My family of 6 will visit Madeira next month. I need some advices what the best things to do in Madeira for only 4 days. After that we’ll land in Porto for 2 days and finish our trip. Thank you in advance!
We love the Monte botanical gardens and the toboggan ride down the hill! I want to go back to the natural pools in Porto Moniz. You can’t miss Fanal! Plus so many good hikes. There are fires on the island right now which may affect what areas you can visit when you go though so I’d look into that.
Yes and no. It’s totally doable but a lot of it is a little nerve wracking. There are a lot of hills and windy roads. We had a turbo diesel so no issues going up hills. But I still can’t believe how steep some of those roads are! Make sure you rent a car that can handle it and you’ll be alright.
@@BonVoyageBrenda thank you for repliying. I'm planning to go in October. Will be an experience for sure. Awesome video quality by the way Brenda; you keep up the good vibes, and we'll keep watching your videos. Much love to all!!!

@@BonVoyageBrenda my wife is from Madeira, she said in March it rains alot. Great videoing...Great Content.
Thank you! And yes it did! I’ll have to come again in a drier season!
Very nice video , shame the weather wasn't too good .
Thank you! And I know! But I guess it gives us a reason to go back!!
It depends on which part of the island you are at.
Over tourism gonna ruin our island sadly
Please stop calling it the Hawaii of europe.
Why??? It’s called Hawaii of Europe for a reason the Ukelele in Hawaii is from Madeira want more connections
@@j0s3mar9ues It's called 'Pearl of the Atlantic'. Have some respect or don't come or mention us again.
@@willie549 Madeira is known by both names go and travel a bit more. Go to a library and expand your knowledge.
@@j0s3mar9ues No it's not. My wife is from there and I lived there for 10 years. Obviously what you lack in knowledge and make up for it in ignorance.
@@j0s3mar9ues If you ever visit Madeira I would recommend Mundo Vegan restaurant in Funchal which owned by our friend.
