    Just want to say thank you for this video! As someone who developed some bad pain while playing my flute in the last couple of years, this video has given me a lot of information to help me pinpoint and work on some better postures and technique to hopefully keep me playing.

    Thank you very much for these tips. I will definitely apply them. My tension seems to be in my left arm and hand, as I am learning a new tune. I find myself pressing the flute too hard against my chin. Once I've memorized the tune, then I seem to relax and can play without that tension. So I need to see if these will help during my "tune learning" time.

      Yes, the left hand can be an extremely tense area-especially since it's a primary support point. Let me know how it goes!
