of a ring being put on one of their fingers for no reason
I think the implication is that History channel doesnt have a ton of LGBTQ representation. That's the beauty of "art" though it's open to interpretation.
And I just read the title before clicking.
The sandwich episode was such a hit that the History Channel created a spinoff based on the lives of the people who make the sandwiches. It's called Ice Guys: Cold Cuts. I love the explanations in these shows, the present tense is the icing on the cake. Just imagine the cast running around from one spot to the other as they put what just happened into words, rinsing and repeating for hours on end.
Dang that pun was cold
the _icing_ on the cake...
Yeah the food is cool and all but i just find the jokes a little too cold for my taste especially when they try to break the ice during the warm up for the episode
MADE ME LAUGH A YEAR AFTER YOU POSTED IT. THATS WHY YOU ARE THE SUPREME LEADER I GUESS.
have you seen Ice Guys: Meltdown?
“My best friend Bart” 30 seconds later “When Bart and I took our wedding vows”
The sandwich argument needed more censored cursing. That would have really sold it.
Omg, It would make it even better
i disagree. the humor of this channel comes from their sort of low intensity awkwardness
Nomfren I agree that the awkward humor here is their forte - however, you can’t really parody the channel that made Ice Road Truckers without parodying the huge expletive-laced meltdowns that lead absolutely nowhere. But, I do respect your opinion and I respect the integrity that these guys have to be able to make funny content without stooping to “lol cussing”. I just think this is the one example in which some censor bleeps would have helped them make their case.
@@anonuser5852 yeah i respect your opinion too. i would actually be interested to see how the skit would look if they did cussing and bleeping and what not. as for parodying the show, i think i disagree. they did a pretty good job parodying it without the cussing or bleeping.
full disclosure, i dont watch television or the history channel so i dont really know the exact show that theyre parodying, but i thought it was pretty funny all the same
This is just the UK version of the show, don't worry, in the US version it's way longer and has way more bleeps.

I completely forgot that the youtubers I watch actually can watch videos themselves.
Not unlike the character Thor in the movie Thor The Dark World
The only unrealistic thing is that they acknowledged they're on a TV show. These kinds of guys always pretend they have no idea that they're on TV.

They also pretend that their lives haven’t changed after making TV show money
Someone said something once, most of reality TV is scripted but you know if you ever actually see the camera crew then shit is going down, that's at least why I like The Grand tour they never pretend they're not on a TV show
I love how they're risking it all, going out onto that ice, while surrounded by tree stumps.
I feel so called out because I haven’t had cable in literally 15 years and the last time I was somewhere that had it and had Discovery Channel on, it was a show about building an aquarium in Shaqs house. The violin plucking during tense moments is sooo spot on too.
