Quick video to show the difference in magazine insertion between a stock HSGI X2R and one with the Hugo Industries feed lips installed. I also go over how to install the feed lips.

Just got a set for my xr2, a couple singles and a couple pistols. Absolute game changer using lr mags. Great product.
This is a great solution. Whats sad, is that you need to buy these, which add costs to an already ridiculously expensive pouch.
While I agree that it'd be nice if these feed lips were part of the pouches from the factory, the HSGI tacos are one of the most popular pouches for a reason: their versatility. So while you are paying a little extra for them, if you run a lot of different types and sizes of magazines, you're actually saving money by being able to buy one pouch and have it work with many different magazines. The competition offers magazine specific pouches which means you end up having to buy a pouch for every different type of magazine you own which in the long run ends up being much more expensive.
@@HugoIndustries I had to buy GCode Scorpions when i was shooting 7.62x39 because the top round would get pulled out of place by the top bungee on my Tacos. I still run,and preffer, the tacos with my 5.56 setup. But the point was so that i wouldnt need to buy another for an AK setup; which i ended up having to do anyway.....
@@TheTarotCardGuy Interesting. Will have to pay attention next time I use AK mags to see if that happens to me.
These worked great on my single mag rifle taco pouches. I'm gonna order a set for my double stacked taco pouch also.
Glad to hear it! Thank you for your business.
Yes sir you guys make some accessories that really work: feed lips, cobra buckle hanger and the bcg travel case all worked out great. I'll recommend you guys anytime I'm asked. Thanks, NC
Does this work with 7.62 x 39 mags?
I just bought some of the same hsgi xr2 taco pouch and haven't had any issue like your talking about. But where do you get those clips for pouch
Which clips are you referring to? The Feed Lips? They're available here: hugoindustries.com/collections/gear-solutions/products/feed-lips-set-for-hsgi-tacos
use a normal stanag magazine please
would you get this x2r or the single taco pouches
Both are good. Depends on how many magazines you need and how much space you have on your belt.
@@HugoIndustries I know I'm not accepted in this community but I will mainly be using this for airsoft, and just want something confortable and Easy to take mag in and out. But if I can save myself from buying 6 singled I would like to.
@@shrillyy1604 We don't discriminate. Airsoft is a great way to develop skills that translate to shooting live ammunition. Especially during times like these when ammunition is so expensive, airsoft if a great alternative to keep up with practice. If you need to carry 6 rifle mags, then yes, I would recommend the X2R that way you only take up 3 "slots" on your belt instead of 6. A chest rig may also be a good option. As for ease of insertion and reindexing, our feed lips will make that a breeze. It's night and day the difference they make. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@HugoIndustries a chest rig may be a good option but i think i will go with the x2r with your feed lips
I have #2 single tacos on my battle belt and the x2r on my range bag and then if I need to carry more mags or want to switch my belt up I can.
What caliber mag are you using?
In this video I’m using a Lancer 5.56 mag.
@@HugoIndustries surprising. They look like AK mags. I just ordered some tacos myself. Hope I have better luck!
@@TheSouthpawSharpshooter LIKE REALLY NOW? How the fuck does a lancer look like an ak mag....
