Ready to go from our garage to yours, is this beautiful 1971 Plymouth GTX. This rare Mopar is 1 of only 2,538 GTXs produced in 1971 and comes with its original build sheet. Under the hood sits a recently rebuilt & date code correct 440/375HP engine backed up by a 727 Torqueflite Automatic Transmission. This Rare GTX goes down the road perfectly and has lots of power. Installed recently were new PST front end components as well as new shocks. It has power steering, power disc brakes were just added, along with its dual exhaust, and beautiful rally wheels with RWL tires.
The floors, frame and body of this Mopar are extremely solid. The exterior of the car has been repainted in its original color B5 blue with its proper white striping. This is a rare and beautiful example of Mopar Muscle that is ready to jump in and enjoy this spring!

This was my very first car as a teenager. I worked hard flipping burgers at Mc Donald's. I purchased the car with a bent sway bar. 1982 was the year. It had 391 posi traction rear end. 440 cube's of big block power to 727 Torqueflite. I remember trying to make $ 10 bucks of fuel last me. Street light brackets were always calling for me to open up the 440. Long live the mighty Mopars.
✌️
Very cool car for a 1st car Phil!!!!! 🙂👍
My God what a beautiful car! When I saw was an automatic on the tree though, honestly my heart sank. Such a shame it wasn't a console or manual. With either of those, it would have been over the top cool.
Chrysler only built 255. 1972 GTX equipped cars. I had one in black. 9-11 mpg, if you're lucky.
True yet in the 60's and early 70's one could purchase leaded 105 octane at the pump for maybe 10 cents a gallon. Hard to thunk that but very true.
Great car, mostly original. And then, column shift. Yeah could be one of one, but still,
BEAUTIFUL GTX!!!!!
Paint chips be damned, She's a daily driver

Imagine a car that doesn't have A/C today.. odd that so many cars were A/C delete back then.

1971 GTX 440 Magnum ---- Insane.... I did ride in one in high school and the entire trip with my bud driving was short of a constant explosion.

375 hp.
I thought the GTX was a square body. Nice car nevertheless.
From 1967---70 is was. This is the body style that dominated NASCAR for years.
